On walking in, there are two techs doing acrylics, so I say hello and just hang out for a while. (You know, patience and all) After 15 minutes of waiting, both people saw me and no bother with a simple 'hello' back, I ask another customer who's sitting in the pedicure station if she was a walk-in. Highly recommend here! Both Haylee & Alice have done my gel manicures a couple times each and they are both friendly, helpful in suggesting colors (cuz I'm overwhelmed with choices), and most importantly, they are both very meticulous with their work. I love that although they both work quickly, it never feels rushed as they take their time to look over their work, making sure all my nails are filed evenly & nicely, that the color is done well & neatly and they always check to make sure I'm happy with my nails before I have to pay. My gel manis last three weeks, no problems, other than being able to see the nail growth. I get neutral, subtle colors on the nail beds so the nail growth isn't so obvious. They are reasonably priced and at times are super busy. I have seen them have to tell walk-ins to come back at certain times so I suggest making an appointment. read more

That and she asked personal questions about me and my family and where I lived, and when I didn't want to share personal details when I'm surrounded by strangers, she got pissed off. i went in to get my eyelashes permed and tinted. that was the biggest waste of $57 i've ever spent. my eyelashes look the exact same only slightly darker. they are not permed whatsoever. i had to wait almost an hour even though i made an appointment. extremely unprofessional and just a complete waste of my time and money. i will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone looking to get their eyelashes permed. i actually cannot believe i just wasted my money on that read more

On a good note this place is clean. Unfortunately I find myself editing my once very happy happy review. It seems as if things have changed since I've last visited. Prices are still reasonable and staff is still friendly, however the skill level is inconsistent. The same nail techs I've had here before unfortunately do not work here anymore :) My friend and I were happy with our pedicures the first time, but not so much the second time around. Had to update my review of them since it's been a while. My last review was after my first (!) time there. I'm now a loyal customer and I couldn't be happier with their services. For starters, I LOVE Hailey but I go to King for my nails. We've established a good repoire and he knows my style well enough by now for me to be able to give him creative freedom when I'm not exactly sure what I want. They always do a great job with lash extensions and waxing. Super sweet and accommodating, so much so that my daughter is always excited to go with me now. There's no better salon downtown! They're also great at repairing other places shoddy work, which is nice, as I'll be needing them for that tomorrow! read more

I went here to do my nails for winter ball and they came out AMAZING! She hand painted a beautiful snowflake on my nails like I asked. I thought she was going to use a sticker but she totally free handed it. I got a manicure with gel polish and it came out exactly like the design I chose. I usually wait 30 minutes but today it was almost 2 hours for a lash refill . I made my appointment 4 days in advance. I think it's ridiculous how everyone has to wait . Had read reviews and seemed like a safe place to go for a decent pedicure. We booked a week in advance given it was to be on New Years Eve day. Hubby and I arrived on time looking forward to some pampering yet the expression on owners face was like she was saying "what do you want" or "you better have appt. because we are busy". Not the greeting one would expect. No smile, no hello...just gave a stern look and waited for me to hopefully say we had an appt. OK....so she muttered something walking away pointing to the nail color, which I knew meant pick out a color. To my husband she quickly pointed to one of the pedi chairs. A minute later another gal came to start filling the foot bathes for us. She was assigned to me, the owner to my poor husband. My gal did ask how I was but that was end of verbal communication for the pedicure. The owner only pointed to a paper asking which pedi we wanted. We chose the middle one, 30.00 thinking it would be extra time and added perk. Well, lets just say the experience wasn't good. I've never ever had such a quick nail and foot treatment service so rushed in my life. I don't think she spent more than 5-7 mins. cutting, shaping and cuticle care on my toes. Then it was on to a foot scrub for couple mins. each foot, then the so-called extra 5.00 bucks for the sugar foot/leg scrub. That was the only decent part of the visit. But again maybe 3-4 mins. each foot/leg. Then she rinsed all scrub off and assumed she was going to massage lotion, hot stones or something as final process before doing nail polish, but oh no....she was done with all but painting nails within a mere 20-25 mins. tops!!! Unbelievable. My hubby was out of the chair about that time as well. She went on to paint my nails, never asking if I liked the color before rushing to commit to all of them. Then before she even had lid on polish she was motioning me to get out of the chair and go put my feet under the blue light at a table near the door. I must add the pics of the salon looked like a fair size place, it was so misleading the salon is very tight quarters and very small. When I went to pay I noticed they tacked on taxes which I've never seen before in a nail shop, normally the price on the board is what you pay. I was reluctant to even give a tip. No thank you from either gal, no "Happy New Year", no "how do you like it?" nothing. Just felt like they could care less and just want the next paying victim in the chair. Have no clue how the reviews could differ so much from our poor experience. Never again. read more

Had an appointment with a friend. She had her nails started within about 5 minutes of us arriving; I had to wait for over a half hour. We were on a tight schedule so this meant I had to skip my manicure. My friend's manicure was a weird color (even though she requested a very light neutral) and not very well done. Plus, we realized later that a wad of cash fell out of her wallet (which we realized immediately after leaving, so it definitely occurred there) and none of the staff thought it important to attempt to speak up and/or return it. While there, a nice Mom and young daughter (who also had appointments) left after waiting patiently for 20 minutes or more. The daughter was especially disappointed. Clearly appointments are a joke at this place and are routinely not honored (as they just take whomever walks in whenever and then expect those with "appointments" to wait). I'm not usually one to do this but I was so disappointed with my pedicure first of all I told her I had a cut under my foot & that she didn't need to massage it or anything I just wanted my toes painted & I let her know before but she still did it when I told her not to, then when she started to paint my nails she didn't paint my whole nail she missed spots & it was like she was rushing to get through it & she DID NOT CLEAN IT UP she got nail polish on my skin & her paint job was just so bad I waited till the end to see if she would clean it up & make it look decent but she DID NOT . Their customer service wasn't even good either as they were doing my nails a lady walked in & out of the 5 workers there none of them said "hi we'll be right with you, you Can have a seat for now" nothing they just stared . Very friendly staff but their services are subpar. I came in for an acrylic fill but the nail technician removed all but two of my acrylic nails. So I figured she would be placing new tips on my nails. NOPE! Just placed the acrylic directly on my nail. My nails were left uneven, some are thicker than others, gel nail polish was left on my fingers. The pedicure was worse! The water was cold and the entire thing (sugar scrub, lotion massage & polish) took 15 min at the most. Would not recommend this place. read more

Found King on instagram over a year ago! He always does a great job and is always accommodating. Although I only go to him for manicures I have had nothing but good experiences when going there. I highly recommend him. Also because I've gotten my nails done for a long time, I can tell you price wise it's very affordable and quality is amazing. I still don't know why this place comes so highly recommended from friends, acquaintances, and people I meet through my job! I already have a nail girl but I decided to try Heavenly because of the rave reviews. A couple of months ago, I needed a fill on my full set. I made an appointment a week in advance, came a little early and found only 2 technicians working and 3 times as many customers waiting. They had people mid-pedicure and mid-manicure and were rotating out, working on each person. It was the strangest thing. I checked in for my appointment and still had to wait 45 mins for another technician to show up to finally be seen, and to still have a terrible job done on my nails. I decided to never stray from my nail girl again. Fast forward to today. I'm leaving on vacation in 3 days and wanted to have lash extensions done. Took a chance on Heavenly for this service because I know so many girls who get their lashes done here. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago. I came promptly at my appointment time, but 30 minutes later I'm still waiting here with no explanation. Everyone I know loves this place. What am I doing wrong to not receive the same level of service? By far the worst experience with a salon EVER. Update: after 45 mins of waiting I asked how much longer it would be and was completely ignored. I asked again "Anybody? Anybody know how much longer? Anybody hear me?" No answer. I had an overall good experience with this nail salon. Everyone was really nice. My pedicure was so cute and the pedi chairs were super comfy. I had gel nails for my mani and the design just wasn't that great. They were busy and had 5 customers with 3 techs in there, but I felt my gel mani was rushed and he design did not come out exactly how I wanted it to. The area was very small. Not very welcoming. It was $10 just to get a gel color removed so I got the gel color replaced. The lady didn't really ask me, she just kind of started and asked me what color. The nails did not turn out very nice. They are already chipping and there are pieces of dirt or something UNDER the gel. So it is bumpy. read more

Quality and designs are good, but not worth the wait. I made an appointment for 4pm and they didn't get my manicure done until after 6pm. I would not have been so upset if I had been told to come later. Or if they had said I would have a 2 hour wait. I will probably go somewhere else next time. And I told my friend who's first time it was that they were awesome, and we were both disappointed. Expect to wait very long time, even if you have an appointment. People who arrived after us were helped before us. Also, my friend understand their language and they were talking rudely about us and how we were "impatient". We weren't being impatient. We were waiting patiently for 2 hours. Only for them to help people who walked in after us. I have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon before. I will DEFINITELY not be returning. It took about half an hour for them to start the pedicures and by the time they were done they still hadn't started my manicure. After waiting an hour AFTER my appointment I decided not to get a manicure because of the poor service. I got no apology what so ever about the wait. Awful! Went in for a pedicure and she cut my nails, didn't file them. Barely scrubbed my feet, with the foot file that was used on someone next to me (so unsanitary!!!) nor used any lotion or massage. And after all that only put one coat of polish on.
