Having no experience with massages, I was looking for a full body deep tissue massage establishment, NOT A RUB house. With that said, I found someone that understood more about massages and was willing to take time to understand my needs. When I first arrived, Amanda spent time to understand my problems and pain areas. She also wanted to understand what was important to me. I explained I had a bike accident 15 years ago and I had problems with my neck, back, legs and that Neuropathy was causing major numbness and pain. She immediately understood and was aware that Neuropathy can last for years or in some cases be permanent. I also explained that I had no success with medical devices or medication and even declined steroid injections. After Amanda and I discussed my problem areas and what results I was looking for, she began her deep tissue massage therapy. Amanda's unique skills and techniques provided relief above and beyond my expectations. In addition, Amanda's exclusive and competent way of cracking my back in multiple places has provided me instant relief. Amanda continued to concentrate on maintaining consistency as to what I needed, a 90 minute deep tissue massage that simply relaxed me from head to toe. With all the failed medical attempts to rectify my Neuropathy over the years, I cannot provide enough positive feedback about my experience with Amanda. I stay consistent on seeing Amanda weekly. Seeing Amanda weekly has improved my golf game, longer bike rides, triathlons, etc.... And most important, no pain, limited numbness and more flexibility. I have known Amanda a long time when she worked in Norwalk as a masseuse. She appears small, but trust me she is very strong. She knows exactly how to relax your muscles for a great massage. I have had many massages and cringe when people dig into your body with no idea of what they are doing. Amanda is not that type!! She can assist with various techniques, will ask if you are comfortable and will treat you with dignity and respect. Finally Amanda is the friendliest person on the planet and has a good caring soul which I think is also important in a masseuse that is good at what they do. The masseuse was the provider described in the other 2 reviews. She suggested the time for me to arrive. When I arrived, she was attending to another customer and she told me I had to wait 30 minutes. The other masseuse was free but no offer was made to switch. The massage was ok at best. Rushed service with lots of distractions. She would answer the phone during the massage and left the room to attend to another customer who came in. Also, I was surprised when she asked me to pay first, before the massage. Never had that request before. It seems the spa is disorganized and needs some type of office manger to handle the phones, payments and customers. Won't return. read more

Amanda is one of the best masseuses I've ever had. She took the time to find out where my pain was and had tended to everything in my time there. I am someone who enjoys and otherwise needs a deep tissue massage and the pressure was incredible. It was nice to leave feeling refreshed entirely. Almost every other massage I've gotten up to this point has felt closer to just a back rub after this experience. You will be pleasantly surprised by the techniques of a Chinese massage. I would absolutely recommend giving Amanda a visit. She is very kind and attentive to your needs. I can't wait to go back! read more

Best massage I ever had. I plan to come back and have many more massages here. I had my first hot stone massage and it really helped my back pain. Amanda is a good therapist and really worked out the knots. Plus, she loosened up my joints. I play lots of sports and I'm getting ready for ski season. Next time I plan to have a 90 minute full body deep tissue massage with Amanda. Her techniques are very unique. I was not disappointed and I highly recommend. read more
