I'm giving three stars because the spa itself is very beautiful and the gentleman doing my cool sculpting was very nice. I was told that it would take one session to see results from cool sculpting. I am 120 lbs and had a baby 3 years ago and still have a bit of excess fat on my stomach. I waited three months for the results and I can honestly say this service has done literally nothing for me. Have horrible aches since working from home and being less mobile. I searched multiple massage places and was underwhelmed by their offerings. Spa society is a true "spa" compared to the places in a strip mall. I signed up to be party of the "society". It's $89/month and you get a complimentary massage or facial with that. You also get discounts on other spa services and even their medi-spa, Rose health (I've been there too, but that will be a separate review). If you're looking for a frat facial- try the fire and ice facial. They put you in a pod that is sooo relaxing while you're getting your facial. Now massages.. the Swedish massage was really good and felt me feeling refreshed. Now let's talk deep tissue.. I am more of a deep tissue massage person (see above for that bad posture and achy muscles). I have had over 200 massages in my life and this was one of THE BEST. see Fernando for that. After two skin tightening treatments I could see results, after three, I was ecstatic. I can't wait to see what happens when I finish with the last three. Alisha my technician is wonderful, it's a very relaxing procedure without any down time. I started off with cool sculpting which gave me a good base. I helped my boyfriend book through classpass and they cancelled our reservation without any notification. Their hours over the phone are until 8pm, and he showed up at 6pm for his appointment and they're closed. On the main page for their classpass business (photos attached) they have a sweet description of the business. I thought that was enough to book and didn't care to look through the rest of the About. However, nice and hidden at the bottom of their description is a disclaimer that appointments are not guaranteed. If you want your customers to know that, make it visible on the front page. Literally no other business I've used on classpass doesn't guarantee a reservation I've booked through it, and I've been cancelled on by a different business, and they were actually professional and notified me. Wasted his time traveling to and from the appointment and trying to claw our credits back from classpass on the last day of our billing month that we could use them. read more

My first experience at this place - I got a massage from Stephanie, who was so particular about the clock that when I said I need to use restroom she was like that time would be deducted from the massage time!! I was a bit taken aback to hear that. Anyway, the massage went well I thought, until after couple hours I had a bad ache in my left neck and shoulder, it was swollen and I was in so much pain later at night. Regretting getting a massage from here. I've never experienced any pain after massage from any place else before. NEVER going back. read more

I originally went in for a consultation last week and I was initially told the total cost would be $5,250. Then at the desk, I was told that was incorrect and it is in fact $5,650...but then the gentleman was working through numbers on the calculator and the numbers didn't even add up to what he was saying. Then I was charged for the sessions which was short either one or two...from a customer perspective, can you not see how that is VERY unsettling...especially since you have ALREADY run my card for $4,894. Then on the write up, the figures are scratched out and seemingly haphazardly filled in. You can say I walked away from the spa excited but very unsettled. Then, the phone call to inform me the services for Friday have been double booked. Again, from a customer experience perspective, given what happened at the initial consult and scheduling...I had to question myself if it was done intentionally to lock in my card and grab the funds. To reiterate, it does not feel good to need to ask myself that. Then, the call I received yesterday was both unexpected in the middle of the work day and abrupt. At first it took a minute to understand where the call was coming from and then after telling me my services for Friday have been cancelled, I had said we would look at the calendar on Saturday when I was in store. I was pushed to give a date right then and there. The company is stating the funds are non refundable...after they called me to say my services have been cancelled for the date agreed to. I have had to file a dispute with my credit card company. If this is how they do business, I would strongly suggest you find capable hands. read more

I came to Spa Society for a massage/facial promo that I got at an amazing price and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The spa is very modern, clean, and the staff was welcoming. My masseuse was right on time but I got there a little early and the staff didn't hesitate to offer me a cool towel since it was pretty hot out and asked me if I needed anything else. I love when places go out of their way like that since it isn't necessary. My massage was fantastic and afterwards they brought me into the room for my "fire and ice facial" with Mercedes and even though I expected a bed there was actually a heated/vibrating pod that you lay in during your facial. It felt incredibly high end and futuristic. Mercedes was SO thorough and informative about the process since I had never gotten a facial before. It made me feel very comfortable and I left knowing way more about my skin than I expected to. Spa society definitely exceeded my expectations and it's great to know I have such a gem just 15mins away from where I live in Jersey City. Totally check them out! read more

Started going to Spa Society pre-Covid for massages, which were always fantastic no matter who the therapist was. I started getting bad break-outs on my face (probably due to mask) and after two facial sessions and some great advice I am just about back to normal. This is a clean and luxurious facility with reasonable prices for the area. read more

I planned a ladies day for myself and 4 others at Spa 810Weehawken. The manager, Andrews, was very accommodating while I was trying to schedule services for 5 women who'd never been there before. There is ample parking in lots in either end of the block, and the space is beautiful,very modern and streamlined, with a bright and airy reception area, and quiet, softly lit, soothing interior. The staff was attentive from the moment we walked in, with water and cool scented towels, and gracious about our preference for the champagne we'd brought. The treatment rooms were small but luxe, with comfortable linens. The scented oils were delicate, not overwhelming. The entire space was incredibly clean. We had 3 massages and 2 facials between the 5 of us, and every one thoroughly enjoyed their services. I had a deep tissue massage with a hot stone add on with Raymond... wow. Just wow. I walked out of that treatment rooms new woman, with increased range of motion in the shoulder that always gives me trouble. The prices are very reasonable, and you'd be a fool not to take advantage of their current special. I'm actually considering a membership. I would definitely recommend Spa 810. Can't wait to go back for a facial and my next massage. read more

Went today for a couples massage. The only reason this place gets two stars is because Rosemary was great. First of all, they charge you 40 dollars extra to make it a couple massage when it's just two separate rooms with a door open between. Absolutely ridiculous. We were suppose to get swedish massages, but my husband said his was so deep tissue he expects bruises tomorrow. I could hear him saying owe multiple times from the room next door. The worst part of the entire experience was post massage. I went to the front desk, and wanted to pay. The very rude receptionist said "we need you to fill out the consent form we sent you". (Strange they want this AFTER my massage). I asked when she sent it to my email, she said when I arrived. Well, obviously I hadn't checked my email WHILE I was getting a massage. I checked my email, no consent forms there. I had her resend it to another email address. Still didn't come. I asked if I could fill it out on paper. She said no very rudely and just stared at me. I said "I don't know what you want me to do, I'm not getting it in my email and I would like to pay so I can leave". Again, she just looked at me. I asked to send it to my husband's email address. She said no she couldn't do that because it would change his information in the system. I asked how his info was in the system, she said "it was given to us". My husband has never been to this place.... So I just asked again how we could solve the problem. And then she let me fill them out from her computer. My husband never filled out a consent form..... Nothing. It was one of the worst spa experiences I have ever had and I won't be back. I feel like I wasted 330 dollars. For mediocre massages, and a rude staff member. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

This place is amazing, beautiful & super clean. But the staff and the technicians are what make the place. First let me start with Kristy who is amazing at everything she does, her knowledge on skin care, body treatments, cosmetic treatments is wonderful. tKristy really looks out for your best interest and getting the results you need. I have been doing RF treatments & I have actually seen physical results! It's mind blowing and I have tried so many other things. I have cleaned up my diet & excerise a little bit, not alot, but combining all of these things, I have lost inches EVERYWHERE! My double chin, my arm fat, my waistline, my inner thighs, I 've lost 2 tp 3 inches. My clothing fits me loose! I am so happy with my treatments. Ariana also is another great tech, she really gets in there, while passing the RF machine on your body. You just tell her where to go & she goes to town! She is super sweet too. I had a facial done with Debra and she is super gentle. This was the 1st facial I had done with with extractions & it didn't hurt! She is very thorough and constantly asking you if you are comfortable. She gives an incredible temple & neck massage, she put me to sleep. Taneiyah at the front desk is always super friendly & accomdating. She has the best curls too:-) The entire staff cares about their patients and that means the world to me. Great customer service and massage experience. Andrew, the manager, worked diligently to ensure that my appointment was rescheduled quickly when there was a snafu with the online appointment booking. He also worked out the issue with a gift card I was trying to use to pay for part of the service. He did exactly what a manager should do to promote his business and keep customer satisfied, which is NOT something I experience usually. Thank you again! As for the massage experience, Jennifer was amazing. She's professional, calm, listened to what I wanted, and I would highly recommend her. She indicated what she was going to do next (e.g., if she was putting a hot towel on my back and asked if she could put an aromatherapy mask over my eyes before just doing it). Really really love coming here. I signed up to be a member a few months ago and have had nothing but great experiences since then. I normally see Kristi for my radio frequency. Conversation is always great with her and she always caters to me and my busy schedule. Today I had my first facial with Jess and now I love this place even more. They put you in a pod that lightly vibrates and heats your body while you get your facial (you also burn 200 calories each time you get in it, heck yeah). Jess was so knowledgeable and really gave me some great advice on what I should be doing to better my skin health. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

Staff is very nice and friendly but unfortunately I had horrible results after my visit. I have been to this location several times for facial treatments but this time I decided to try the Botox around my upper lip area. I have a gummy smile, so it was recommended to reduce and enhance my smile. Unfortunately this was NOT the case. I decided to get Botox a week prior to vacation because I was told that it takes about a week for the Botox to kick in. A week later, still no results of it helping reduce my smile in fact I had an even more gummier smile!! I also noticed that the Botox depressed my upper lip and ruined my top filler. Now my lip lost all the filler it had in it, my smile is more gummier. This was a total waste of time and money!! I will NEVER return here again. This is a scam!! read more
