This is a fun thrift store located on Narbonne Avenue just a short distance off of Lomita Boulevard. When you walk into this shop you will be overwhelmed with all kinds of items. They really have a lot of stuff. One of the main things about this shop is that the prices are not very high. Whereas some independent thrift stores tend to put a high dollar amount on their items, this is not the case with this shop. Thus, you can discover some really interesting and unique finds and not have to pay an exorbitant price for them. As can be expected, the shop has a wide variety of items. They have jewelry, books, electronics, clothing, you name it. You never know what you'll find here, and it is always evolving. In terms of parking, there's a lot of street parking in the area, so getting a spot should never be an issue. Overall, if you're in the area, this is a great store to come in and take a look, you never know what you'll find. read more

Friendly Staff. Good Value. Decent selection of just about everything. They give out free candy & succulent cuttings as you leave. Local Business. Easy enough to walk to. If you're hungry you can eat next door at Fantastics or grab a cold drink at Lomita Alehouse & see Suzie. read more

I am disappointed. Very tight quarters and the pricing is way too high for a thrift shop. Sadly, this will not be a place I would revisit. read more

New management. Not as organized as in the past. Overwhelmed by bags and boxes of donations. Hard to even walk in the store. The store is not very spacious to start with. I would not donate there again. After donating multiple useful items which I could have donated to another thrift store, the manager expected me to pay $1 per hanger and $4 total for 4 hangers. These hangers are cheaper at Ross or 99 cent store and the whole point of going to a thrift store is to save money not be ripped off! She would not even budge to 0.50 cents per hanger and I went there to get hangers. If I was feeling better that day and it was hot, I would have taken my stuff to another store. read more

My favorite Thrift Store in the area. You will always find something in here. Tons of books, VHS, records and little knickknacks. There's not a lot of clothes but there's good ideas. I found 3 Levi's for $18. The lady in the store is so sweet. Definitely will always come back. read more

uuuum I actually like this place, and I can see the past comments/opinions stating "ok stuff" but again if you are more into thrift stores that are usually bigger, more vintage & way cheap prices, this is not one of those places. Its definitely thrifty prices (Furniture/bigger items don't really know, can assume maybe a little higher than what most people want). Anywho....its a small store, its in the "uptown/downtown" part of Lomita, (love it!) and parking is great, even though its on the residential/side streets mostly (didn't even notice if it had parking, doesn't matter)...I came ironically on the Saturday ironically right after "Black Friday" & they actually had a "Black Saturday" sale going on, everything was 1/2 off. Yea you have to dig your way to finding stuff, for me it worked out great, I found a cute sweater for $2, alot books (I'm a bookworm & they were the recent good hardbacks too), & alot of random misc. stuff I actually really needed at that time... I always have to say the ladies are nice, thats because in most of this little dusty thrift stores, they are! They probably are the better of customer service than regular stores....I guess its because they are usually alot older, kinda do it has a "volunteer/something to keep them busy" basis & have nothing but time to be nice... This place works for me, I love it, they have a decent shoe selection (just never my size) lots of clothes, both adults/baby, its just random, I love visiting here, I don't expect to buy anything & there I am walking out w/some good finds.......so its going to be hit or miss w/most people, but if your patient & like looking through crap, this is your place...... read more

I love this place very much! I used to shop here all the time when I was volunteering during my high school Key Club career. I found so many clothes here from that time that I kept and still wear now. Like most thrift shops, they have discounts depending on what day. And, when I used to volunteer here, the owner/manager would give us discount on top of the store's current discount! I am a little confused as to why this place has such a low rating. I do understand that it's a little small and looks very cluttered, but if you have been thrift shopping for a long time, you would actually think that this store has a bunch of treasures. I would love to update this again when I come back and shop to upgrade my closet because some of my general key pieces to my outfits came from this store. Please consider it! read more

I am exploring new places with my camera, and today I ended up in the very old, historic town of Lomita. I can't resist any thrift shop, so in I went after taking my photo of the exterior. It's a smallish place with mostly clothes & some furniture. They have one fewer piece of furniture now.....I snagged a vintage orange vinyl footstool, in mint condition, for 6.99! Holy crap, I almost jumped for joy. I already have a dark green one exactly like it at home, so it will fit right in. A bit cumbersome to carry several blocks to my car, but I was not letting it out of my sight. There was an interesting chair that I didn't buy - old wood with leather........hmmmmm. The prices are very good here, obviously. And.....you will receive a punch card, which gives credit for every dollar spent, and which, when filled, is redeemable for a 20% discount off your entire next purchase. You all are very lucky I am sharing this Heavenly Treasure of a thrift shop with you instead of keeping it all to myself! Hurry. read more

I didn't buy anything on my visit, but I sure did try. They have a good selection of books, and there were some fun halloween costumes (still undecided but actively looking for a fun get-up). They also had a good selection of wedding dresses and formal dresses which just so happened to be 50% off or $17.50. If I had to guess, I would say a wedding shop went out of business and gave them a bunch of dresses. There were some pretty ones. They only had a few pieces of large furniture which were a little overpriced, but most other items seemed pretty cheap. It's worth another visit, maybe i'll make a purchase then. read more

I gave this place 4 stars because there prices are so CHEAP! I come here every once in a while and pretty much always leave with a little something. They have an ok selection of items, mostly clothes of which I don't look at. I did get a cool vintage chair here once for 4 bucks!! read more

I love this little shop. It has a seasonal theme. Everything is clean, and the staff works really hard to keep things organized. I always leave this shop with more then I planned on getting. So many little treasures. I also donate items here because everything is well cared for and the funds goes to ministries. read more

A great place to donate toys and clothes. They resell at a low price which helps local families save money. Also the money they make goes towards I believe a church in the local area. Take a look or donate! So nice that these ladies do this. read more

Came back more often to this place and found a lot of good deals, PLUS I finally noticed their discount board and started shopping wayy better that way (it goes by colors, which ones are 50%, 30, or whatever that day). You'll probably have to do a lot of rummaging, but they have some good stuff here :) read more

Though the staff was generally friendly, the small space was so full and poorly laid out that it was difficult to move around with other shoppers inside. Love this place because of the books. In the back, to your right, hidden away, you might not even think to look there - just as well, more choices for me! They always have a wealth of contemporary biographies and travel books as well as the standard novels and detective stories. I never leave empty handed. As for the rest of store: it's so cramped and crammed full of clothes, it's not easy to browse & buy even if I wanted to. read more

WOW! What an amazing little place! I am so glad I found this store! The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure my trip to the store was as good as it could be. It's located in this adorable, rustic city. I even parked next to a feed store (yeah, a store where you buy food and hay for your farm animals!) It was just a short walk to the store. I found a large number vinyl records for only $1.00 each (lucky find for me!). The store was full of quality items that were calling out to me. I would have gotten more, but my car was already full and I had already found so much to buy! I will definitely return to this store as soon as I can, and I encourage everyone to visit this store! read more
