I decided to stop and take my chances considering it was late. Luckily I did! Denise was super helpful. This is the place for Dia De Los Muertos make up. This place is well stocked and De ise does an awesome job showing you how to do the make up at her classes which are free! Thank God, I love Ben Nye and had not been able to use it for years because the drive out to Nigels or cinema secrets was way too far . I USE Ben Nye ISK 18 Olive tan cream foundation and it blends with my complexion flawlessly. Its a great product, its comes in various weights, the pigment, texture, quality and price are unbeatable. I got the help i needed! The staff was helpful and just all around nice and the store sold a little bit of everything. I went in to find a mask after looking through most of the party supply stores around montebello and couldn't find what i was looking for. Upon entering i was greeted and they were kind enough to order a mask online for me and have it delivered to the store in time for my masquerade formal. Yesterday was my third time in a month that I've entered this store. Unfortunately, I was pressed for time to get decorations for my best friend's Bachelorette party which is why I kept coming here. At first I thought everything was very overpriced here, but when I came back the second time they had marked down a few items and had received new merchandise that I was planning on purchasing online so I decided to just buy it there. One of the main reasons why I didn't like this place is because I don't feel comfortable going to places and having people follow you around, which is what the owner was doing to me the other day. I don't like being pressured to buy anything, I just want the freedom to look at things without being felt that someone is looking over your shoulder. The second thing is that yesterday when I went in to exchange something from the day before, I saw the owner talking to another female who I thought was a client reserving flowers but later turned out to be an employee of hers. She was screaming at the woman insisting that she did everything her way since it was her store. Me and another customer just stood there quietly and patiently in line while the other worker helped ring us up. If it hadn't been for me really wanting what I was about to purchase, I would have walked out. The screaming in front of customers was just really unnecessary and disturbing. It could have been kept private, and not be held in the middle of store in front of other customers! I'm just grateful I finished all of my shopping. The only good thing I could say about the place is that it's convenient if you live in my area, and they do accept returns with or without a receipt as long as they are unopened packages and they are still selling the item in the store. read more

And the biggest gem of them all was Denise! Denise's expertise in event planning and willingness to share tips/ideas/tricks for specific types of parties makes her a top notch consultant to have on your side. Before HC, i aimlessly wandered from shop to shop. I went to Party City, Spencer's, adult shops, etc. Finding only overpriced items, a limited selection, and negligible originality. But when I finally walked away from HC with a huge blow up doll, bachelorette party cut out letters, risqué and delightfully cute games, and party favors for all the guests, I knew that i finally found a one stop shop for all things events.
