I called to resolve the issue and requested they clean the full area, but instead I was told I wasn't a "good fit," and the cleaners were pulled from the job. I was also falsely accused of yelling, though I was speaking in a normal tone. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience -- I do not recommend this service.

For comparison, the first service they charged me $270, for other companies that I used before the cost was between $180-$220. The quality I got is very similar to what other companies provided. I gave a star for the flexibility as they were able to come within a day or two that I called. None of the ladies who came speaks English so the communications took time and also I think there might be miscommunications due to language barrier. I was explained the initial phone call of the services provided and I decided to do a regular cleaning instead of deep cleaning because I didn't need most of the services offered in the deep cleaning. They said for regular cleaning the they will dust off surface of furniture, an example I can share is that I have a cat tree in the master bedroom, they only dusted off the bottom of the tree and left the top undusted. I ended up paying $270 for the first time clean, and then I was not satisfied with some dirty spots that are pretty obviously seen on the wall, so I had to agree to pay $135 for them to come back and fix the wall, even though they said in their service agreement that the fix should be free if the customer is not satisfied with the clean. However, upon arrival, they changed the price from $135 to $180 on the spot because they say it will take at least one hour to clean the wall. At the end of the day, I paid $450 IN TOTAL for this clean. It was not even a deep clean. They didn't even clean the fridge or oven, which was fine because I didn't ask for a deep clean. The deep clean would cost a lot cheaper than $450. The deep clean had a discount of 30%, they could at least offer me a discount, but they didn't. I am disappointed that I paid $450 for a regular clean + a fix. I WILL NOT be a returning customer. They are a lot other cleaning services in the area with better price and service. I would definitely NOT recommend using Olivia's services.

This is the same review posted on Google reviews…read more This will be the first of many reviews I submit for Pride Restoration/Jim Seubert/Armored Public Adjusters. One of the WORST decisions I've ever made was trusting this company, it's owners and subcontractors. When I say this was a nightmare, I'm not exaggerating. After a house fire, this project was riddled with absolute ineptitude on the part of management and the workers, shifting the blame constantly, delays that resulted in me being displaced from my home for over a year and a half. I'm still displaced and the stress and strain it's put on me and my family has been profound and unrelenting. Jim Seubert stayed on the job until the insurance money was in his hands and then left me high and dry. Delay after delay, not taking responsibility, blaming everyone including the City of Edwardsville for his ineptitude. It became necessary to involve counsel to even begin to straighten this mess out. The legal termination of Pride Restoration came to a head when one of their subcontractors became so aggressive with me, shouting and coming at me in my front yard, that a neighbor felt it necessary to call for police intervention. Thank God for the new contractors (who will receive glowing reviews soon) who had to go in, assess and repair almost everything that Pride Restoration touched, incur expenses of professional engineers simply to remedy the damages done by Pride Restoration. This ALL came at my cost, draining all savings/retirement money, since Pride Restoration received the insurance payout. Per their contract, subcontractors were to be paid by them for their work, which he hasn't done and subsequently, I'm now being sued. This nightmare hasn't ended yet as we continue to find out more each day. Please....if you have a fire or water damage, do not use this company. Do your homework. Especially if you are a single woman, it seems that we are the targeted prey for companies like this. Interestingly enough, because I've been vocal about my experience, multiple people have contacted me stating almost the exact thing happened to them. As this pattern emerges, I will continue to share these experiences so that the marginalized and vulnerable have all the information. After a horrendous event such as a fire/house explosion, where we lost everything, it is a vulnerable time where one doesn't make decisions well due to the trauma and shock. Jim Seubert presented himself as a public adjuster and the company as someone who would advocate on my behalf. Not only did that not happen but quite the opposite. This is exactly the time when a reputable and honorable company would walk you through this event with compassion instead of taking advantage of vulnerable people in vulnerable moments. I've lived here 30+ years. Many friends/acquaintances continue to ask why I'm not back in my house yet. When I share the story, they are horrified and incensed that this type of greedy behavior still goes on in our town. Many want the name of the company who treats people so poorly. I'm happy to provide them with that information.

Over the past year of working with Kayla there have been consistent changes to her prices without notification, consistent attempts to nickel and dime an extra dollar out of us. She charges for every single dish she loads to every single thing she folds. When our normal cleaning went up by $100 out of nowhere a few weeks ago we inquired to why that was and she informed us that we are now paying a $20 Venmo transaction fee in addition to all these other charges to the same stuff she's been doing for a year. She did not notify us before she raised her prices either. When my family decided to terminate services with her, she referenced a contract that says she needs 30 day notice before ending. A few weeks ago we gave her notice that her rising prices were not something we can continue to do and she said she understood and then this week informed us that she needs an additional 30 days of payment to terminate the contract. When we asked her to at least clean if we have to pay $1000 (2 cleanings) can you at least do the cleaning. She refused stating after we complained about the prices she doesn't feel comfortable working for us. So she's got VERY thin skin. Words cannot express how dishonest this person is. It's really nice that she has a spreadsheet and she itemize all the things she has done which makes her come off as incredibly professional, but what it actually has shown itself to be incredibly dishonest, deceitful, & shady practices. As a business owner myself and having a family that has multiple businesses, we are very familiar with the nuances of entrepreneurship, but we are also big believers in honesty and transparency and this person does not uphold that in anyway. Recently we have found that she has been posting photos of our home (master bath and messy kitchen) on yelp and Google without any consent or permission. Legally, this is called Unauthorized invasion of privacy. This is grossly illegal. There were extra charges for cleaning fixtures like ceiling fans, Baseboards, inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, etc. All of these charges I agreed to because I was moving out and was required to have the house professionally cleaned. So, how hard could cleaning an empty house be, right? WRONG!!!! When I returned to the house after Angie "cleaned" it, i found that the refrigerator was still the same as before, the oven was the same, and ceiling fans had residue on them, the bathroom faucets were spotty and not shiny, and she left trash behind (I thought she was supposed to clean!) ... so not cleaned as I expected considering all the up-charges! I think my teenager would have done better. The only thing that was done well was the carpet cleaning, which was also required to be paid by cash directly to Angie, and she said she would then pay "her guy" the carpet cleaning service. The carpets looked great. Further, Angie was not the most friendly or professional person in the world. She talked over me and interrupted constantly, and constantly reminded me of how much she was doing for me. I thought I was the customer?!!!!
