We've been coming to Eight Noodle Bar at Red Rock over Labor Day weekend with our friends for going on three years now, and they hit it out of the park every single time. The food is consistently delicious, fresh and flavorful, and the service has always been great. We look forward to eating here every year--in fact, sometimes we end up going twice during the same trip because we enjoy it that much. As for the food I loved how tender the shaking beef was and the Szechuan spice on the Thai basil chicken was so flavorful and delicious! The Gyoza were a bright spot across both visits. expertly prepared, beautifully pan-seared with a great crisp on the bottom, a tender and thin skin, and a savory, well-seasoned filling. worth ordering. The biggest issue here is kitchen consistency. I ordered the exact same dish, basil thai chicken, on two separate visits, and the contrast was stark, like it was two different dishes. One had a dark sauce, the other one had not. One was good, one was mediocre. When a kitchen serves a great version of a dish on night one, it proves they have the recipe down, but falling short on the exact same order a few days later points to a lack of quality control. Upon first arrival, get a little attitude from the host when ask for comfortable seating on my pregnant friend's behalf. Nota big deal. Then when we're seated, the waitress takes our drink order. She brings out my friend's drink but forgets my regular Thai tea. I had to remind her. She brings it out late, but I'm not angry yet. She takes our food order. I order the egg rolls. She brings out an order of spring rolls. I tell her didn't order that. She then has the audacity to tell me did. I didn't even know spring rolls were on the menu! My food takes forever to arrive. My friend is halfway done with her meal. I ask the waitress to check on my egg rolls. She says with attitude as if it were my fault: "Yes well the order wasn't right, so itll take time."' Her tone was terrible and there were no apologies. The worst part was the bill. My friend and split the bill and didn't check it before paying unfortunately. We even tipped $10 each when we each hada $30 bill. Overall friendly service. Venue was nice, rate food came out was good and appropriate. The food was hit and miss depending on what you got. I would say the pad thai and the pho was good, although the noodles they used for the pad thai was super thing and ate like a vermicelli more, sauce was also on the sweeter end but tasted good. Pho broth was super fragrant and well made. Unfortunately, our chicken wings were under and the meat was bloody and slightly rare. The fried rice was wet and not worth the price, and the spicy shrimp noodles were not spicy, also mushy and was not good. The pork belly fried rice was much better then the regular. This is the non descript place in Red Rock Casino but don't pass it up they have some good stuff here. I picked up a stir fry dish and some tea and there was plenty of it. We were preparing for the movie down the hall and thought we should get something substantial to eat. The staff was quick and got us our order swiftly. Went to red rock was planning on eating at Lucky Penny. They were closed for some cleaning. So we were forced to try this place. OK so we weren't forced but I'm kind of glad we did. I've never been here. This is my first time eating here. So this is gonna be based on their late night menu as they only had some of the items from their original menu. The decor here is super Asian with soup bowls displayed, it's a cool concept. First thing I started out with was the pork bao buns, they were huge, and the pork was cooked perfectly. I also got the ribeye fried rice. That was really good. And also the orange chicken super tasty. Came back to Red Rock Noodle Bar just for this spot. Last time we ordered it to go, this time we decided to dine in. Our waitress Pua was the highlight. Super upbeat and welcoming. She gave us suggestions and talked with us like we'd known her for years. We're visiting from Texas and like trying different places when we travel. This is a really interesting place as it is an Asian restaurant that sells the popular dishes from Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai all in location. Where else can you have a decision between ramen, pho and beef noodle soup in one location? The food here is pretty exceptional as each dish is full of flavor as it should be. I've had the pho and beef noodle soup which is pretty good. It's not going to be as great as a restaurant that specializes in it but it does its job. One thing specific that I like about this place is that they also serve sake and soju here which isn't widely available in Red Rock Casino. The location is like a small little restaurant that has some small seating but can definitely fit a decent amount of people. It's right next to the casino so don't expect to get immersed in the location as the bowl pillar won't block the casino for you. Salt & Pepper wings are better at the food bin at Albertons. Used to be my favorite. Shaking beef was well done and no flavor. Shrimp toast came out whole instead if cut like it used to. I always forget to take photos of my food cuz I just wanna dig in but this time I remembered. I ordered the vermicelli and the tempura appetizer. Both were great. lucky 8 We were very fortun-eight to have discovered 8 Noodle Bar on our arrival day at Red Rock Casino Resort. Interestingly enough, we had lunch here 2 consecutive days. LOCATION / AMBIANCE Red Rock Casino Resort right off the casino floor (along the perimeter). The restaurant is not large, which was a bit surprising to me as it seemed food places occupied larger spaces. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, and so we literally had our pick of where we wanted to sit. We chose a table in a corner. FOOD / DRINK On our first visit, we shared the pork belly bao buns. Though the $9 price tag seemed a bit much for only 2 pieces, the bao buns are filled with generous pieces of pork belly and vegetables. Recommended. I ordered the Signature Pork Fried Rice, while my dining companion ordered the Feel Good Ramen. The pork fried rice was incredibly good! A generous portion, seasoned well, with a large piece of pork belly and cooked egg. I ate the entire portion! I also ordered this dish again the next day! Recommended. My partner thought the ramen was just ok and finished most of it. The following day we arrived just as they were opening, and chose another corner table. As previously mentioned, I ordered the pork fried rice, we selected the spring rolls as our appetizer, and my friend ordered fried chicken dish that was the daily special (comparable, but much better than orange chicken per our server). The chicken dish was much more favorable than the ramen from the following day, and we both enjoyed the spring rolls. A glass of wine each completed the meal. SERVICE Outstanding! We thought the hosts and servers on both days we visited were friendly, personable, patient, and kindly offered their menu recommendations in a most sincere demeanor. As a longtime fan of Red Rock Resort, I really wanted to love 8 Noodle Bar. Unfortunately, after several visits, I think this restaurant could benefit from paying closer attention to the quality and consistency of some of its menu items. Considering the prices are higher than many authentic Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas, I expected a better dining experience. The biggest disappointment has been the chicken dishes. The chicken has consistently tasted processed or canned rather than fresh, tender, and wok-stir-fried like you would expect from a good authentic Chinese kitchen. The restaurant is always busy, which shows it's popular, but I hope management takes another look at the menu. While pho and noodle dishes seem to be the primary focus, I'd love to see a broader selection of authentic Chinese entrées. Paying closer attention to seasoning would also help, as some dishes tend to be saltier than they should be. I truly want this restaurant to succeed because I enjoy visiting Red Rock Resort. For now, I'd give it 3 stars. If they improve the quality of the chicken dishes, expand the menu, and refine some of the recipes, I'd be happy to give them another try and hopefully increase my rating. read more

My friend ordered fried green beans which I couldn't stop thinking about. It's hard to find Udon in noodle soup so this was very interesting to try. We had the Five Spice Brisket Udon Soup. Unfortunately the soup didn't come out very hot which was a bummer. Noodle soup, when it is hot, just soothes your soul and this bowl just was luke warm. The flavor initially was just ok, but using the table spices - dried shallots, spice seasoning, and seaweed seasoning, the flavor was much better. The Beef Pho with substituting Udon came out MUCH HOTTER than the Five Spice. This soup from the start had good flavor and you didn't have to add any of the table spices to it. The rush just died down. For apps we got bao bun and crispy green beans, my husband got pho with extra noodles, I shared a Tonkatsu with my son. My son got a mango smoothie boba which he says tastes like mango melona ice cream. I got a taro boba to go. Service was great. It started to get busy again while we were eating. We wanted to try all of the restaurants in red rock, so next on our list was noodle bar. The ramen tasted like pack ramen you'd get from the grocery store, but it was good. The grilled chicken was a nice touch and so were the fried wontons that you get. We also got a Thai tea with boba and coconut with boba. The restaurant is on the small side, and there are just a few counter seats, not too sure, but about 4 seats? The seating area is small as well, but clean and nicely decorated. Ordered the crispy green beans (tempura), salt and pepper chicken wings, and a Thai basil chicken. The green beans were really good! Lightly battered, crisp, and very tasty. The chicken wings were good, piping hot, lots of green onion and some sliced chili. Probably needed some salt and pepper on the chicken, as it was bland, but the green onion helped with flavor. The thai basil chicken was just ok. I don't know why so many restaurants use only chicken breast instead of thigh meat, as breast is pretty dry. I found 3 basil leaves , need more. The sauce was tasty, just need some refinement for my taste. Service was ok. For some reason, the server was either slamming the cups and dishes onto the table, or the tables are just super noisy. The place is inside the casino, which is confident if you are gambling and want food. When I got there they offered free furikake so that's nice. I got to try the tonkatsu ramen and the feel good ramen. This is where things go downhill. The tonkatsu broth is pink, which makes me think there was food coloring that rubbed off. The broth was also watery and not at all enjoyable. The noodles used was not a good quality. If you told me the feel good ramen was a wonton soup, I wouldn't notice a difference. I don't normally give places one star for the food alone, but considering this is Vegas, I feel a casino should probably offer something better. Never coming here again.
