The only thing that caught me off guard at first is that there are two different restaurants operating in the same space, but they make it work smoothly with no issues at all. The service was quick and everyone there was really nice and welcoming. You're not waiting around forever, they get you taken care of fast and keep things moving. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the Hello Hibachi Special, which came with rice, shrimp, steak, and veggies. The food was fire. The steak was tender, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, and everything had great flavor. Nothing was bland, everything was seasoned well. The special also came with a salad that was fresh, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. Overall this one is an easy 10/10. absolute fire. amazing portion sizes and the food is sizzling fresh. i got the pre-made plate with beef, chicken, AND shrimp. the yum-yum sauce is addicting. i thought the fried rice was so flavorful and accompanied the protein and veggies. the plate also includes a side salad. the order system is at the counter, then it's seat-for-all. they'll find you with the number at your table. the water and utensils are also self-serve. the place is nicely spaced and the decor is cute! saw several people studying and getting cozy actually, so might be a good spot to chill and get work done too read more

I've loved stopping by Little Avalon for a nice coffee and some amazing food from Hello Hibachi. Unfortunately, it seems they've changed their portion sizes pretty drastically without updating the prices. I usually always get the one protein option of the chicken katsu and the last 2 times I went there was a generous serving of chicken. I'll upload a picture I took from one of my previous visits. Today was completely different. Instead of the normal portion of chicken katsu, I was given 3 pieces of chicken. Literally 3. I would've had no problem with that, but compared to my previous visits it was just super disappointing. They quite literally took over half of the portion away. Also, if the items are not available on the menu, then those items should be crossed out. I tried ordering scallop as my second protein, and that wasn't available. Blue rice was not available, and onion soup was not available either. There was more rice than anything else in my bowl and I didn't get many vegetables. The steak was good though. This is my personal comfort food, so my review will reflect that. FINALLY a Hibachi place that gets it right! I'm from the deep south - we do "fast food" Hibachi as an art form there. Hello Hibachi is the closest I've found to tasting home. It's a 30 min drive, but the other Hibachi food trucks in Vegas do not do it like this, not even close. This food is actually cooked like you went to a sit down restaurant. The inside is decorated in light brown wicker, and has some Hawaiian themed elements throughout. Very cute and clean. They offer Hawaiian sun drinks and Hawaiian host chocolates. We tried a mixture of the different sides offered. Mixed vegetables, rice, and onion soup. The rice was absolutely incredible. It tasted different than what I can make at home. Slightly grilled and browned, but still soft and chewy. The portion of rice is good to me. The mixed veggies are yummy, also grilled, but mostly zucchini. I like broccoli a bit more, but that's just personal preference. The onions are bomb! The onion soup was super onion-y and exactly what I hoped it would be. It is similar to what you would get at a Japanese steakhouse. Very salty and oily, but so good. There was also an add on for $1 to color your rice blue. One of the oddest things I've ever seen a restaurant do, but I guess it's cool for the kids. The portion of chicken for the price is a little disappointing. I ordered mine with Teriyaki sauce ($1 more) and my partner got plain. I genuinely could not tell a difference. Both were awesome. I would suggest not to spend the extra $1 and just get teriyaki sauce as your side. The chicken was perfect. Moist, juicy, a little soft. Not rubbery at all. I hope they add an "extra protein" option in the future, if it isn't there already. While the meal was $14 with just chicken, at least it is cooked right. It is pricey, but I will drive here and pay it for food that hits the mark this hard. The sauces are great and worth paying extra to get a couple more with your meal. The meals come with 2, which is very fair. They are a good size, but as I mentioned.. southerners drench our stuff in sauce, especially if it's base is mayo. Hello Hibachi gets it right with their Yum Yum sauce especially. No weird ginger, excessive sugar, or sour notes. Just smooth, creamy, with hints of garlic, tomato, and vinegar. They also offer it mixed with teriyaki. There is also a ginger sauce which I assume will be good with their side salad. I can't wait to try them all. The customer service was just okay. It seems like they may easily get orders mixed up. We were the only people in the restaurant but they still had to check with us for our order name. I would check your order if you're picking up an online order just to be sure, but all our items were correct. I am super impressed with HH and will be back, probably at least once a week. read more

Quick hibachi with quality ingredients, sign me up! They have all the basics, chicken, steak, salmon, etc. Lobster is an option, but the amount of lobster is minimal so I'd skip that. I also think they should add a noodle to the menu eventually. But as for flavor, freshness, and quality. ON POINT! And try all of the sauces, they are legit! You don't see them cook in front of you but it is still made to order. Everyone is always very friendly and observant when I'm in there. I've never encountered bad customer service at all. Upon entering, it's a little confusing because it's two restaurants in one building, but they'll help you figure it out. I've also had it delivered which is quite an up charge from third parties but I will say it showed up tasting just as good. That doesn't always happen. Mood- Lunch I will admit I read a review that talked about the rice. This had my attention fully. In our world rice sometimes is life and can make or break an attitude. There are 2 tables and one sit up bar. We had to ask the employee at the counter for a wet towel so we could buss the table as it was not clean. The employee bussed the table for us. There is outdoor seating as well. Music was playing in the background. Would recommend - Pricing was typical for the area. Portions are not generous. However the rice is on point. What a pleasant surprise. We found this place on Uber eats and I have a strong rule of thumb, we always try it hot and fresh first before we ever have to-go. Man, we were not disappointed. This place hit on everything that's important to me. The food was absolutely amazing. The blue rice and the onion soup definitely set this place apart from all the others in town. The soup is actual soup cooked with love and simmered for 24 hours. This isn't your mama-san's run of the mill miso soup. The ambiance of the place is great. Usually we would go to Volcano grille but it isn't as fresh tasting as it used to be. This seems new and at the same similar so I decided maybe try it. Options are fewer but they are a new store. It has a better balance of salt than others who cook this where it can be really salty. The rice is good and I like that the vegetables are zucchini and broccoli rather than mostly onions and some carrots. Chicken and beef were both pretty tender.
