Wanted coffee and what best than having a Starbucks in your way. Rt 1 ! Nice location but on the corner .. wish the shop wasn't on the corner because it sometimes could be tough to turn right after a signal . Service could be much better . They are short staffed especially on weekends . Drive through was crowded .. so I went in. Ordering inside was even crazy . There was only one employee working really hard . Wish they had more employees to cover both drive through and other customers .just because they do it so fast , latte wasn't perfect . Too milky ! Didn't taste the same Latte as other locations . Thought of giving a 2 star but gave 3 stars for the hardworking employees. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks breakfast . Bagels cream cheese is bad . :( read more

To kick off my day of birthday freebies, I came to one of my local Starbucks. I was greeted by a young woman who explained that the birthday reward is eligible for any sized drink. What immediately caught my eyes was the Lavender Coconut Milk Iced Matcha. To my surprise and disappointment, I was told they were out of oatmilk. Mind you, it was only 10 am. I opted for the almond milk and a 24 oz. The order didn't take long at all. The lavender is what really elevates this drink. It's certainly something I would order again. read more

It's getting better but I once waited 10 mins to find out they didn't even start my order. Drive through is better than in store. In store is just not a priority to them when there's a line of cars. The parking lot is also cramped so just stick to driving for coffee pick ups. read more

Staff is lovely but the drinks can be very hit or miss. It seems to close very randomly too and at seemingly weird times periodically.

Who doesn't like a brand new location .... and it has a drive thru. Located on Rt 1 north at Deans Lane. Has a good size parking lot , nice size seating area inside and has some outside seating for warmer days . Not sure why they have to be by the drive up like the North Brunswick location so it's a little awkward to say the least. I kinda wished they put one of these places on Rt 1 going south but that's because I go south and pass both the north brunswick and this location and it's on the other side for me lol. Oh well. Starbucks seems to also serve sriracha but still no ketchup for their breakfast options. The drive up - is cool cuz now you can see the person talk long to you on the screen ( and they can see you but I think they can always see you - and that's funny cuz I've made faces at people taking my order in the past lol oh well ) Anyway - i has a swift visit today thru the drive up. My historical relationship with Starbucks is more transactional than anything. Get my iced coffee (grande vanilla iced coffee), add some extra vanilla powder, half and half, and maybe a packet of sugar on a splurge day. That iced coffee upgrades to trenta on a star cashout day or my birthday. With COVID-19, most of the delicacies of visiting a Starbucks are gone. For one, I can't serve myself any of those add-ons (half and half, powder, etc.). That's done on order, at the discretion of the staff (who're generally pretty good on most day). This location - a relatively newer one - is actually pretty nice on the inside. The staff are pretty nice too. Sometimes, I'd ask for the infamous Puppuccino as a treat for my sister's puppy. The parking lot is a bit tight so it can get annoying when busy. I try to go during off-peak hours because of that (i.e. afternoon coffees). In recent months, when Starbucks closed the in-store pickup option, I've mainly gone drive-thru. It's generally pretty quick and it's not that bad. Pretty easy to get in and out of drive thru, at least compared to other more tightly dense locations. I long for some of the old days though.... I miss the interaction I'd have with Starbucks employees in general and how I'd customize the add-ons. read more

Don't make the mistake I did by deciding to try the Tomato and Mozzarella Panini. It is nothing like what they show in the menu. There is hardly any Mozzarella and just a few pieces of tomato skin. They should be ashamed to serve this! When I showed it to the cashier, he said they are pre-made and shrugged his shoulders. They even messed up my Matcha Frappuccino that came in liquid form instead of frozen. Not only did they mess up a simple basic coffee order- blonde roast with cream and two pumps of caramel syrup but they also gave the coffee cup with an extremely defective lid that made it impossible to drink the coffee on the go and resulted in coffee spilling everywhere If people are going through the drive thru to pick up coffee they are going to drive as they drink it WITH the lid on. I've been here like 10 times and I'm always so impressed with how nice the staff is. Staff actually asks about your day when taking your order. Your typical Starbucks, mecca for wierdos, binarys, skinny Jean's with leather shoes and no socks....etc. However, this Starbucks gets one star because they sell bacon and egg sandwiches but dont have ketchup. I completely thought the girl was joking when she put on an over exaggerated shocked/sad face and said no we dont have ketchup ....but you can go to Wendy's(which is about a block down the highway) and get some. I stood there waiting for her to hand me a few packets until I realized that she was serious. Needless to say I wont be returning to Starbucks again. I love and hate that they added this Starbucks on Route 1 North. It makes it hard to resist getting some on my way to work, but also very convenient. The staff are always very friendly when greeting me at the Drive-Thru and have never messed up my order. Sometimes the line at the drive-thru can be a bit long, but the wait has never been an issue for me. One of my complaints is that the parking lot feels tight. Cars have difficulty navigating around each other in order to enter and exit the lot. However, there's plenty of seating inside and outside the building. It could get crowded inside, so be cautious of that if you're trying to get a seat. I also wish they would keep the menus at the drive-thru up to date as there are times I will try to order an item but then that item was only for a limited time yet still on the menu. Nevertheless, still a very solid Starbucks and welcome addition! read more

This is my second time here. First we ordered online by app and came to pick up. We came and store closed for some reason but already paid. A few day later called and asked for credit back, they said just come to the store. We live 40mins away. We came here today and mentioned about the case before ordering our today orders. They said "MAKE SURE NEXT TIME YOU COME BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" (it's about a month ago) For me, this is not how you respond to the customer. You should be more polite! Thank you starbucks for adding more location near my home. I always order soy latte or cinnamon dolce latte with soy milk and they always make it just right! Love it everytime! Every starbucks i go, Most of the time, they made my latte too sweet I had to tell the baristas to make it not too sweet or add more espresso shot, but this location makes it just right~ I don't care how neat the location is or customer service is As long as you make my latte perfect! because that's what matters the Most! I've been using this location since they opened and I've had several issues over the course of time. I stop here more out of convenience because of location and drive thru ,and now that I use the App to order ahead I thought ordering should be easier but I don't feel like my drinks are ever made right/ you can't come In The store to add more cream/ sugar because being specific enough through the app isn't enough. I ordered ahead on the app and when I pulled up the line was wrapped around the building, the parking set up is really awful here also. I thought I'd be able to walk in and grab the coffee I ordered ahead because I was in a hurry and The door was locked , they're not allowing customers inside. So why do I have the option to order ahead if I have to wait in a long ass line anyway? I called to see if they would bring the coffee to the door / NOpe!! Can't do it! So I had to wait in the drive thru line which I'd say added another 15 minutes that my coffee is just sitting there, and I get it and I'm pretty sure there was no sweetener in it. First time at this location. There was no line when I arrived. Cashier was friendly. Food and drink was prepared perfectly and quickly. The credit card machine was not functioning correctly but they were professional and patient about it. Once I had my drink and food and they still could not get it to work, they were kind enough to just let me have them and be on my way. That is exactly what customer service is about. read more

This has earned one star because of absolutely terrible service... but the coffee was good. My mom and I went here today because we were excited to try out a new Starbucks location. We wanted to hit up the happy hour deal- by 1 large coffee and get one large coffee for free. I ordered our coffees both in large and waited for my mother to get out her gift card. It took a good minute or two for my mom to get reception in the store and, therefore, to get her e-giftcard out. And the employee acted extremely inconvenienced by this. Note that traffic was very slow and there was only one person behind us and I very kindly let the cashier know that we'd be happy for her to take the next customer while we sort out our gift card. Of course, our cashier rolled her eyes and let us know that she'd have to wait till our order had ended. She waited a second, rolled her eyes again and helped the customer behind us (so I guess the policy had changed in the last half a second?). No big deal. It's Christmas, I know that people are cranky if they have to work on a holiday. I looked back at the bill for both drinks which had changed from the happy hour price to what seemed to be full price. No biggie- I just assumed she suddenly thought that happy hour isn't on holidays and changed our bill accordingly. I didn't want to fight it since I knew she was having a bad day. Fast forward a bit, and I got our drinks. One was large and another was medium... which means she had deliberately changed one of our drink sizes halfway through our order so we wouldn't get the happy hour deal. Thinking back, I had asked for a "large" coffee which apparently can mean either "grande" or "venti." Most staff will just give you the venti if you say large since we all know no one gives a shit about Starbuck's arbitrary sizing system. I personally think she knew I wanted two large drinks considering the register had shown the happy hour price before we tried to get our gift card out. I left without saying anything since I didn't want to make a scene and ruin the other employees' and customers' Christmas. Just disappointing to run into rude people. When I asked if my order was ready, they checked the mobile sticker and said "oh here it is, we're really busy"... yet the drive thru was empty and no other drinks were being prepared. Staff at Drive thru yesterday had a horrible attitude. I drove up to pick up my order, paid, asked employee to throw something out for me (didn't realize Starbucks doesn't allow this, which was totally fine with me, I totally get the health risks of it and respect that). I normally don't ever ask this but I had my kids in the car and my cup holders were full. No biggie, but employee immediately and abruptly walked away after handing me my drink. I assumed she abruptly left to get me my receipt from another station since she didn't give me one and didn't say a word after handing me my drink. I also wanted a straw so I just stayed there waiting for both straw and receipt. As she made her way back to drive thru window, I didn't see a receipt in her hand so I just let it slide, even though I always like to take them. She then looks at me looks at me with a disgusted face and asks what I need (kind of like why are you still here??) I politely asked her for a straw, and her response was "well that's a sippy" (yes, ma'am I know but the roads are bumpy and I'd rather drink from a straw than hit a bump and have it all over me!!) I work in customer service and was completely taken aback. It's a good thing I pass more than 1 coffee shop on my way home. read more
