Don't ever go here. Beware. Bought tires for my wife's Lexus. Easy to buy. Went back for a rotation after 5k miles, and Kenny said the racks were full and come back tomorrow morning. I did and he literally chased me out of the place yelling at me that he had no rack space after he asked me to come back from the previous day. Now, I have to pay for rotations as I won't go back there. He is a very poor businessman and he cares nothing about his customers. Do not do business with Blue Ridge Tire. read more

I called for a question about my tires and after my question he got upset and rejected to offer me his service to take off my tires off my wheels and to go somewhere else because he's not going to do it. I believe customer service is an important factor when running a business but I don't believe anyone should get mad at someone else over a question. I did come there before for an inspection before and only one person made me feel welcome and he worked at the shop but everyone else was not welcoming at all. read more

Today was the second time my daughter (a JMU student) brought her car into Kenny at Blue Ridge Tire. The first was a couple of months ago due to a tire light that lit up the day before she was to leave for home. A friend of a friend in the area recommended Blue Ridge hands down, and we were glad that she did. Kenny personally took care of the problem (just low air) and her return home was uneventful. When I was new to the area in 2011, a friend recommended Blue Ridge Tire. I have had inspections, brake repairs, a whole set of new tires (and another due soon) and repairs large and small. Recently, I had just had an oil change and a hose fixed but a few days later, the "Check Tires" light came on. I stopped by on my way home from an exercise class. Although they were busy, they checked all tires including the spare (which has a habit of triggering the warning). I had a two-inch screw stuck in the left front tire. The repair was reasonably priced, and they worked me in without an appointment. No wonder they are always busy. read more

A+ shop here. I was looking for a set of tires same day in Harrisonburg and didn't want to order anything. I must have called 5 shops before these guys and I regret not calling them first. Not only did they have a huge selection in stock, they even went across town and picked up the Cooper tires I wanted before I even showed up to the door. Excellent customer service. When I asked Kenny questions on tires for my truck he gave me no b.s. answers and helpful advice. He helped me choose the right set for my use. They immediately got to work on the truck. Tire mounting, balancing, and an oil change took less than an hour. Great service. I recently had a different shop install two new CV axles on my truck and the guys at Blue Ridge Tire took me out into the shop and warned me that the other guys installed it all wrong. I immediately took it over and had the original shop give me two new axles and install it right! Thanks for that. Saved me a lot of headache before it got worse. Price was great too. $50 for a full synthetic oil change on a Hemi Ram truck! Best price I've ever paid. I was out the door with 4 tires and the oil change for around $750. Couldn't be any happier. Keep it up guys. I told my father to stop by because he is looking for a new set of tires for his 2500 Silverado. I'm sure you will hook him up too. read more

My uncles are both in the car industry and told me to take my car to Blue Ridge Tire since they know the owner. So I've given them my business since I was a JMU student starting in 2012. I even told all of my roommates and teammates to take their cars there! Their service and prices were always great! However, this particular time my husband and I stopped in for an oil change. Before I entered the store, I moved some spare cash into my center console (because I'm very organized and everything has its place). With the placement of the money being fresh in my mind, I checked the center console when I picked my car up and it was gone. We called the shop, not to complain (because honestly it wasn't much money), but to make them aware that it had happened. The man on the phone didn't apologize and got defensive. Even after assuring him that we were certain, he questioned whether or not we were mistaken. We didn't want reimbursement (because we know none of the workers would fess up), but we would have easily been satisfied with an apology, an "I believe you", and an "I'll try my best to get to the bottom of this". What started as no big deal transformed into a disappointment due to the lack of good customer service to handle the situation. We're sorry Blue Ridge Tire, but we don't think we'll be coming back or recommending your shop anymore. read more

I just want you guys to realize that customer appreciation and just courtesy is important in this world. whoever the young man in the thick glasses is was just outright rude when I came in. Im assuming he is the manager and may be the one reading these complaints. So if you are you need to realize that customers talk and you cant be condescending to people when they come into your establishment. I was made to feel as if I wasn't worthy enough to be your customer which is a weird feeling and will never come to get work done in your shop and will let people know what kind of man you are. This place is a joke. Could not give me pricing over phone for mounting and balancing of tires which should not be questionable as it's something done everyday and then when I drive there the owner comes out and makes a fuss over the tires I want to put on because they are not the same exact size being a 195/65/15 compared to a 205/70/15. Don't waste your time with this place. I think they forget that to gain a loyal customer you need to provide the service the customer seeks. read more
