Food is pretty damn good and if you walk away hungry then I suggest you get checked for tapeworm. It's a bit on the pricey side, so I only stop in a few times a year, but that's ok because this is not the type of place that anyone should frequent unless you don't care about your weight or cholesterol. The decor was adorable and the waitress was a pro. Portions were grand and food was very good. BBQ burger and pulled pork although messy was a very good sandwich. Large portion of fries and the Scottish fries are to die for. Overall this is a very good place to grab a hearty meal. Even the salads was crispy. Three or four steps above a diner. When you come here for that dense central pennsylvanian hangover breakfast, you can furthur suppress those regretfull saturday night memories with their 8 beers on tap. Great ambiance, great folks... weird jokes from the cooks. I came in today for a relaxing brick of scrapple and walked out with the brady bunch theme song stuck in my head because the main man is still stuck in the 70s and singing it proudly. 10/10 would return. -1 star for not serving beer earlier than 7 am. read more

Keeters drive in breakfast sandwiches are delicious. We were looking for a good breakfast sandwich and the Boiling Point coffee shop in Danville recommended Keeters. This seems a family-run place with that small-town feel. Ribbed my husband for being a Red Sox fan. Egg sandwiches were like a work of art: cheese melted just right and in the middle of the egg to make for easy in-car eating. Homemade biscuits, people! Find yourself in Danville, stop at Keeters. They have a neat 50's deco café. Hamburgers are really good. However they don't seem to be able to listen when placing an order over the phone. Twice now my order has been wrong. Would strongly recommend eating in and not ordering for pick up. I work at the hospital and unfortunately I have now taken them off my list of places to order from. read more

Saw this place on yelp and knew that my choices for a non chain kid family restaurant in Danville would few. This place was great! Our waitress, despite the fact that you could tell hated every second of having to be at work on Sunday did a great job. If she would have cracked a smile even once they would have received five stars. But besides that the reason we were their, the food. I had a spicy ranch and onion ring burger that was awesome. The fries were good but could have been better. My wife split a chicken small cheese steak (12 inch yes that is a small) with a friend and they both loved it. Kids meal came out in A cool cardboard box shaped like a mustang that my youngest son went crazy about. So wanted desert but was to stuffed to even try. Great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. First time. Stopped for breakfast. Flies, flies, flies. Too many damn flies. Couldn't enjoy my meal. Was too busy chasing flies off my legs, arms, food. Will not return unless something is done. Food was typical for breakfast. Coffee cup was dirty. Had to ask for another. Waitress acted like she knew there was an ongoing problem with the dirty cups. Food was nothing to write home about. Great cheese steaks, however, if you want good service, go during the day. We've gone three times in the evening and were served by high schoolers who were less than good. One time, we called in for a pick up and the person that took the order never wrote it down. They tried saying we had called the wrong place. I've eaten here many times, but as quality has degraded drastically in the last year or so, I am about done with it. The food itself is VERY overpriced--for example, I paid $15.58 for 3 large ice cream cones once. The quality of the food has dropped--so much grease and sogginess... Basically, this was a once great place when it opened up, but Scott Heeter has let it degrade or no longer cares about prices and quality. Very sad to see. read more

I was visiting beautiful Danville for a weekend bike tour with a large group. Two of us stopped here after a bike ride on Saturday. I was surprised to be charged $6.36 for a small root beer float. I should have said something to the girl but was too embarrassed. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a small cup (12-16 oz) of root beer. I'm sure I was ripped off as it didn't match the price list on the board, nor the prices on the website when I checked after returning to the hotel. Either I was rung up for 2 floats or charged for something else but I was overcharged nonetheless. I will not return again and they need more competent help! read more

Everything was extremely cheap in price and quality. Very dated in appeared grungy. Needs serious updating. I understand the style of a drive in but this isn't it. The best part of our visit was the server we had who was very sweet and attentive. Large portions and cheap prices are not always a good thing. read more

UPDATE!!! March 2016 Went to Heeter's about a week ago... Now this is the SECOND time this has happen and my family and close friends who were with us will not be back! The big fat male cook was loud and rude to his fellow coworkers/employees. So loud it was hard to hear ourselves talk. Last time we were in this guy was also very loud... Like he needs to be heard. I don't care if he's the owner it's still bad business. If he's just an employee than shut up and do your job! And don't nag on the people you work with. On top of that he didn't wear gloves while cooking our food and touching his phone constantly!!! Nor did he wash his hands! HEETERS HELP IS GETTING WORSE!!! WHERE IS ALL YOUR NORMAL COOKS AND WAIT STAFF?! Because the service wasn't good either. We didn't have the server we always for lunch! For years! And the nice lady cook has not been around either!!! Good food and SERVICE is a key to bringing back customers! And a nice/quiet atmosphere! We will now be supporting Hunter's even though you are closer! read more
