This place was a shitshow. I needed a last minute bridal bouquet. I called and spoke to a woman who has less than pleasant, but I complied and accommodated her best with her requests for timing and such. After the call, she sent me a stock photo of what the bouquet would look like. When I got to the flower shop to pick it up, the bouquet looked nothing like it. The woman who I had spoken with wasn't there. The (what looked like or seemed to be) owner was too busy to acknowledge me or even greet me, rummaging through some decorations and arrangements and yelling in Russian at a younger kid, or to ask me what I needed or anything of the sorts. (!) Regarding the arrangement and aesthetics of the bouquet, I wanted calla lilies and while the bouquet was comprised of the flowers, it had zero appeal, beauty or real floral vibrancy. It honestly looked like it had just been sloppily put together, with no real sense of taste, finesse or care. I had to push for it to be reworked - a poor worker did help me out in the end (by going back and fixing it 2-3 times) and I did finally walk out of there somewhat at peace, but the forceful, "send it back to upgrade/better it" notion of it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I'll never go back, for the overall service and quality of the product. read more

They did the flowers for my wedding and it was absolutely terrible. I ordered vases with orchids inside and they gave me orchids but not just any orchids, they gave me orchids that weren't even bloomed they still had their bulbs on them they probably had two small flowers on them. Second my bouquet was $100 and It looked nothing like the picture she showed me. The huppah was $800 and it looked terrible . All it was was just four poles some chiffon and two flowers on each side. We order balloons for a birthday party, the owner of the restaurant told us to go to this lady because he deals with her always. We order balloons, she tells us she's gonna get the money from the owner of the resturant because it's such a "magical deal" that she only gives him - we were okay with that. The day before the party, we call her to make sure everything is okay, she tells us that we never confirmed it with her, what kind of person does this? She wrote it down in her little notebook. We even explained it to her in Russian, in the case that she didn't understand. She is very, very rude, no apologies, no manners. Do not deal with her. Elegant flowers brought my vision to a reality. With all of the stress while planning a wedding, the florist planning was the easiest. Natasha was great to work with and listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted. Everything was spectacular and she was very easy and great to work with. The center pieces were done to perfection and the chuppah looked unreal. I highly recommend elegant flowers as an event vendor . I recently got married in NJ and originally was looking at the vendors in the area . My friend recommended to check out Elegant flowers in Queens . I met with Sergey and he was extremly helpful . I was very particular at what color and style I wanted for my wedding and he had to deal with me and my maid of honor till about 10 pm trying to show samples and pictures . At the end I was complitely satisfied with how my center pieces came out as well as bouquets. The prices are probably the best ones you can find , because I know a couple of my friends that payed twice more and didn't get the same results . Everything was delivered on time , arranged as planed and even picked up from the venue the day after . If I had to help someone plan an event I'd only recommend to go with Elegant Flowers.
