    Nigiri
    Jeffrey H.

We've always loved coming to Sushi Bomb in the past. The staff was consistently friendly, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere was always vibin'[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the food used to be excellent. The nigiri was perfectly balanced with little to no rice, allowing the flavor of the fish to shine, and the rolls were always flavorful and well put together. Unfortunately, tonight was a very different experience. The nigiri had way too much rice--so much that we couldn't even taste the fish. The rolls were noticeably larger, but only because they were packed with excessive rice rather than quality balance. We're not sure if there's new ownership or changes in the kitchen, but the food didn't sit well with either myself or my wife. The only reason this visit earned 3 stars is because the staff remained friendly and welcoming. Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be coming back anymore.

Waited almost 30 minutes only for this butter mushroom ): That includes getting the order and getting it to our table.

I've been to Sushi Bomb before and used to really enjoy it, but this time was disappointing. It's clear they're short-staffed--there was only one person handling the orders and he was also serving customers, which created a very inefficient flow, especially during lunch rush. To make matters worse, the staff member was drinking on the job, which I felt was unprofessional, particularly with the place getting busy. I understand it's a small space, but when it's peak hours, that should definitely wait. I also overheard that the kitchen was backed up, which shows that staffing issues aren't just front-of-house. During busy times, they really need more workers to keep up with demand and maintain a smoother experience. Sadly, based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning to Sushi Bomb. I hope they can take this feedback into account and improve moving forward.

Service was okay. The server did a good job explaining ayce vs alacarte Food tasted amazing. Several hours late it was not so amazing when it came up, and we were in the bathroom.

It's been 8 years since I have been here. Not because it's bad but because I don't live close enough. However, I was close today and here we are. The sushi was delicious and the service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice. This restaurant is worth the visit!!

We love going to Sushi Bomb! It's a great, clean establishment with friendly and attentive service. They offer AYCE for a very reasonable price and they also offer half rolls. During peak times, there may be a wait for a table but it's worth it!

If I could give this place a higher review I would. Best sushi place I have ever tried with the best AYCE options!!!!! If you are in the are in the area you need to come here :))))))

Change of menu since the last time I was there, which was earlier this year. Food was still good, however they removed a decent amount of the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was pretty busy at the time we went for lunch menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They only had one person taking orders, seating people and checking people out. There were two other employees bringing out waters and cleaning tables, every once in a while they would bring you your food. The wait in between ordering and getting your food was crazy long, I believe two of their sushi chefs were in training. One of my orders they were bringing it out and dropped a few pieces of the sushi roll. The waiter was very friendly though and offered to have another one made, which I declined as it was just a few pieces. Great service by this person the whole time. Hopefully it is just training the new people that was making service slower than usual. Will still give this place a chance as their food is typically really good quality and the flavor is great!

New menu, new prices, same enjoyment. The menu has been trimmed but still offer enough quality selections to justify the price increase. Quick and friendly service.

The decor in this place was super cute, the decor was mainly in the arts of the wall. There's enough space where it doesn't feel like you're sitting next to each other but it is a pretty small restaurant. The service was really great although they were extremely busy they wait for three people was about an hour and 15 minutes. I did go on a Friday night, and my friends and I did decide to stay and wait. Once we got our table we got to order right away and our food came in about 10 minutes. They were a bit slow on refilling the water but then again they were extremely busy. We were able to eat our food and peace and not feel rush whatsoever. The food was extremely good my personal favorite was the salmon lasagna, it was so filling and overall just very yummy. I would definitely come again on a less busy day

Are there any take out specials? Or do people actually pay the menu price for a roll?

There are no take out specials, I highly recommend eating in The all you can eat is the best price. Paying menu prices per piece will add up quickly. Plus you get to try many…

Do you have no rice rolls?

    Yeah they do

    Are they offering curbside pickup?

Yes! Just call ahead to place your order.

Has there been a change to the way you allow guests to dine? Do I have to schedule a reservation, or can I still walk in like before?

Have to have an appointment since Obergruppenführer Steve Sisolak announced his last "statewide pause." We came in and had to make an appointment for 2 hours later, they would not take us in.

How many people are allowed in a party due to COVID restrictions?

We've been there several times since social distancing was implemented. We've seen parties of 6-8. They rearrange the tables to accommodate larger parties. Enjoy !!

The only thing that stood out during that visit was that our server made us feel like we were ordering too much while taking our order, which was a little uncomfortable. Still, I enjoyed the food enough that I decided to come back for takeout. Unfortunately, my second experience changed my impression of the restaurant. I placed a takeout order totaling about $70 and waited at one of the many empty tables while my food was being prepared. There were no customers waiting to be seated, yet a staff member approached me and told me that the waiting area was by the door. I found that unnecessary and honestly quite offensive. I wasn't occupying a table that anyone needed, and I was simply waiting quietly for an order I had just spent a significant amount of money on. Prior to being shooed to leave the dining area, she asked if I would just come back for my order. Lol! It's disappointing to feel like takeout customers are treated differently, especially when they're supporting the business just the same. Not sure if it's a cultural way of doing business but it was tacky and unprofessional. The food is good, but customer service is just as important. I hope management reconsiders how they treat guests picking up takeout, because experiences like this can easily overshadow an otherwise enjoyable meal. I give their food 3.5/5, price 2.5/5, location 2/5 (next to a donation place) customer service 1/5, and business ethics ZERO.

I went with the 12 piece toku-jo sushi, which is essentially the chef's selection of their best offerings. The assortment was so creative and eclectic. I have been eating sushi for years, and there were some pieces I didn't recognize. But everything was downright delicious and so fresh, including one of the most yummy fatty pieces of otoro I have ever had! The staff are so sweet and attentive. There were several ladies who seemed to be sharing hostess and server duties. All were so kind and struck the perfect balance between ensuring everything with the experience was perfect, but not being too overbearing or obtrusive. One of the sushi chefs even came out to personally deliver a dish to the table next to me, and she made a quick stop to ask me if I was enjoying her creations. The downsides. I was by myself and arrived just after opening at about 5:20pm. The place was totally empty except for one single table. I didn't have a reservation, and the hostess was really agonizing about seating me. I was by myself and the place was empty! She even had to go in back and presumably speak with the manager or the chefs to get approval to seat me, which she finally did. But by the time I departed at about 6:15pm, only one other table had arrived and seated! I just find stuff like that annoying. But I guess they take their reservation policy seriously, so just call ahead, especially if you are a group. It appears they are closing soon for renovations. I sure hope that includes upgrading their air conditioning. Granted I visited on a 113 degree day, but the A/C system was not keeping up. I was sweating at my table, and actually accelerated my eating so I could leave and get back into he comfort of the cold AC of my car. It was that hot in there. A Las Vegas restaurant MUST be prepared to provide a comfortable environment on even the hottest of days. But all-in-all I recommend this spot, and I will be back, **with** a reservation and on a **cooler** day!!

There were about 5 tables plus seats at the sushi bar. Restrooms are in the back of the restaurant... they were very clean. My server, Yayoi, was super friendly and very hospitable. She made sure my dining experience was exceptional and it was! Thank you Yayoi for your excellent service and our wonderful conversation! I started my dinner with Kaiso Salad (salad that contains seaweed), Premium Sashimi49 (over 25 pieces of fish and other seafood), and Iced Green Tea. I slowly added on a few sushi... Bigfin Reef Squid, Yaki Harasu Nigiri (salmon belly), Unagi Nigiri (fresh water eel), and Botan Ebi (shrimp) in sashimi style (2 pieces each order). I ended my meal with one scoop of wonderful Green Tea Ice Cream... YUM! What an amazing meal to remember! Everything and I mean everything was so divinely delicious. Fresh, fresh, and fresh! Highly recommend this place. Thank you sashimi and sushi chefs for the amazing fish selections!

The sushi roll was 8 pieces of spicy salmon. Along with the package there were small packets of soy sauce, wasabi paste, and pickled ginger. The price was $17.99. I also decided to try one of their fruit sandwiches. I got the apricot and strawberry one. It's made like a sandwich but it's a kind of spongecake. The items were all packaged well. While this may not be the quality of sushi you'd get at a sushi restaurant, it was certainly a step up from what is available in grocery stores.
