Larry, with Hello Sharpness, does an amazing job if you or your tools are feeling dull. First I had him do my large shrub clippers, which now make bushes shudder as I approach. He then did my lawnmower blades -- awesome again. Both were done on Saturday at O'Tooles, Federal & Belleview. When I found out he could sharpen pinking shears I was so lucky, as he stopped by my house and fixed me up making my scissors better than they were when I bought them about 30 yrs. ago. I have never had my knives sharpened before. I usually just throw them away and purchase another set. However today I was searching for a local company that could sharpen my knives because I found some companies online, however I would have to wait a week to get my knives back. I contacted Hello Sharpness and they were amazing! I dropped my knives off (10 knives and a pair of scissors) and I was able to pick them up in a couple of hours. Have had a set of A.J. Henkel chef knives for years and when they started getting dull, I wasn't sure what to do. Run into the Hello Sharpness van at ACE Hardware on 120th in Thornton. I went back to my house to pickup my knives and returned. I asked them pricing and lead time...they sharpened while I waited (10 minutes), oiled the wood handles and provided new sleeves, free. Larry did a fantastic job on our kitchen knives, scissors, hoe, sledgehammer and saw. He has everything set up in his bus to do almost any job. He can even sharpen serrated blade. He's very friendly and really knows what he is doing. I highly recommend his service and Hello Sharpnes. Love this trio of sharpeners. I've only used them twice, but so far they've sharpened my buck knife, my EDC, and a WWII samurai sword, and I have been nothing but impressed.
