What I really appreciate is how Heidi walks you through the whole process. She finds the right balance between giving you tips on what outfits to bring, and letting you choose your own style. This was my first boudoir photo shoot. It has been on my bucket list for sometime. The reason for the delay is finding the right person to take photos and learn what is included. I met Heidi at a bridal expo in July 2023. I loved her presentation. She was friendly and approachable. Her package deals were reasonable especially that it included a person who will do your hair and makeup the day of the shoot. Major plus for me! Once I booked my appointment, Heidi was super professional, friendly, and sweet. We spoke over the phone and video chat. She constantly emails you with tips and suggestions before your photo shoot which is great. For example lingerie shops suggestions and the dos and don't for the shoot. During the session I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable. She guides you on how to pose and is open to new ideas. She plays music of your choice to make you feel comfortable. After a while my confidence had boosted especially seeing some pictures. She allows a few sneak peeks which I like. Definitely, trust the process. Afterwards, about a week later we met online again and the pictures were gorgeous!! I loved them so much and the package deals are not bad at all. I received my album and I love it. Forgot to mention you can customize the cover of your album which I think makes it extra special. I found out about Heidi by doing an online search and fortunately it turned out to be a great experience. I wanted to do something for myself to help my confidence. Heidi answered all of my questions throughout the entire process (I had a lot of them) and made sure I felt comfortable. I appreciated that she gave me room to be a little more risque (for me). I didn't know what to expect price-wise but it was higher than I anticipated. It turned out to be worth it for me because I felt comfortable and prepared throughout every step of the process. I do wish I could have had access to the full price list beforehand but even-so, I thought I was going to land on the lower end because I didn't imagine I would love as many photos as I did. I met with Heidi last week to update my headshots. I was missing a few specific looks and was hoping she could help me capture them. I'm super picky about my headshots! I've had bad ones from when I was younger and I've also had great ones. And everything in between! And I was THRILLED with my day with Heidi. She was great because she really listened to what I was looking for and after each new look we would take a few photos and review them so I immediately knew if something was off (like my shirt collar or hair style) this is super helpful as I've gone whole headshot sessions with some weird hair the person never told me about. She was patient with me as I'm a perfectionist. And even when she found an awesome lighting option I loved she let me reshoot my favorite shirt in them and they were AWESOME shots. Her personality is great to work with. Kind and open. Skilled with a camera, but flexible to my styling and testing out of ideas! I hired Heidi to be my photographer for my proposal for my now to be Fiance. I could not be happier with her services and how the photos turned out! She was always super responsive whenever I needed to talk to her. When I was planning my proposal she spent time talking to me on the phone to give me very good recommendations on how to do the proposal. Heidi is such a talented photographer. I'm not a fan of taking pictures but knew our wedding needed to be documented and she did an AMAZING job at making us look great! The entire time she made sure we were comfortable. She even saw the pain in my face from the heels I was wearing and totally made me feel guilt free in just taking them off and taking pics barefoot. The most unprofessional person I have ever met. I won a free engagement shoot from her. 2 days before the date of the shoot, she pulled "oh just so you know you have to pay for my travel." If you would have told me that from the beginning I would have said, fine. I get it, you are giving me a free shoot, I'll pay 50 bucks for your gas. But to do it 2 days before the shoot, after we at first scheduled this weeks ago, soooooo unprofessional. We had to reschedule the shoot, because something came up. So when we reschedule it for the 2nd time, she reaches out 2 days before again and completely cancels. Says "She is going out of town." And then doesn't even offer other dates. What do you mean, going out of town? Like you know when you are going out of town well in advance. AVOID AT ALL COST! read more
