You can check in at 3 PM with no surcharge. I am a rewards member and never had an issue checking in early. It should not matter if I am a rewards member or not. Got my room keys then went to my room after checking in there was a mist in the air, a maid shows up an said this room was out of service. Needless to say back to the front desk, where we were assigned another room, I requested to have the manager come speak to me about the early check-in procedure. Needless to say the manager never showed up and eventually I found out he was never informed. You must request service for you room at the front desk hopefully they write it down, came back at 4 PM and the room was not cleaned at around 6 PM the manager showed up and apologized for the screw ups of his front desk staff. We shall see how this goes the rest of our stay here. We are staying 8 days and only half way thru the stay. Breakfast was not great mediocre at best, if you like watery egg hits and grits you are in like Flynn. Just not a large selection of choices for breakfast. Checked out with no issue, Manager did me a solid and did not share me a pet fee for my stay so I can assume it was because of the mess up with the room cleaning. Despite me arriving in the morning, they had my room waiting for me, which was a relief because i traveled for about 17 hours (government travel, I tell you). Each room has a kitchenette. I requested a king size bed. There is also a TV area with a couch and coffee table. I requested for my room to be clean Mondays and Thursdays. The room is clean, well-lit and spacious. The staff is ever so helpful especially because I was one of those guests who always had an Amazon package waiting for me. There is continental breakfast with coffee, juice or water. There is H.E.B. for your grocery needs (especially if you're meal prepping). There are nearby eats but the weather is hot, so I sometimes did Uber eats or Door dash if I didn't have the rental car. This Inn does take care of their guests and will make sure your stay is comfortable.

Bottle feeding the kangaroo was so fun too- little Dundee was SO soft and loved all the pets, even gave us kisses! The giraffes were super friendly and greeted us every time we were nearby; feeding and getting quality time with them was an extra treat. The safari ride tour was also amazing- 5 of us fit comfortably and got to feed/see lots of animals that we wouldn't normally get to experience. We were surprised at how this place wasn't crowded at all in the middle of July when it is peak vacation season, so it really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.
