You guys need awnings if you're going to have these long lines. There is a covered line in the beginning to get tickets but no fans. So it's people packed in a line in the heat. Then you get your tickets and go to another line and wait in the baking sun on hot pavement with no fan, just watering lines meant for a garden that don't extend to the full line. The buses were running so slow and packed to the point people were forced to stand in the aisle. When we got to the launch site, the attendee THREW a strap at my head when I asked for a joining strap for my husband and i's tube. It actually hit me in the face and he laughed and apologized. We got on the water and things were great. So once you're out of the company's care, you're fine. read more

This is definitely the best thing to do in Helen. Honestly the main reason why I came. Tubing prices are very affordable and they go from $5 one time per person or $20 all day per person. There's a spot where everyone can get their lifesavers and make the line for the bus. A person from the staff takes all the lifesavers and puts them on the back of the bus while everyone gets their seats. The bus takes you to the beginning of the river where you can start your way down. I suggest you check the river levels before you take the trip because it can be very annoying if the river is too low. Makes it impossible to even move. Luckily, when I visited the river levels were just fine. You can buy a stick for $5 that can help you move if you get stuck with some rocks around the river. You can also rent a belt that helps attach two or more lifesavers together just so you don't miss the people you're tubing with. The staff is very nice most of the time, they even helped me at the end of the river to get out of my lifesavers and showed me the exit. There are changing rooms you can use, and the bathrooms are pretty clean too. Definitely a fun experience. ESPAÑOL Esto es definitivamente lo mejor que puedes hacer en Helen. We had a great time today but there are things, had we known, we would have fine differently as far as purchasing our tickets go. It might be in your best interest to purchase your tubing tickets once there & not online. They say parking is either free wherever you can find it or $10 parking fee. $10 parking fee is kind of a lie - we were told it was $20 - $10 for parking & you get a tube rental for free with the wrist band he gave us for a free tube. EXCEPT once we arrived to show we had purchased tickets online there are no refunds so we were going to have a future tube ride - that we didn't want or would use. PLUS they offer an insurance online incase you can't make it on the day you purchase for $12.49 which changed to $14.98 once you input your CC info. I paid $77.41 (includes a $2.50 service charge) when had we just purchased once we arrived, including the parking would have only cost $56. Plus you have to purchase wooden sticks ($5 per) if you don't bring your own (saw somebody using some metal pole) & we bought water shoes & a plastic bag to hold our keys, phones, etc. read more

I Had a great first time being back on the river for the first time in a year. The water was a bit low but none the less it was a fun experience. Thanks to Cole and Chris for the friendly help, they took their time to help my friends find a tube that fit their standers. Now talk about true LAZY river in life. I never done lazy river outside of hotels so thinking about going up too Helen, GA for true outdoor lazy river. Exciting! The price $3 too rent tube go down the river. It takes over hour maybe two hours depends on the amount of people out that day and the height of the river (cause like previous reviews the river can get low and that when find yourself getting stuck all the time). Really is there better bargain for $3 in life. It not like going in circle but literally going down river that not only has all the lust greenery around, you go down past people fly fishing (really now you know out in nature not no mega hotel), and the water can get cold. I was feeling it with every splash or pushing yourself when you get stuck. By the time reached the end was soaked wish brought towel but was my first time. It was worth every drop of river water! They have shuttle buses that has three different stops all in circle from the top of the river too the bottom. They have few buses going at the same time so really not much long of wait at any stop and even if ones full not that long till the next one behind it. They keep your car keys till you get back great idea because the less you have on you the better. The only thing your required too have is wet shoes or recommended. All along the river not surprising too see few scandals or flip flops floating at the end or down the river. You can buy sticks that help you get unstuck for five dollars. Nothing special but piece of wood with Helen Tubing and just something that can remember tubing or use it again. They have all day prices but we just went down once. No drinks allowed once you get your tube. Kids required life vests they provide if not have one. It great for family day. Or can all go solo or have ties that can link bunch of tubes together enjoy the fun. This time hubby and I decided not to go tubing and get tickets for everyone and go by the river to surprise them to take pics of them. We never realized there were more colored lifesaver donut floats. Helen Tubing has pink ones while Cool Waters have light blue or green. The beginning of Helen Tubing is also at the beginning where the water park is. When you get to the end, the shuttle will take you back to the beginning. Since we were not tubing, we picked everyone up at the end. They were fantastic and so accommodating!! My family and I visited in mid July 2020. We pulled our tubes to the shore line to stop for cake but our tubes are STOLEN and we were stranded. We called and rather than charging or lecturing us, they went out of their way to DELIVER THREE TUBES TO US AT NO COST! They never charged us for the tubes and totally saved the day. Awesome!! So much fun. Bring a waterproof bag for your stuff and make sure it has a string you can tie on you. (I saw serval men in the water finding rings, phones, TONS OF SHOES, shirts, jewelry, credit cards, KEYS, cash... ) And this place charges $20 for a crappy bag that you can get on Amazon for $5.:) Just be smart- leave what you can in your car or at your cabin. If you're not used to walking on slippery rocks: WEAR WATER SHOES with a strap on the back at least. Flip flops are worse than sneakers- they fall off and don't keep you from slipping. Also: if you strap yourself with someone else, it's going to be more difficult to maneuver around some small drops in the rocks. If you're in a group and not strapped together, you will be separated but will also end up together again. Most all kids seemed terrified to start but then had a blast eventually. I would never recommend taking more than one kid or not so able bodied adult per able bodied adult. It's not super hard but when you DO get stuck- it can be hard to maneuver. I saw an elderly couple have to be taken out by EMT.( didn't have correct shoes & tied together & hit their heads when someone who was trying to be kind gave them a friendly push over the rocks. ( DONT LET ANYONE PUSH YOU OVER- you'll flip sideways. lol. Just maneuvers out with a stick they provide or get out of the tube. I swear those 3 things saved me my 2nd and 3rd trips!:)) Having a tube with a bottom is essential for little ones, I think. Paid $5 to park and $10 apiece to tube down the river at "the island" location next to the gas station. The guys were nice, gave us advice on not taking anything with us (shoes, phone, etc). Tubing was fun, though crowded, and lots of people had sticks to help them push off rocks. Wish we'd known about those! Giving one star because the fun was ruined when the shuttle bus included with the ticket dropped us off at the north office and told us to walk to "the Island". In our bathing suits, no shoes, over sharp gravel, then along a busy road, through grass with anthills. Did I mention they told us not to bring shoes? And that we had to walk in bathing suits on the side of a high traffic road? The guys at the island asked us if we had fun. I said "tubing was fun, but walking from the north office in bathing suits and bare feet was not at all fun." He said "the bus was supposed to bring you here, sorry about that." No part of the parking or tubing fee was offered in compensation. It's two hours later and our feet are still hurt from the gravel. Pretty much ruined our day. read more

I've been doing this since I've been living in Georgia. In other words, all my life. Never realized that made me a partial red neck and that tubing only happens in the South... hey, at least we're having fun! If you've never been tubing before or don't know what it is, you sit in a big intertube and float down the river. In heavier rains, the river is easy to navigate by everyone, but less rain means the heavier you are, the more likely you are to get stuck. It's still a great time, complete with smaller rapids a little rock slide to go down. My favorite part about Helen are the houses with lost flip flops on display. What a fantastic marker along the way! I've only ever used Helen Tubing (also known as Flea Market Tubing) because the price is better and it's long. Takes anywhere from 1.5-2 hours to finish if you don't stop often, but it's worth it to slow down and enjoy the finer things. One more thing: Fish DO live in the river, and it makes for a hilarious story when one jumps out of the water and hits you in the face. For only $3 (to rent the tube), you will enjoy a lazy 3 hour float (the longest I can remember since it's usually anywhere from 1 hr to 2 hrs). If you need a plastic bag, it's $1. And if you want to rent the wooden sticks for when you get stuck, that's $5. You don't have to be in any sort of attire, but make sure you have on stuff that you can afford to lose (cheap sandals, sunglasses, hats, etc.). You won't be soaking wet, but your lower half can get wet if water splashes into the tub or if you have to clamber out of the tub to get unstuck. Wear shorts and you should be safe. I would recommend parking near the end where you will be exiting the river and take the bus to the admissions booth where you enter the river. It will make your life easier since you will come out wet and hungry. You won't be soaked but --Speaking from experience-- You can park where the tubing information station is and ride the bus to the admissions place. read more

Absolutely the worst experience my friend group of 10 who have been coming to Helen since we were young have ever had. Cool river tubing is amazing but Helen tubing is the ABSOLUTE worst. An old grey haired man in a grey jacked up truck swooped in the parking lot we had just parked in due to his staff telling us to after we had just paid our $20. There was no one is this parking lot giving direction so we just parked along with another car that followed our lead. We notice he got out and instead of approaching us nicely IMMEDIATELY starting screaming at this other group (who we didn't know) accusing them of not having a band bc it wasn't on their wrist and then proceeded to call them liars. After they showed him the band he asked why they were not wearing it and they stated it was just given to them. When he came to my group, he came with the same exact attitude and told us we need to move our dam* car and then asked we're our wrist band was. One of our group members proceeded to tell him that his workers are not doing their job and just handed it to us. After that he continues to yell. When one of the females of our groups speaks up he then proceeds to get in her face and start screaming and act like he is going to strike at her until one of the males start coming over. She then states that she will inform the owner and he responds with "good because I'm the owner." She then states that she is going to call the cops for him getting in her face and bowing up and his response was "good I don't care, I'm just and old man who is hot and has run out of patience." He then starts talking to his employees like they are dogs, screaming at them and running towards them as if he's going to strike them for not listening or understanding. Then to top it all off my friends and I were walking across the road to try and enjoy our time after this fiasco when this same grey truck purposely doesn't stop and catches my friends back with his truck mirror honking his horn when we were on a cross walk. NEVER in my life have I EVER experienced this type of behavior, especially after doing absolutely nothing to provoke it. I went to Helen Tubing and Water Park with a group of friends last Saturday, and it was an EPIC fail for all of us. It was a memorable experience to say the least. It will be fun they said... well IDK about that. The experience is supposed to take 3 hours and the pink bus should bring you back to return your tube. We did not make it through to the end. Our group ended up stopping halfway through because the struggle was real. We literally got out of the water and walked the tubes (a half mile) back to the tube area. I recommend leaving your electronics in the car or in a waterproof bag because you may fall out of the tube. I fell out at least 6 times. I highly recommend that you wear water shoes. I bought mine from Academy Sports and brought them. It was the best investment for this sort of thing. You can either bring your own water shoes or buy them from Helen Tubing Water Park. You can also choose to wear your own regular shoes, but I would not recommend it unless they are close-toed shoes that you do not mind getting wet. Do not wear flip flops because they will come off your feet and likely float down the river. I also recommend using a tube without a hole because it hurts when the rocks hit your bottom (I found this out from friends). Last Saturday, the current was weak, and the rocks were stopping everything. It was not thick/big girl friendly and I thought that it may have just been me and my group. It turned out that everyone around us struggled with tubing properly. The main issue was that the tubes would not float down the lake without being stopped every few feet by rocks. The sticks were not helpful. Changing positions did not help. Being tied together to a partner did not help. Being separate was not helpful. It was cute in theory. But it just did not turn out as I envisioned. We had our laughs. I would not do this again at this location, but I recommend at least once for the experience. With the right group and a good attitude, it will be $8 well spent. I slept like a baby after this. Also, my eyes were slightly red and irritated after being exposed to the water. The irritation reduced by the next evening. I don't know how sterile the water is but wanted to note that because I freaked out a little after seeing my eyes redden. read more

Terrifying. Usually the river is very low but after the rain it's extremely high. There are massive rocks where people get stuck and you flip over in the rapids and slam into the rocks. They don't tell you how dangerous it is, nor that you need shoes. I cut my feet trying to get back into the tube multiple times. I saw children flip out and get separated from their families. Definitely buy the stick!!! Also strapping together puts you towards the bigger rocks! Be careful. You can get off at multiple points and people do because they lose their floats. Bring a ziplock for your keys! You sign a release and no one explains it to you or tells you where to get off! It took around 3 hours or so. Keep your head up! Watch for the concrete bridges. It was nice for a while, but it's certainly not a lazy river. read more

2 stars because of the in-compassionate bus driver who lied to us that he was not able to drop us off back where we started our tubing which was "the island" end of Helen Tubing company. We picnic on "the island"area at the south end of Helen tubing company where you could also buy tickets and start tubing. All of the employees there were kind and helpfulL. We had fun tubing until we got back. The driver drove us back to the main Helen Company stop, but refused us three times to drop us off back at the "the island". We had children bare feet walking on gravel and hot concrete to get back to "the island". It was about a 10 min walk, but add gravel and hot concrete, it felt like an hour. We thought the driver was saying the truth and respected that that maybe the rule,but we learned it was a lie when we spoke to the employees at "the island". Thanks to them, if we use this company again we now know. We tubed on 07/06/19 between 2:30 - 5pm. If you go it would be helpful for you to: WEAR WATER SHOES Sunscreen Good grip hat Buy the stick ($5) to help you steer from big rocks and from getting stuck. Rope to tie your tubers close to you Life vest for little ones and those who don't swim (few deep stops) they have vests, but may run low due to volume of people. Rocks are slippery so step on them carefully. Respect other tubers and the river On the island you can park for $5, rent tables ($5), rent grill ($5) if u don't ring ur own, not sure about charcoal so bring ur own. There is a little creek that the kids can play in. No real bathrooms just Porti-potties and small primitive looking changing booth. read more

For the price, you can't beat this experience. The latest you can enter the river is 4:30 PM. We got there right before they closed the office, paid our $5 per tube, and entered the river. As a light person (100 lbs) I didn't experience too many problems with the water level, but my friend (240 lbs) kept getting stuck on all of the rocks because the water was on the shallow side. The river ride is very relaxing, but there are some wild parts, and you will have to free yourself from rocks every now and then. The ride is really long, and towards the end I was getting pretty bored with it. Once you reach the end of the ride, an employee collects your tube and they offer a bus to take you back to your car. It was a good experience and I recommend it to everyone who has a couple of hours to spend. My one wish is that they permitted alcohol on the river. Oh well! read more

This is such a fun experience! All I can say is BUY THE STICK! At first, the ride can seem scary and hard but then you get the hang of it! There's a lot of rocks stopping you so I HIGHLY suggest buying a stick for $5. We didn't do this unfortunately so our ride didn't go as smoothly but it was still extremely fun! The ride is about an hour long and there are parts that are exhilarating and parts that you can just sit back and relax. First time at the river, no one advised us anything about what to expect, no one walked to the water to even answer and questions. Once we were on, we went 40 feet and panic set in. I took this trip down the river with my mother-in-law, husband, 9 and 7-year old boys. Thanks to other yelpers I knew to bring my stick, wear my water shoes, and bring the boy's life jackets! Each of us parents hooked a kid up to our tube and let them take charge of the stick. My 5yo got the tube with the bottom, so he sat in it like a boat; he had a blast navigating the rocks and pushing us along. It started pouring on us after we were 30 minutes in. After a large thunder rumble, my mother-in-law asked if they would come pick us up off the river if it started lightning. That was hilarious! I'm pretty sure for $3/tube you don't get inclement weather pickup!!! The rain helped to push us along and even though the trip was supposed to take 2.5 hours, we were finished, and bussed back to the starting point in under 2 hours. There were only two negatives about our tubing experience: 1. Our behinds got beat up by the rocks. You'd get lulled into a relaxed (booty hanging low) position and then WHAM! Your tailbone gets adjusted. A couple times I was sure that I had skin taken off, and my mother-in-law complained endlessly for the next two days about her sore lower back. 2. I lost my wedding ring after getting out of my tube to hike back up the river to do some faster rapids again. I tripped in the water, the tube got pulled out of my hand by the fast water, and the handle pulled off my ring. Thankfully, my angels were watching over me! I realized the ring was gone 100 yards down the river and I prayed very hard as I walked upriver to look for it. After searching for 15 minutes, I was able to find my ring on a rock underneath the water. It was my anniversary too, so relief does not express how I felt after I found it! You can't beat the price ($3 per tube) and the employees we encountered were all pretty friendly. We arrived at the beginning of the run and rented our pink tubes. They even had tubes with plastic covering the opening which was perfect for my 3yo daughter (she didn't have to get wet). Our party of 6 walked down to the water after renting our tubes and gingerly plopped down. My biggest take away from this experience: CHECK THE DEPTH OF THE WATER BEFORE YOU START!! Apparently recent lack of rainfall meant the river was very, VERY shallow almost the entire section we tubed. You would undoubtedly need one of the sticks they sell to kind of push yourself along. I skipped the stick and had better luck using my long arms and legs. The water was so shallow I could easily touch the rocky bottom with my hands as we went. We struggled to get downstream and a few of our heavier friends gave up entirely and waited on the bank. We couldn't figure a good solution so the remaining 4 of us hurried downstream (it still took forever!). Remember, you leave you car at the start and catch the bus back! So if you get halfway and have a problem what to do?? Another tip: BRING A DRY BAG, or some other safe place to keep valuables safe and dry. You may need a cell phone if there's an emergency. Overall I had a nice time. It definitely would've been better had it been deeper, but I managed to get downstream and a good workout while I was at it! The lighter you are the easier time you'll have, obviously. My 3yo daughter's tube was tethered to mine throughout (They gave us the tether) while my husband was with my 7yo son. I was able to use my daughters tube to sling us around obstacles and down small rapids. My husband (who is heavier) had more trouble but managed.There are some truly beautiful spots and unfortunately lots of trash. FOLKS, DON'T RUIN THE RIVER BY LEAVING YOUR TRASH!! It would be nice if a local group organized weekly trash pick-ups. There were several places where there were small, fun rapids but often tubes would log jam and block everything. It was actually kind of treacherous! Folks would get out and slip on slimy rocks trying to get through. Helen tubing's exits was the farthest of any of the tube companies. Honestly, we were ready to be done and were disappointed to see an exit then find out it wasn't for us. The exit for the pink tubes is well past town, btw. We were about to get out when somehow my son flip his tube and hit his tooth on a rock. Although he was shaken he wasn't seriously hurt. I can imagine this type of things happens frequently. Imagine if this happened to you mid way down and someone was really hurt? You could easily bash your face or twist and ankle on the rocks. Be careful!! So we finally get to the end and the gift shop and snack shop are all closed. There were bathrooms and the bus arrived shortly to take us to our car. Funny how short the trip was via bus! We got the car and scooped up our poor stranded friends. Next time we would without a doubt CALL AHEAD TO CHECK THE WATER LEVEL. I feel like the owners should've been more upfront about the water when we rented the tubes. We probably wouldn't have done it that day. Y'all, my family and I had the BEST time tubing. The day was gorgeous. The water was fantastic. The tubes stayed fully inflated. But our spirits were deflated when we waited in line for OVER TWO HOURS to catch the Helen Tubing shuttle bus to get back to our car! That's absolutely ridiculous. This place has been in business long enough to learn how to transport their guests. Their excuse? Well, it's a holiday weekend. We could see two Helen Tubing buses parked across the street in a field that weren't even being used. The trailers carrying the tubes made multiple round trips to our location. Why couldn't the buses? Our advice? If you can take two cars, park one at the take-out point and park one at the drop-in point. Or, if you park at the drop-in, take your phone and call an Uber. I mean it. TWO HOURS. In the sun. With no water. We spent more time standing in line than we spent on the river. We are NOT happy tubers. P.S. Please get a water proof bag for your valuables and a GUARANTEED means for it to stay on your body for the entire trip. We decided not to take phones or money for fear of it getting lost on the river. Do NOT take your car keys. We nearly lost two water bottles and a pair of sunglasses. Plus, the number of shoes that floated past! Oh. My. Goodness! And don't take your baby or your grandma. We saw some seriously concerning incidents with said family members. Going tubing with this company was so fun and cheap. We enjoyed floating down the creek and learned that next time would be easier with a stick to push off of rocks when stuck. We were tubing for 2 hours and only paid $8. read more

We drove over 2 hours to get here and enjoyed our time! I wasn't aware this small town had so much to offer so we shall return again for a full day or maybe an overnight stay. You have an option to have a closed tube or open one. I'm glad we all picked closed ones. We all got wet but we would be soaking wet if we picked the open tubes. We bought one stick and picked up 2 other random branch's on our journey. A stick isn't a must but it helps with pushing yourself through if you get stuck. A few times a person in our group without a stick had to get up out of their tube (usually in a rock area) and place it back down - sometimes causing them to completely fall into the water. We went mid June and while the weather was warm, the water was cold. I do suggest water shoes. We saw a few solo sandals floating around on our journey down the river. I lost a pair of sunglasses. We decided not to bring any towels or change of clothes down the river. We got picked up by a bus where we parked our car (water park location) and were driven 10+ mins up the road. Once we got out of the tubes at the end of our river journey we were two/three blocks away from where we parked our car (water park). No need to take a bus back but make sure you park at the water park entrance area for that option. We got our towels and clothes from our car, changed and went about our way. We will definitely be back!!! read more

Best $3 you'll spend on a hot day! Wear water shoes or crocs (bought a pair of $20 comfy H2O shoes at a local store). Don't use fiippy floppys...you'll see why halfway down the river. Plan on around a 2 hour trip. You'll need a stick, especially if the water level is a little low....they have them for sale but are $5/per for a piece of 1x2. Go find a sturdy stick or bring a piece of PVC. The water park is overpriced and underwhelming. Overall, this was the highlight of my week in Helen. Went twice and got rained out on the third go. Look for the PINK...the other operator (cool river...blue/green tubes) is more expensive. read more

I have never been tubing. I researched both Cool River vs Helen Tubing. Almost every review for Cool River Tubing mentioned it was very rocky and you get stuck on rocks. I didn't see many complaints of rocks for Helen Tubing, well let me tell you that it's all the same river. There is 3 price options, 1st is $3 for one round of tubing which took about 3 hours. The 2nd option is the all day tubing for $8. The 3rd option is $15 which you get to the do the water park and all day tubing. We choose the 3rd option not knowing what to expect. I think the $3 option was all that was needed but hey we already bought the tickets up front and the kids had fun at the water park anyway. If you have young kids, make sure they are connected to your tube and hold on to your tube tight as you try to get on. We were a group of 3 kids & 3 adults. We put my 9 yr old niece first, she has never been tubing either & from the city of NY & all of the sudden she's gone. So now I have to figure out how to get on the tube to catch up with my niece. I fell off once because I tried to remove the water out of my tube. And when I fell off, my tube drifted away. Luckily my tube got stuck on the side several yards away, so I painfully had to walk barefoot on the rocks to get it back. 20 minutes later I finally find my niece. She was upset, being by herself on the "country" river, she lost her stick, water & flip flops. She said several people ran over her when she fell off and had a few minor scrap. It's hard to control those tubes on moving current. I ended up connecting my tube with my niece's & we could share the stick I had. Afterwards my niece felt better. Out of our group of 6, 5 of us fell off. You must watch out for the rocks and bridges. My neck was so tired from trying not to bump into so many rocks. At one point i felt it was safe to relax for a moment. My neck was so sore I had to rest it on the tube and I was looking at the beautiful sky and trees...then BAM! My head hits a bridge. OUCH! This was the longest 3 hours of my life...towards the middle of the ride I couldn't wait for this end. Don't bother to bring a bottle of water on the river, all 6 of us brought water to keep us hydrated but we all lost ours during the ride. If it seems like I was stressed during this ride why do I rate this 4 stars..well it's because it was still a nice beautiful river, the tubes were in good shape, the customer service was fine, clean bathrooms, nice people all around. Just because I'm such a rookie at tubing I don't want to reduce the stars for the company. My 13 year nephew LOVED it. Even though he fell off 3 times. Got stuck on several rides. Lost his stick, he kept saying how fun it was. I guess because he's boy who loves that adventurous type stuff. There were others that seem to be drifting peacefully. I think one group actually had a baby with them! I could barely handle myself no less take care of a baby with me. I imagined they have tubed the river plenty of times and know the tricks of how to get around the rocks. Here are tips for newbies: 1. BRING WATER SHOES. If you don't have any and you want to bring flip flops, make sure you tie them to the tube. 2. TUBE CONNECTOR. Make sure you take one, I thought I wouldn't need one but realized later if not to connect to another tube, use it to secure your shoes/flip flops. 2-1/2. YOU NEED A STICK. bought ours at a dollar store. They were actually broomsticks but we screwed off the top part. $1.75 vs $5.00 what they charge at Helen Tubing. 3. WATCH OUT FOR ROCKS/BRIDGES 4. IF YOU HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LET GO BEFORE YOU CONNECT YOURSELF TO THEM. 5. IF YOU WANT TO BRING A CAMERA MAKE SURE IT'S WATERPROOF, everything you have with you will get wet. 6. YOU WILL BE SORE AFTER THE TRIP, I'm not the best of shape, but my sister who works out everyday was even sore the next day. 7. PARK BY THE END OF THE RIVER. you will be tired and wet from tubing, you don't have to wait for a bus to take you back to the parking lot by the beginning. You can also buy tickets at the end of the river because it's near the water park. So after you buy your tickets at the end, take the bus while your dry to the beginning of the river. Ok now to the Water Park...It's a very simple waterpark, nothing like Hurricane Harbor but the kids loved it just the same. There is barely any lines on the water slides. There's only two of them. But the kids didn't care, they just went over and over again. There's also a lazy river. Over $15 for an all day experience is a bargain. read more
