Jeremy is the most dishonest person I have ever contracted work with. He sent a crew of guys to sod my yard in April. I have a 6 zone irrigation system and followed their EXACT watering instructions. Grass began disappearing after 3 weeks. I called and got new watering instructions, but it did not help. Jeremy refused to come out to my house to assess the issue after spending $1600 with them and proceeded to yell at me through the phone that "IT IS YOUR FAULT THE GRASS IS DEAD NOT MINE". After multiple conversations he agreed to re-sod 2 pallets for $150 labor cost. Week after week he came up with excuses as to why he couldn't come out. After 2 months I finally realized I was being lied to and he eventually blocked my number. I drove to his "address" on 1960 which is actually a small piece of a lot that he rents on occasion. I had the land owner call him and he eventually told me "I will mail you a $300 check for your trouble". 1.5 months later and still no check or sod... This guy is a complete snake. Stay away. Update: So, now the owner has posted a response, suggesting that the failure to do the work is my fault... that I was apparently haggling for a price he couldn't do. This couldn't be further from the truth, and seems to just be an attempt to shift blame in a public review. More amusingly (to me, at least), within 24 hours of posting said response, two 5-star reviews have popped up from accounts with no friends and no other reviews. Yelp's algorithms have already flagged these reviews as "not currently recommended", but I think it speaks volumes that the business is trying to game the system, don't you? I'm reposting my review on the paid site Angie's list to ensure that it doesn't get watered down everywhere by fake accounts. read more

Jeremy is a true professional and someone who went above and beyond with the landscaping of my new home. Jeremy had his team working at my home on a Sunday just to make sure we could pass final inspections to move into the home. Looking for a landscaping company to install sod for a new home, did some reading of reviews and reached out to Heights Hauling. Was impressed of the initial response from company to get an estimate, provided with a number to text information of our property. Sent it, but no acknowledgement. Emailed the company to see if I could schedule as didn't hear from person to schedule estimate. Was told they had a rough day and will contact person to get in touch with me to schedule. Heard from them to see what time was good the following day, let him know I'd find out and text him back. I texted that night to see if 6pm would work. I text the next morning and again in the afternoon to see if 6pm would work out. I never received an acknowledgement. I reached out by email to the company so they know that I still have not received a response. This is what I got... "N o worries. We trafiionally find Difficulty in scheduling odd and late afternoon request s. I wish you the best success. " How is 6pm an odd request? Both my husband and I work. How about responding to a potential customer to let them know that may not work an offer an alternative. Guess they must have so much business they aren't interested in any new work! Jeremy planted 4 palms for us in 2016 when we completed our pool build, and we were nothing but satisfied. This year, we decided to fill in a couple of holes in the yard with a couple of specimen palms, and went right back to Jeremy. The TX hybrids he has are beautiful, and make our landscape truly unique. He's friendly, timely, and knows his palm trees, and the prices are almost too good to believe, but from experience, they promise AND deliver. If I had a bigger yard, would buy a truckload of palms from Jeremy - truly recommended! read more

This is the second time I've used Heights Hauling and Landscape (thanks to two big dogs and a small yard) and this time they saved me from myself! I called after attempting to prep and lay my own sod and realizing that it was much more difficult than I thought. Called at 11 am and they were at my house by 3 PM and done by 2 PM. Heck, they are so reasonably priced that if I had called them from the beginning they would have done all the work and saved me money! The first time I used them (over 2 years ago), they prepped the ground, and had all the sod laid and done by the time I got home from work. I had sod laid and drainage installed by a different company last spring that was improperly graded and had turned into a barren strip of dirt near my house. I looked up local companies to come redo the job and found Heights Hauling. These guys know their stuff. Jeremy was very quick to get me set up with an estimator (Chris) who was by the same day to check the job out and had a quote for me in under 30 minutes. Chris was very hands-on with the project from start to end. His crew was out the same day I agreed to the bid to begin cleanup of the existing dead grass and soil. The sod was delivered and installed by mid-day the following day. Chris came to inspect the site himself and verify the grading/quality of work. The sod that these guys use was high quality, their prices were competitive, and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The only regret I have is I didn't take before and after pics to tag in this review. read more

Jeremy and Butch were incredibly easy to work with. They explained their quote in detail and went over all the necessary steps, and the work came in exactly at the quoted price. Jeremy even did some work on my fence to allow for better drainage at no additional charge. The work was done even sooner than anticipated - they seriously exceeded my expectations. Do not use this guys service! I repeat...do not use Jeremy Goldstein!!! Stay as far away as you can. I do not even know where to begin! Jeremy does not pay attention to detail. He does not do what he says he will do. He agrees to your face and provides you a quote just to get the business and does not follow through. He installed a sprinkler system that did not work and I had to hire outside help to get it working. His landscaping is terrible. He installed a dead oak tree and tried to pass it off as normal and that I should trim it up and it will be back in good shape next year. I had an arborist tell me it was dead! LIAR!!!! He also installed a fence with no latches on the gates even though the quote said he was suppose to. He didn't install all the grass yet tried to charge me a premium fee to come back out and install grass that he quoted for install. Jeremy ended up walking on our job and honestly I was thankful since I at least knew what I was getting. Anything is better than him. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

They showed up when Jeremy said they would, completed the job and cleaned up like they weren't even here. Knowledgeable, professional and great work. Talked to Jeremy on the phone for about 20 minutes and decided to meet him at his outlet. We met Jeremy and picked out the Palm trees we wanted and set a date for install. On day of install he called and said he was delayed due to weather but showed up with full crew and the trees we had picked out. Crew worked hard and fast while keeping yard clean and debris free. Jeremy followed up with full and explicit instructions for care of palm trees. The trees were installed in April and I had not written a review until now, wanted to wait and see how the trees were going to fair. They look beautiful and healthy even with all the rain we have had this year. Follow Jeremy's advise and your palms will be as great as mine or better. Hire Jeremy and you won't be sorry. read more

The worst experience we have ever had dealing with a small business. We purchased some palm trees from this company in the summer of 2011. We were promised, in writing, before ever even purchasing the trees that there would be a 90 day rolling warranty on the trees should they show any signs of disease or distress within the initial 90 days. One of the trees never looked well from the start and was brought to Jeremy's attention very early on after planting. He agreed (again in writing) to honor the rolling warranty and replace the tree should it not recover by the spring. The spring came around and we were led to believe that he was getting the tree. Then he stopped returning phone calls and emails and when I finally did get a hold of him he called myself and my husband a bunch of swear words and refused to honor the warranty. A complaint has been filed with the BBB and we are pursuing a small claims case as well. Please stay away from this company. read more

I was initially impressed with the competitive bid and knowledge. Unfortunately, halfway through the process, I was told they misquoted, and they asked for more money. I understand that people make mistakes, so I paid the difference and hired them again. The second job, I never got a solid quote. I was told a round figure, and that I'd get an email. They did not call, email, or show up. Then they showed up with no warning (two weeks later), did the work, and said the cost was 1200 more than we discussed. I was not even EXPECTING them! They said someone cancelled a job because they were a day or two late. I asked them to stop early because I could not afford the "new" estimate they came up with, and still paid 600 more than discussed, because I was afraid if I didn't, I would regret it. I do not recommend this company. They could be great, but I believe they quote base on how much they THINK they'll be able to get from the customer, and not a true estimate. read more
