I'm not sure it's exactly like riding a bike--but Karen made me feel completely at ease from the start. Kiwi, my horse, was incredibly patient and gentle with me. I swear she knew I needed a little extra TLC! It made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free. I even got to do a tiny bit of trotting, which was such a fun bonus. Overall, it was such a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to try horseback riding or get back into it!

Susie is always very kind and welcoming, and patient with our daughter. She even let us visit the chicken coop, let my daughter pick a few eggs and feed the chickens just for fun. The animals on the farm are all so sweet and calm too. We're very thankful for this business, great memories made here!

Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional, Unethical, and Unresponsive!…read more I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Nohl Ranch Saddle club; previously known as Anaheim Hills Saddle Club. After paying $2000 upfront, I was only there for two days before deciding to leave for another ranch due to the owner's rude, racist and unprofessional behavior. On my second day, the owner spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending manner, making me feel entirely unwelcome. When I decided to leave, I requested my $2000 back, as I had barely utilized their services. Shockingly, they refused to issue a refund. Left with no other option, I took the matter to court. The judge ruled fully in my favor, yet despite the legal decision, they have failed to respond or return my money. This shows a blatant disregard for both their customers and the law. I strongly advise anyone considering this club to be aware of their unethical business practices. My experience has been deeply frustrating, from the poor treatment I received to the lack of accountability and professionalism in resolving the situation. Additionally, I did my research and found a large history of extremely horrendous behavior from the owners, management and staff. I posted in an Orange County Equestrian Facebook Forum and had an overwhelming 40+ individuals reach out with horrid stories from boarding here. Boarders beware! Avoid this place at all costs!

We ended up having to retire him to pasture a little over 3 years (he was 16.5) due to on permanent long lasting damage from this ranch. Janelle, Laura, and Heidi all work to ensure that riders have a safe and fun experience while learning how to work with a 1000 animal with a highly tuned flight reflex. Attitude is everything. If you want to take instagram post photos and not learn a thing, this may not be the barn for you. If you're genuinely interested in learning how to ride -- English Discipline, Western Discipline -- Reign Equine is a great place to start! One instructor competed on the intercollegiate circuit and can talk to your college bound equestrian about opportunities to explore. With regard to previous posters, it's important to remember Reign Equine is a business. There are schedules and policies that must be adhered to to ensure that all clients enjoy a safe and fun experience and that their equine business partners are happy in their work and safe to work with. His riding therapist is so caring and intuitive about handling our son's special needs. Kevin is calmer and more confident since his horseback riding therapy at Tara's Chance. Thank you to all the caring staff there! They recently put on a yoga brunch for the mothers of their riders. It was such a great afternoon of self-care. I love their annual fundraiser too.
