    Tasting

It continues to be an incredible place. Staff and food are beyond incredible. Have been here several times and never disappoints. Welcoming and casual yet classy atmosphere makes this place feel warm and welcoming. Food rivals any 5 star restaurant in a big city. Definitely worth the hype.

My husband and I were lucky enough to score a reservation at Heirloom to celebrate our anniversary. What an amazing experience that rivaled our tasting menu experience at a Michelin Star restaurant in Italy. Very friendly staff and chef. Would highly recommend, definitely a treat!

Had an amazing date night at Preacher's Son. Service was incredible!! We loved our server (Natalie…read moreI think?) and the drinks were strong and delicious. I loved the interior and how it was decorated. The grilled cheese was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Definitely wouldn't be enough if there were more than 2 people at the table though. The pork porterhouse was good, the butter on top really gave the meat its flavor. The pasta was amazing. Great portion sizes for both. Overall: amazing classy dinner spot in NWA, would definitely come back!

The entrance is a bit hidden, as you'll need to walk up a set of stairs to reach the entrance. When you arrive you'll check in with the host before being seated. While there were a few open tables, we were seated tightly in between two groups despite the restaurant being partially full, which definitely took away from the experience. The environment is one of the restaurant's highlights. It is housed in a beautiful restored church. For drinks I ordered the Blood Orange Buck (bourbon, spiced maple, blood orange cider, mint, citrus) which was a well balanced and a fun take on an old fashioned. To start we shared the Burrata (grilled flatbread, green goddess, roasted garlic). While the flavors were good, the portion was surprisingly small and felt underwhelming for the price. For my entree, I ordered a pasta carbonara dish which had good flavor but again the portion size was small like the appetizer. Overall, the quality of food and presentation were strong, and the setting is worth seeing (would lean more towards drinks). However, between the small portions and the seating arrangement, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. While I'm glad I tried it, I don't see myself returning.

We started with the shrimp toast and it was good, but there were so many other appetizers that sounded amazing that I'd probably try something different next time. Both of our steaks were unfortunately undercooked. I ordered mine medium and it came out medium rare, and my fiancé ordered medium rare but his was very rare. I mentioned mine to our waiter and they were great about taking it back to cook it more, but at this price point for a steakhouse, I really don't want to have to send a steak back. My fiancé ended up not finishing his so we could cook it more at home. The creamed spinach wasn't my favorite, it was a bit runnier and not as rich as I personally prefer. The potatoes were delicious. We ordered one dessert and then were surprised with another for our anniversary, and both were amazing. The sundae was definitely the standout. Overall, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Just wish the steaks had been cooked correctly the first time.
