Took one bite, and holy crap, this was good. Seriously one of the best tasting burgers I've had, especially from a gas station. Just the right amount of grease to give it a really good, seasoned flavor. I know the fries were frozen, but they were cooked right and seasoned properly. All-in-all, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very accommodating to our large family and got the food out very quickly. The menu is a little limited as most of the options were on the catering menu, but we were all able to find something enjoyable and they took great care of us. It was clean and nice inside - too wet to check out the outside options but looked nice for a different day. I had the "Hot Mess" which was a baked potato with brisket and then they let me customize to leave the onions and jalapeños off. It was tasty and the meat was good. My husband had a chopped brisket sandwich and some sliced sausage which he said both were good. We got my son a half chicken which was fine but a little drier than he would have liked. Overall we are just thankful at how nice they were to make sure we all got what we needed and even offered refills before we headed back out. We drive this way on the way to the beach every summer and now know a good place to stop for lunch on the way!
