Sushi bomb is my mom's go-to sushi place in Vegas. I don't eat sushi, so I can't speak much to the actual sushi other than that! But take her word for it! We started with the garlic parm edamame and it was delicious. The garlic parmesan mixture it is coated in is addictive. As a non-sushi eater, my eye immediately goes to the other sections of the menu. There are multiple bento boxes to choose from as well as other dinner entree options. I went with the beef bulgogi and was not disappointed. It was a nice large portion, enough for leftovers. It can with white rice and a side salad with lettuce, cucumber, carrot and some kind of blended (ginger?) dressing. I haven't ordered beef bulgogi at many restaurants, but it was really good. Tender beef, sweet sauce, and a lot of it! The white rice is, of course, perfect with it. It made for a great meal, especially when sometimes non-sushi items can feel like an afterthought at a sushi restaurant. We had great service. Very attentive and checking in throughout the meal. The restaurant was busy on a summer Sunday night around 7pm. There do appear to be some time limits during dinner time so keep that in mind. A delicious meal! Thanks Sushi Bomb! read more

So happy to finally try this local place! It's on the smaller side and totally packed, so that was a nice indicator that it was going to be delcious...and it was! It's cozy but doesn't feel small. I love the design and pictures on the walls. It is small but quaint. The service has always been A-Mazing. We come here often and it is always busy. They offer AYCE and ALA Carte. They have changed their menu 3x but some of our favorites are still on there. I am sad they no longer have the shrimp pop. It was crispy, light and the sauce that came with it was delicious! I would sometimes dip my sushi in it. They also no longer have mochi! Which is always my go to for dessert. It is the perfect little sweet treat after a large meal. Tried the strawberry niogri sake and it was delicious and it has 8% alcohol but it tasted like drinking a slush. Definitely getting again! Besides the changes, we usually get the same things when we go but do like to try new rolls. Everything always comes out fresh and with lots of flavor. The spicy garlic edamame is always a hit and miss at places but they must have changed their recipe because tonight it was delicious! Our go to are caterpillar, love affair, coconut lover, dragon roll, and a few others we decided not to get today. My fiancé decided to try the red tiger, angry dragon and DJ. He devoured them and said they had the right amount of heat. I love the fried brussel sprouts but it had a little much eel sauce which made them really sweet. The veggie tempura is always my favorite and their dipping sauce is also my favorite sauce to dip my sushi in. I ordered shrimp and crab nigiri and there was like a 1/2 teaspoon of rice which was a little odd to me. Never seen such little rice on nigiri before. Overall it is one our go to spots and we always recommend them to family and friends. If you come after 9pm the dinner AYCE is the same price as lunch. (Lunch $27/ Dinner $34) read more

We have been going to sushi bomb for years and have always really enjoyed it. Ive noticed that the staff has seemed to have somewhat of a turnover but everyone is very nice. We were there a couple weeks ago and the quoted 40 min. Wait time was actually 1hr 10min. The service was slow moving but we didn't mind because it was very busy. Then they forgot one of our parties order so he sat for 30 min after our food came waiting patiently until we asked the server who was surprised it never came out. Then a drink wasn't brought. Everyone was in good spirits and we were just going with it at that point. I think one of the rolls was also forgotten. There wasn't much consistency with the service....at all. What is consistent is the food, it's always on point and the staff is always nice. I was surprised however there wasn't an offer to take even a drink off the meal after so many mishaps. If I have a lot of time and patience I will go back, if it's an occasion like a birthday we were celebrating last time we were there, I might think twice. read more

We've always loved coming to Sushi Bomb in the past. The staff was consistently friendly, the atmosphere was always vibin', and the food used to be excellent. The nigiri was perfectly balanced with little to no rice, allowing the flavor of the fish to shine, and the rolls were always flavorful and well put together. Unfortunately, tonight was a very different experience. The nigiri had way too much rice--so much that we couldn't even taste the fish. The rolls were noticeably larger, but only because they were packed with excessive rice rather than quality balance. We're not sure if there's new ownership or changes in the kitchen, but the food didn't sit well with either myself or my wife. The only reason this visit earned 3 stars is because the staff remained friendly and welcoming. Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be coming back anymore. read more

I've been to Sushi Bomb before and used to really enjoy it, but this time was disappointing. It's clear they're short-staffed--there was only one person handling the orders and he was also serving customers, which created a very inefficient flow, especially during lunch rush. To make matters worse, the staff member was drinking on the job, which I felt was unprofessional, particularly with the place getting busy. I understand it's a small space, but when it's peak hours, that should definitely wait. I also overheard that the kitchen was backed up, which shows that staffing issues aren't just front-of-house. During busy times, they really need more workers to keep up with demand and maintain a smoother experience. Sadly, based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning to Sushi Bomb. I hope they can take this feedback into account and improve moving forward. read more

Ordered 2 orders of the teriyaki beef today via Grubhub. The beef was tough and fat, definitely low quality. Have ordered this teriyaki Beef before and today was the absolutely worst. The rice was good, the salads and miso too, but the beef was so bad I couldn't eat it and after a few attempts, threw it away. Carrots used to be included, but today only a few pieces of broccoli. Needless to say, I won't order this food again. Also for the first time, even though I checked the box on the website, no chopsticks, napkins or soy sauce. Change of menu since the last time I was there, which was earlier this year. Food was still good, however they removed a decent amount of the menu. The place was pretty busy at the time we went for lunch menu. They only had one person taking orders, seating people and checking people out. There were two other employees bringing out waters and cleaning tables, every once in a while they would bring you your food. The wait in between ordering and getting your food was crazy long, I believe two of their sushi chefs were in training. One of my orders they were bringing it out and dropped a few pieces of the sushi roll. The waiter was very friendly though and offered to have another one made, which I declined as it was just a few pieces. Great service by this person the whole time. Hopefully it is just training the new people that was making service slower than usual. The decor in this place was super cute, the decor was mainly in the arts of the wall. There's enough space where it doesn't feel like you're sitting next to each other but it is a pretty small restaurant. The service was really great although they were extremely busy they wait for three people was about an hour and 15 minutes. I did go on a Friday night, and my friends and I did decide to stay and wait. Once we got our table we got to order right away and our food came in about 10 minutes. They were a bit slow on refilling the water but then again they were extremely busy. We were able to eat our food and peace and not feel rush whatsoever. And find it funny how you're queued in for your food order the restaurant and they tell you pick up is at X time. The you go and it's past X time and it's still not ready. Music is too loud sometimes and even the serves have you repeat what you say. I feel like the only reason why this place can remain open is its location and the fact that where it's at there's not another AYCE for a few more exits up. We loved sushi bomb! Came out late while visiting family in Summerlin. This was a hidden gem with super fresh fish and great late night hours. Even though it was open late night, there was not a bunch of drunk people or a huge mess caused by the same kind of crowd. Staff struck that great balance between providing everything you needed and not being intrusive. They maintained the great late night hours without sacrificing any of the quality or dining experience. I would definitely go back next time we are in Vegas. read more

The truffle yellowtail had enough taste of truffle that it mixed well. The garlic tuna was great and the nigiri rolls did not disappoint. Sushi Bomb has been on my radar for many months. I wanted sushi so I drove the couple of miles here to give it a try. I was seated at a two top table and it was very comfortable. Water was brought and I looked over the AYCE menu. I decided to go easy and not leave filling like I had eaten too much. I started with a bowl of miso. It was one of the best I have had. Rich broth and a great starter. I ordered the pork belly and crazy jalapeño to get started. Both were quite good. The sauce on the pork belly was outstanding! Then came time for some rolls. Basic rolls can be ordered as a half roll which is great if you want to taste a number of different rolls. I don't remember the one I ordered but the second was something that I won't forget. It's a roll called the au de toilet. I was warned when I ordered this that it was their spiciest roll. It was spicy and I left feeling the heat. The roll consists of spicy tuna, cucumber topped with sautéed exotic spicy scallop, shrimp, mushroom and onion / eel sauce. It was fantastic and it will bring tears to your eyes and your mouth will feel like it's on fire, but it's so worth it. After that, I decided to have mango mochi for dessert, partly to cool my mouth from the au de toilet roll. Service was very good. The fish is nice and fresh. We came back again as usual because of the cool Japanese decor and great service. We had the Orange Blossom Roll, & Coconut Lover Roll. We tried something new annd we loved the Johnny Roll! The Salmon Cheese Sticks were also interesting! I had my usual Teriyaki Salmon; they come served on a sizzling platter.
