Super messy and not organized at all. We got there right before 3pm and they were saying that they close in 5 minutes. I don't know too many stores that close at 3 PM on a Friday but I guess it's their choice. It's just weird and somewhat inconvenient if you have a 9 to 5 job. I don't know if they feel that their items are curated, but some of the fairly basic items were very overpriced and it was just surprising that in such a messy dusty store the prices on some of the items are as if we are in an antique market. read more

The good: The prices are great! You won't be ripped off at this thrift store. These are the prices you expect at a thrift store. Lately, other thrift stores haven't been giving good deals. There were two $1 racks of clothes outside and almost half the store was 50% off (including the kid's section). The pet section was also half off. It was super fun to see the eclectic stuff in here. The owner was super friendly and polite. I was stoked about finding some Toni Pons (made in Spain) espardrilles for $6 in great condition in my size. I got them for my mom. They're $100-150 new at Nordstrom's or online. They had a second pair in a different color but I only got one pair. I also got a vintage green Japanese coin box for $4 that I saw was selling on eBay for $50. It had my friend's son's name on it so I got it as part of his first birthday gift. They sold signed art pieces as well. The bad: This wouldn't be the hippest spot for trendy clothes. There weren't many men's clothing items. Some items were things I don't think anyone would buy like an empty Cetaphil lotion container with pump with the labeled removed for 25 cents. The shop is smaller than your typical thrift shop. Some of the items were older or in worse condition than I'd expect for them to sell so I felt like it had a garage-sale feel to it. The interesting: They sold a car seat and stroller. I know many thrift shops won't sell car seats because they have expiration dates on them or because they're afraid of the liability. read more

I have been donating there only for years! Some of the volunteers like today when I donated one of them never smiled or said Thank you for donating. She had a negative attitude the whole time I was there and with other people there. Years ago the volunteers were much friendlier and talkative with the customers! Today I'm not sure why some of them are even volunteering and I donate because it's a Christian store but not sure I will continue after today???? I even bought 2 collectable items today anyway. read more

I happened to be thrifting the day before Mother's Day and found a beautiful hummingbird ceramic type basket type figure for my grandmother it was only $10. The item was clearly fragile and the lady at the checkout wrapped it in newspaper probably 3 sheets thick, it was then put in a plastic bag. I took it home unwrapped it detached the tags lifted it up to put it in a gift bag with tissue paper and one of the hummingbirds wings crumbled off into two pieces. I thought well was this glued before? did it get damaged with the newspaper? what do I give my grandma Mother's Day was the next day! then I remembered they had another one surely if I explained to them what had happened they will exchange it. I went back the explained my situation first to the lady that wrapped it she seemed skeptical so she's asked a woman in charge and her skepticism was even more apparent! look it was $10 I didn't want a refund I just wanted one that wasn't going to crumble when I handed it to my grandma. they hemmed they hawed they inspected and tried to determine the validity of my story. unbelievable!! The woman in charge had the attitude of someone handling estates at Sotheby's laughable really. Her offer she would sell me an unbroken one for $5 now I'm paying more for something I didn't break but I just paid it because it was never about the money it was about making my grandmother happy. I would have rated my experience higher if the attitudes of these people were better. I found them to be arrogant, petty, and rude. read more

i went here with my friend a couple weeks ago, it's really down to earth and prices are pretty good! they had two $1 racks outside and deals too (like all men's shirts on sale for $1). the workers there (all volunteers) are so sweet! i'd say the selection is not that trendy, more antique/vintage in an old-fashioned sense, but you can definitely find some unique pieces. definitely worth it to go and see what's there -- their jewelry selection is fantastic! read more

The ladies inside the store were nice, but it didn't take away from the sting of the over-priced THRIFT STORE items..... I will forever be at odds with a THRIFT STORE that charges too much! For items that were DONATED to them!!! They are not alone in this, but they are guilty of it. Though there were a few things reasonably priced, there were household decorations, dishes and clocks priced OVER $100. That is completely out of line, as it is not an antique store. It immediately turns a "thrifty" shopper off. People frequent thrift stores for a few reasons (maybe more?). 1. to find a unique treasure for a few bucks 2. because they are thrifty and will not or cannot pay for new items We do not go to thrift stores to pay $15 for used jeans and $150 for a wall clock. Sorry. Just please don't take advantage of a donated item and mark it up to a price higher that what it most likely originally sold for NEW. read more

All employees are volunteers for local churches around the area. Money made from donations goes to a Christian camp for kids. They are always friendly and donations are collected through a side door where they can sort and clean everything. Prices are great and I believe they started to take credit cards now. Before you had to spend a certain amount before they would take it. read more

Great thrift store, very friendly staff. Only annoying thing is they are cash only. I got some random stuff today: a vintage donut maker, vintage pleated skirt, shot glass, and bracelet for under $10. Very reasonably priced items! There is a dollar rack outside too, but pretty shoddy stuff. Will be returning next time I'm in the area! read more

I don't normally review thrift stores, since I don't want all the goods to disappear off the shelves, but these ladies were so nice I just had to review. Everyone working here is very nice, and you can tell the customers know them all well. The selection is huge, great selection of women's clothing and household goods as well. Nice sized jewelry case as well. I didn't find anything the day I went in, but it won't stop me from checking back every couple of weeks. read more

I stopped in this place on a Monday (closed ) I was impressed by what I saw so I got out of the car with my baby girl age 9 & 5 months to do window shopping. The ladies were stocking & she let me in to look. Very nice because some people are not fond of kids. We browsed the store thoroughly. I saw lots of furniture such as dining tables w/ chairs for unbelievable prices. A cool rocking chair that was so comfy! Rugs, paintings, jewelry and every section is labeled so you can go right to it without looking through things you don't want. Formal gowns to die for. BOOKS! Very neat, organized store with excellent prices.!!! Especially the golf clubs (Father's day hint) They are a non- profit store so all proceeds go to charity. I will be back! Alpine Attic used to have competitive thrift store pricing, which resulted in their donated merchandise being turned over more frequently. Now I see many of same items just sitting there unsold, which discourages us from wanting to shop there. read more

I hate to repeat what others have already said but... yes, the staff is super nice. I didn't actually get to shop as i was there after it closed. I was being nosey looking thru the windows to see if it was worth coming back another day. One of the volunteers came out to talk to me and offered to let me in so I'd know. I walked through and saw some very nice high end items for the home. $10 Ralph Lauren throw pillows that was pristine. Like any high end products, they were priced accordingly but they are quality so you wouldn't expect anything less. Let's also not foget, your money is going toward a worthy organization. I hope to come back but its challenging with their limited hours of operation. 11-4pm M-Sat, closed Sun's if I remember correctly. read more
