Purchased some $700 profile hubs on their online store . After going back and forth Through emails for almost a week these guys finally said that they dont have them in stock . Like what . A whole week just tell someone it isnt in stock ? Garbage . We came here at 1:30pm on a Friday to get my bike repaired. But there was a sign that said will be back at 2pm. So my kids and I decided to wait and shop at the thrift store next door. We came back at 2:20pm with another sign saying they will be back at 4pm. It's very annoying when potential customers are here at the said times they say they are open. I worked for a bike shop for several years. Whenever we sold a new bike, our mechanics always gave it a once over to ensure everything was tightened, adjusted and working flawlessly. I assumed that would be the case here, too. NOPE. I bought an Elite Destro BMX. The guy who sold it offered to pump up the tires. He pumped them what seemed to be a lot, but I assumed he knew what he was doing. NOPE. I got the bike home, excited to try it out. The handlebars were loosely adjusted and dropped down first time off a curb. I almost crashed. Tightened the handlebars properly myself. Later, took it to a skate park for my first ride out. WHILE RIDING UP to the skate park, the front tire blew out. Did I get to ride it? NOPE. I took the bike back to Stacked. (They opened a half hour late.) I told the guy who sold me the bike what had happened. I asked if he could throw in a new tire. He said "I would but we are all out of that size." I said I didn't know if it was overinflated or what. He said it was probably overinflated, then suggested I had asked him to keep pumping it up more and more and he didn't want to say anything to me. F***ing NOPE! He told me I could go to Walmart and buy a tire and bring it back and they would install it for me. Or I could come in next Monday and see if they had gotten any tubes in. NOPE. Communication is key in times of uncertainty. I would say stay away for ordering a bike from this company, IT IS TERRIBLE. They took my $500. Missed my shipping date and do not answer their phones or respond to emails like their website says they will (with in 1 day). Some communication could have detoured this rating. Also they have the time to post daily on their Facebook page telling people RIGHT NOW they have same day tune ups and aggressive advertising to sell more bikes.... I really wanted to like this bike shop, but after my experience, I will try my best to warn anyone who will listen to stay away! I purchased a new bike from Stacked since they were the only ones to have a bike in stock. I purchased the bike and was told that it would be put together in about an hour. An hour later, I went to pick it up and noticed that it was being built by a KID. 11-12 years old maybe? I thought that was odd since most bike manufacturers require assembly from a Certified Bike Mechanic. This bike is a 2021 Haro Downtown. I took possession of the bike and walked it to my truck. When I got home, I decided to give it a try around the block and when I proceeded to ride off a curb, the handlebars slid completely forward, causing me to crash! (I ended up going to urgent care the next day with a bruised patella) I got up and and took my bike into my garage only to find out that every bolt on the bike was either loose or hand tightened at best! Now I wanted to give the shop the benefit of the doubt since the owner seemed to be a nice guy, but when I entered the store, one of the employees (I think his name is Mike) started to get upset with my claims that the bike wasn't properly built. He said things like "how do you know that the person who built your bike isn't a professional mechanic?" and that "bmx'ing is dangerous" Really?!?!? At this point, I knew that conversation would go nowhere and I requested that the owner contact me. I haven't heard from anyone. Do yourself a favor and if you need anything that is BMX related, go anywhere other than here! read more

DON'T EVER BUY A BIKE HERE I am having the worse experience with a business Ive ever had in my entire life. It took me 3 months to get my bike. The reason it took so long is cause they shipped it all the way to the east coast and it went to 31 different states and took a full month to get to me. And when I got the bike it was all damaged. When I called the bike shop and tried to work something out to get my bike fixed the guy that works with the online orders is going completely out of his way to refuse to help me get my bike fixed. First he wanted me to send him pictures and show him the damages and when I did all that all he had to say was that the damages "didn't look that bad". I also tried to return the bike back to them and the guy told me I had to ship it back to them even though i live 45 mins away from them he wanted me to spend a additional 100 dollars on shipping just to get my money back. Then after all that he told me I shouldn't even have called them and ask them for a refund cause FedEx damaged the package and told me the best thing for me to do was file a claim with FedEx. Now I am filing a claim with FedEx and I was told by FedEx that I need to get the bike shop to give up the rights to file a claim against FedEx so FedEx wont get screwed by 2 people and when i called the bike shop to speak to the owner the guy that deals with the online orders REFUSES to let me speak to the owner and now this moron is telling me they are going to file a claim and they are going to get the money that I was trying to get to fix my bike. So the guy that deals with the online orders is taking the option for me to even get my bike fixed on my own terms. Once he found out that money was involved he became interested. I keep asking this guy questions and he doesn't even bother to answer me. WORST BIKE SHOP EVER. If i could put negative stars i would this place is the worse business and they treat the customers TERRIBLE. The worst online customer service Or meaning lack of!!! I ordered a bike in April. Their website said ships on may 30th nothing no confirmation off shipment. Then I emailed they said June 15th. Once again no email or update. I check their website it says June 30th for shipping date. I called them straight to voice mail!! I emailed them a bunch of times so they can cancel the order. No response. Next thing I did was contact PayPal to file a dispute. Hopefully they can get my money back!!! Stay away from their site. City grounds is a better reliable site. Took 2 bikes in, one for a brake job, another because it was skipping. Larry is a knowledgeable and honest guy. I was expecting to replace the drive train on the bike but Larry checked it out and said it only needed adjusting. He easily could have left me replacing the whole drive train and charging more than the adjustment. The work was done fast and I was back to riding by the next day. The guy with the orange teeth and long hair is the rudest mother fucker I've encountered in a long time. I took my bike on the 26th of March to get it fixed. I was asking some basic questions and some how he took it like I was asking a "how to guide" on bike fixing for free or something. Somewhere in the dialogue he told me to look it up on YouTube. I couldn't believe he said that. To make a long story short I bypassed the cluelessness this 29 year old possessed and left my bike there. Bike was fixed and he left my seat super high when he knew I didn't have tools to adjust it. I had to buy an 'L' wrench kit at auto-zone to get it adjusted to the original height I had it on. When I picked my bike up I dropped off my sons BMX style bike. Orange teeth made it a point to let me know it was a lower quality bike, I digressed and proceeded to pay and took a picture of both receipts. I went back today to pick up my sons bike and once he attended me he claimed I hadn't paid a balance and still owed roughly $70. I told him I paid and took pictures of the receipts he wrote out by hand and showed him the receipts but he said it wasn't enough so luckily I had records of the payment through my electronic card statement. Before I walked out I noticed the back break was really close to the wheel and I asked if that would be an issue since that's the reason why I brought it in, plus I remember how he inconvenienced me by leaving my other bike's seat really high. He arrogantly stated something along the lines of, "you see it moving right?" I told him I was just asking a simple question because it looks super close. He told me he didn't have time for this like last time, and just walked away as I left the shop. Bro, did someone smash your girl or something? Is this why you have a massive stick up your ass? Work on your people skills, if you have a communication handicap there's assistance programs for that. You're rude, pretentious, and just over all a shitty person in my experience with you. This bike shop does not have loyal employees. I took my boyfriends bikes in to get the tires fixed because they kept going flat and they charged us to replace the tube on the tires which we didn't mind if that's what the bikes needed but really all they did was put air in it and said they fixed it. All they did was take advantage and over charge us. We will definitely not be going back if this is the type of service they provide. read more
