The party was already seated when this reviewer arrived, and it was her suggestion to move outside -- not something the rest of her group seemed on board with, likely because it was a warm sunny day. The server calmly explained that the outdoor tables are large heavy picnic tables that can't be easily moved -- a completely reasonable thing to let a customer know. It's a small place and my husband and I never once heard any mention of a surcharge or gratuity. What we did witness was a loud scene that was clearly uncomfortable for everyone in the restaurant, including members of her own party -- one of whom stayed behind, finished his beer, and looked genuinely embarrassed by the whole thing. She mentions being a business owner in her review -- she should know there's always a more gracious way to handle a situation you're unhappy with, especially in a public setting. This place, its staff, and the other patrons didn't deserve her meltdown. This is a solid pizza place in our little town, give it a try.

We know their pizzas take about 25-30 minutes to prepare and bake, so we decided to order online, via their website, so it would be ready to eat when we arrived. We walked in and the interior screamed Abby's. They had the long tables with chairs and even a couple fireplaces. They also have a small arcade area. My husband really enjoyed seeing all the old photos on the walls. We walked up to the counter to get our pizza. The employees were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We let them know we were going to dine in, so they gave us plates and water cups. The pizza was exactly what we were hoping for...thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of fresh, delicious toppings. We ordered the giant (16") half Hawaiian, half Abby's Special for $45. Prices are a little high comparatively, but we love their pizzas so much, we don't mind paying a little more on occasion. If they were a little cheaper, we may come more often. I think they have coupons as well, so we may look for a coupon next time.
