They took just 20 minutes and while I waited inside the nice air conditioned gift shop I enjoyed a great cup of coffee and bought my favourite ozium air freshener! I bought a monthly membership andonly used it twice because both times it was a terrible job. I notice to scratch after the first time and pointed it out to them. They denied it was their fault. They said they take very good care of their brushes. I took it back a second time as I took their word. I lifted it up the rear hatch of my Porsche SUV to show them where they didn't vacuum. When I lifted it up, there was no scratch. I noticed the next day. I have a scratch on the hatch. I canceled my membership. I now read the reviews where other people are having the same issue. Then the second time I asked the lady decided to check, come to find my car has been sitting outside with the keys in it. Absolute worst car wash I have ever received. Exterior of the car was covered in streaks. The vacuums there must have zero suction. I swear I think the interior of my car was actually cleaner before I went there. I think they took my floor mats and shook sand all over my seat and did not bother to clean it up. I will never go back here again. Amazes me this place stays in business. I wish I would have checked yelp before going. There is also a coffee shop attached where you walk in and wait for your car. When I say "terrible", I really mean "absolutely horrible". Do yourself a favor and do NOT come here. I have come here on and off for about 3 years and I'm not sure why since every car wash except for the very 1st has been awful. Unfortunately, it's taken me awhile to learn my lesson but I finally have. I got a car detail here and a hand car wash and to no surprise, the car was still dirty. But the real kicker, there was a giant crack in my windshield. In all honesty, there was already a crack BUT it was tiny. I mean it was entirely cosmetic but after? It was huge. The crack went vertical about 2/3 of the windshield height and another crack running horizontally, just about the entire length of the windshield. I was obviously very upset and wanted answers but there was no one there to help. The car wash supervisor said he would look at cameras for the crack and offered to clean the car again after I pointed out 18 dirty spots on the inside and outside of the car. I told him no and that I didn't want another attempt at a car wash. I left 2 messages for the owner that day, hoping he would reach back out to me (he never did). For the next week, I kept calling and asking for the owner but he was never in. Quite odd if you ask me, you're the owner of a business and for 7 days you don't go to your business? Especially after hearing there was damage to a customer's car? I think I gave him more than enough time to reach out so we can take care of this but seems like he has other plans. They rushed through the entire thing and when I saw the inside, it literally looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all, like they completely forgot to vacuum and wipe everything down. It was actually laughable. When I mentioned some spots that were clearly still dirty, they did a little "touch up" to make it look like they did something. I got in the car and the whole ride home I was noticing areas that were literally untouched, including my dash, in between my seats, my cup holders. I paid for a $30 wash and I went home and finished the job myself. I will never come here again. The employees rush you out and don't care about the details. This place was so good a dozen years ago. I used to come twice weekly. I moved away and recently moved back. And I've been there four times and I'm super underwhelmed. They don't have somebody like that old dude who used to be out there, making sure the cars were perfect. I don't go to pelican car wash as often as I should, so my car is generally filthy when I get there. They always do a great job scrubbing my car (including the wheels). Everyone there is always polite and friendly, and the waiting room is clean and quiet (you can also wait outside if you prefer). I think the prices are pretty reasonable for the south Florida area. I've never had a bad experience here, and nobody has ever tried to sign me up for a monthly package (beyond someone telling me that there is a monthly package if I'm interested). I'd recommend Pelican Car Wash. read more

I have been coming here since 2005, and this is the worst they have ever been. There was once an older African American man that worked there on detail and he made sure that every car that pulled out of that lot was immaculate. To the point where if I didn't see him, I didn't even stop. But he doesn't work there any more and my loyalty keeps me coming back, but after today, I am done. For over $40 I should not have to tell someone that they missed several spots. I may as well detail my car myself. They are understaffed and for what they charge they definitely need to make some improvements. I will not be returning. I am literally about to wipe down the inside of my car. They do a decent job cleaning the car and wiping it down. The employees are friendly enough however, given that it's a car wash that is automated you have to pull in a certain way to have your tire fit in the track and during this process my boyfriends front left rim on his brand new car was scratched and clearly visible when it came out of the car wash. We brought this to their attention and they were not willing to accept responsibility for this. They offered a free wash but that was nowhere near the equivalent to the price of fixing the rim. They do a good wash, but given that if anything gets damaged they won't take responsibility or fix it, I'd recommend coming here at your own risk. read more

I pulled in and the employee at the gate was polite and helped me pick a wash, after that I pulled through and then got out of my vehicle where another employee came and got in. I stood there to watch for a minute but I'm guessing they didn't see me for what happens next. I hear them revving my car, not lightly either. I have been looking for a good interior/exterior car wash in the Palm Bech area and stumbled across Pelican Car Wash. They offered decently low prices and their services seemed to be just what I needed (priorities for me were vacuumed/wiped down interior and clean wheels and tires). The service was relatively quick and painless and the actual building/area is pretty cool (some photography work is displayed as you walk in to register area). The employees were all professional and friendly and I had no issues with the customer service I received from Pelican Car Wash. I am, however, disappointed with the state of my car when I left. The car wash was a decent price so I wasn't expecting a perfectly spotless car but I did purchase the silver package was which includes interior cleaning, exterior wash, and tire/wheel cleaning. There was still dust/dirt on the interior display screen of my car and on my dashboard. My wheels looked cleaner than they were when I brought my car in but definitely not clean (I will have to finish cleaning them myself). It's not a huge deal but I definitely don't feel that I was provided the service that I paid for and will probably just do it myself next time. read more

I asked the young man at the desk If there was anyone there, that could possibly help me with my problem. Against my better judgment I went back to Pelican Car Wash and once again was disappointed. I get into my car after paying $25 for exterior and interior and this is what I found: They vacuumed the inside of my car but didn't remove the mats. The main reason I took my car in was for them to vacuum it. And they couldn't even get that right. My seats were not fully vacuumed because the crumbs were still there from my 5 year old nephew. The center console was not wiped down properly. The outside of my car...there was dirt still all around my license plate. And when you open all of the doors, there is still dirt around it. You see them wiping the inside but.... I don't know what they're wiping. They just don't take that extra step. It's the worse car wash I have been to but I don't know if any close by. Water spots. Why am I leaving a car wash with water spots on it. And my side mirrors Terrible place. They just don't do a good job and I'm tired of saying...one more time..it never fails but they do. read more

Joked with the finishing guy that he left his bottle of cleaner in car and gave it to him, smiled, said thanks. All was fine & good. Got into my car to drive away and interior was a good job yet windshield wasn't clean inside or outside. Politely asked for finishing touch and it was handled no problem. Due to that, I then went to see if anything else might be needing attention. My older car has some chips in the paint on hood about size of cupcake sprinkles due to highway driving conditions. I knew that. When I looked at front to see if most of the bugs from highway driving were cleaned off and asked if there was any special treatment to get more removed because it's a difficulty for me also, I noticed that two sections of paint as large as my fingers were missing in hood. Not mentioned to me. I calmly mentioned it to them. We agreed nicks, chips existed on the hood. I maintained that agreement. An incident report was written while I took a phone call. We resumed speaking. *I again agreed that small chips pre-existed. I asked if this is the result expected of a car wash if any car has any chip.* I was instead informed that their staff handles cars all day including very expensive ones. My question was not answered. I concluded the conversation, departed. My car is older. I never asked for any indemnification, freebie, damages and still do not seek such. read more
