First I love that we actually got to meet Truett. He was very friendly and equally serious about his craft. Chatted us up nicely and fixed our order fast. We got a sausage link wrap and a pulled pork sandwich - both were delicious. Sausage was meaty in a nice casing with mild but pleasing seasoning. My (plain) pulled pork sandwich was solid. Served on a soft/ warm bun, you could taste the freshness/ quality - no gritty bites. This may sound strange but it was one of the smoothest pulled pork sandwiches I've eaten. The blend of BBQ sauce to pork was ideal. I don't like my meat overly drenched in sauce.
