We went to this bike shop on a Sunday - it was an urgent matter. We thought the bike had a busted chain and we needed the bike fixed for my son to get to school the next day, the owner was super nice, he explained that what we thought was the problem wasn't even the issue but he was able to fix it right away, he didn't try to sell us on extra things we didn't need like all the other bike shops we have been to. I came in to repair my back tire because the tire was worn and the tube popped. The owner (Hector) was really nice and sociable. He gave me the price up front for the repair and told me that it'd be ready in 30 minutes. I was going to the gym right after dropping off my bike and he had no problem holding it for the hour I was away. He was attentive to the front tire as well without being asked. Amazing guy. Took my bike in for a tune up. Bike hadn't been tuned up since purchase in 2002. Once I got the bike back, it rides near new. I was about to purchase a $600 bike but Hector saved me some cash!!! Tune up only cost $60. Far cheaper than the other places I contacted: Incycle and REI. Be prepared to wait a bit on your bike to be worked on. With COVID it seems like lots of people are purchasing/repairing bikes. read more

I gotta give Hector 2-stars for now because I had a bike assembled (partly) just the rear derailleur and chain.. He set a specific time to pick it up so we were there exactly that time. But when we got there it wasn't finished so we just waited and took 2 more hours. I asked if he can give us a discount since it was 2hrs late and we were being charged $60(Expensive AF) he said no because he was busy that's why it was late... We would have appreciated it if he texted or called us ahead of time if he knew he won't be able to finish it on the time he set. Another thing, when I brought the bike there the front disc was rubbing on the brakes.. when we got the bike it was still rubbing and then Hector told be it was the reflector that was making the noise. Im no bike expert but I know it wasnt the reflector it was the disc brake. Then he just said "oh it's normal since the bike is new". We just paid and left... 1. It would have been different if he just told us ahead of time that he wont finish it on time. 2. We brought the bike there Thursday and he said to pick it up Monday 6pm (that was a long time) 3. He could have at least sounded apologetic and not kind of rude. 4. We could have looked for a cheaper place to have the bike assembled but he was the only one accepting jobs that time.. bad decision on our part We have been to his shop before and it was a good experience. But this time it wasn't and I'm not sure if we will be bringing our bikes there again. read more

Business hours says 11am-7pm on Monday. I parked my car and looked at the time on my dash, says 11:07am. Slowly I see those 4 people all disappeared. I decided to wait it out .
