They add "tajin" and it's spicy so beware if you like plainer sangria
Holly T.

Very authentic Mexican food nestled in a small strip mall- easy and free parking. What a nice find! The margaritas were good but the sangria had an unexpected ( and not listed ) ingredient- spicy tajin. I don't like spice and I didn't care for the seasoning. Kinda ruined the sangria I was expecting just fyi. The food was good and authentic- loved the quesadillas!! Our young server was lovely, and artwork on the walls were for sale and very good.

The queso tasted like the normal store bought Velveeta and it was 9 dollars for a small to meduim size. The to go drink was roughly the size of a solo cup for 14 dollars. And the price was a little steep, even if it was good Mexican food.

Taco al Pastor

First time visit for me and I had a pleasant experience. I stopped by with a friend for dinner on Thursday and to our surprise, there was live music - what a treat! It doesn't look much from the outside but it certainly has its charm - cute and cozy with polite staff. This location appears to be a local favorite as it was packed. As soon as a table became available, it was quickly filled with another party of guests. Everything ordered was delicious and we saved room for dessert - you must try the cuatro leches! Overall solid experience - worth the trip if you're new in town or visiting.

Pork Shank Mole Poblano
James H.

First because it is a neighborhood restaurant, we walked to dinner and my route was shorter than my wife's choice to the meal by 6 minutes. So my Mole Poblano Pork Shank with black beans & rice was extra good. I celebrated with the La Hecho's Margarita with Tequila of the Centenario on the rocks & salt. My young daughter managed to break her child proof cup of milk and the staff was quick & attentive. The place after all these years still has the mojo for tasty authentic dishes.

Came in here Thursday the 15th before close. Ordered my food over the phone. I walked to the point of sale with the bartender. She runs my phone for Apply Pay and either she decided to leave herself a $60 tip in addition to the tip I left her, or the restaurant double charged my card and is refusing to contact me again about it. I spoke to a woman on the phone who said a manager would contact me and reverse the charge. They have not. Given the reviews I highly doubt they are even going to reach out to me. My advice to you, is if this happened to you. Call the police and file a report like I am. This is theft and the management and ownership really don't care.

The blanco mole enchiladas are unbelievable. The poblano mole is also top notch. Great service and atmosphere. Will be back.

Home cooked (real) Mexican food. Smart kid's menu choices and nice selection of mixed drinks. Great place for the fam or for a simple date.

Good food, not great, easy parking and seating at off hours, helpful staff, nice atmosphere, a little pricey.

Arriba Abajo as you walked in just gave me all the vibes of a happening place when you want to hang out with friends and have a great time. We ordered the braised ribs rolled tacos for appetizers. It was so fresh and kicking' with all kinds of flavors. I wish I had ordered another one. The avocado sauce layered on the bottom was just enough to keep wanting more. For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Our server was a delight and took very good care of us. We didn't order any of their alcoholic beverages since we were both working, but definitely we will be back to enjoy more food and try out their beverages.

So we were thinking of tacos or Mexican food and my daughter suggested this spot as she had come here with some friends and really enjoyed their sopecitos. I had never had a sopecito! What is that! So we had to try... We were lucky to arrive at the right time (9 pm!) where we got their last table!! Make reservations or something because this is another one of those places that fills up! So- we were taken care of immediately: chips and some very hot salsas were set on the table while we chose. They menu is in QR code format, but we asked and got paper menus as well. Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. Next time I will try some other delicacies since I always get tacos tacos burritos or quesadillas: time for some new items on the menu! Enjoy!

Music was so loud in the back room areas that you could not even have a conversation with others at your table. When I asked to have the music turned down, I was ignored. Varied menu. Daily special/additions. Everything you might want in an interior Mexican restaurant. Frozen margaritas are world class ... best anywhere! The Miguel platter is a wonderful way to start off. Guacamole is best in town. Tasty lamb chops. Must have black beans! I had the pork chop which is a treat! My wife had crab enchiladas, a special, and said they were delicious (with suiza sauce). Beef dishes were a hit too. Too much sauce, and it completely drowned out the taste of the crab. My dad got the ancho relleno San Miguel, and I was so jealous. His dish was absolutely divine, incredibly good. I wish I'd ordered that instead. We tried both the watermelon margarita and the house frozen margarita. The watermelon was delicious, but it came in a small glass with a huge ice cube, so for the price you really don't get much drink. I'd order it again if it came in a bigger glass. The house frozen margarita, though, was delicious and strong, and much better value. For dessert, we had the crepas de cajeta. It was tasty, but it came topped with a generous amount of Nutella, which surprised me since the menu mentions caramel, not Nutella. I'd have preferred the caramel, and I'm guessing they may have run out, which would explain the swap. I just wish they'd mentioned it before serving it, since it changed the dish for me. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back.
