After my massage therapist, who I had been seeing for years, moved out of the country last year, I tried a few other massage places, but none of them felt like home. I had a 60 minute Swedish Massage with Elle at Body of Needs Spa yesterday and have finally found my new MT and Spa home!! The experience begins with being welcomed by their delightful receptionist who offered me water and had me fill out their very detailed intake form that asks everything from specific areas of focus, lotion or oil preference, amount of pressure and all the things your MT needs to tailor your massage. Elle came out to get me and brought me in to a very tranquil treatment room. There is a whiteboard on the wall and Elle used it to note where I wanted her to focus, any thing that was important to me for my massage and then she stepped out so that I could undress. As she started the massage, the pressure was a little lighter than I wanted so I told her and she immediately adjusted. She really worked on my problem areas and gave a great full body massage!! I'm a little sore today, but in the best possible way!! I immediately scheduled my next appointment with Elle as soon as I got in the car; a 90 minute this time,. Their online booking makes it so easy to book, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. Needless to say Elle and Body of Needs are my new go to!! read more

This spa is hidden on Main Street in Middletown and is absolutely perfect. You are greeted by the receptionist when you walk in and offered tea or water while you wait. There are several private service rooms. I had a 90 minute deep tissue with Mackenzie. She was excellent at determining where I needed attention and how much pressure. The room was relaxing with the proper lighting and music. The table was heared. Prices were reasonable. I am happily sore and feel much better! I will absolutely be back to see Mackenzie again!!! Kurt was amazing! He really focused on areas that needed it and later told me i could have used 90 minutes so he could have addressed these needs more. Just had the best deep tissue massage with Katie. It was my first time visiting and luckily parking on Sunday in Middletown is free and easy. Cozy waiting area and before we got started, Katie walked me through a board to show my target areas and preferences. Lots of special little touches that made this experience 5 star including special tilts on the table to make me more comfortable. The massage was deep enough to be impactful but still very relaxing. I can't say enough great things about Body of Needs. I have been twice now, and both times my experience was exceptional. Easy to book, friendly staff, and most importantly to me, clear and open communication. Massages make me uncomfortable because it's such a vulnerable experience. Not here. They ask plenty of questions before you are on the table to ensure you are comfortable, and then communicate clearly throughout the service. If I could give this place a -5 I would! I had went there for a hour swedish massage and I spoke to the receptionist for a couple of minutes. By time I went in for my massage he told me I only had 30 minutes left. I asked him why and he tried to say I took to long when I had arrived a half hour early so that was a lie! I am elderly and vision impaired, I have also been going to masseuses for my whole life and never had such a AWFUL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE! He had only done my knees and back which wasn't even good I left there more sore then when I walked in the door!He had told me that I could come back and get the other half hour and when I called they had every excuse to why I couldn't get it! I had then spoke to the manager that was a lady and she was absolutely no help what so ever and had a VERY POOR ATTITUDE! I then asked if there was any type of compensation because the guy had told me they would make up the 30 minutes she told me NO!
