Well since I work in Tinley Park interesting to pass by this area heading up north on Harlem seeing a halal Middle Eastern restaurant also called hello shawarma tied up with hello Thai? I decided to do a bucket list today after leaving work and trying this place out . It's not really a formal Thai restaurant but at the same time hopefully their version of ty being Middle Eastern is good? Service was a little disappointing because as an appetizer I expected them to give the egg roll first then the main dish which they gave ahead. I ordered the chicken green curry and a vegetable egg roll. They had crabgrass room but it's a little over a price for $5. Even for the chicken curry was $15.99 as for the shrimp and beef it was $16.99. I think it's really weird that they would put a slice of lime with an egg roll? Although this is more Chinese for this kind of egg roll they don't even use lime which is not really authentic. They did give two sauces one was called yum yum which I think is equivalent to sweet and sour but it looked more creamy than transparent. Another one was something else. In regards to the egg roll it was tasty I ordered the vegetable egg roll. Was juicy inside. And the wrapper was not too dry. Ask her the green curry it does have the spiciness of an authentic thai Curry dish but it doesn't use the traditional ingredients of bamboo shoots and they use broccoli they did not use the basil that makes thai cuisine authentic. Quality of the food wise was recently okay but in regards to it being authentic thai that's why I can't give it a four or five stars. I do give credit for it being spicy just like in Thailand. I'll have to come back here on the other side for hello shawarma but I don't think I would make this a favorite to come back for thai if I crave for real thai cuisine. A bit overpriced for that.

This was my first time there & I'm very pleased. I had the pad Thai with chicken. The food was freshly made to order & really good & it's a huge serving. It's enough to last a few days

I can't even finish this unfortunately, it's overly spiced as if they dropped the bottle of spices on it by accident..

Stir fry noodles was very delicious however the curry is NOTHING like a real Thai curry. It's thick like there's no soup as in an authentic Thai curry and no coconut milk just lots of curry paste and lots of spice powders. I have to say the ingredients are fresh and good but the taste is not right... they need to work more on their curries , I'm being harsh because I'm a huge fan of Thai food and was hoping that this halal Thai place would be good but I'm bummed I can't even finish my plate because it's too spicy and it killed the flavor

Excellent food, fresh ingredients, huge portions, great customer service. This place stays packed and sometimes they run out of food.

The family‑run warmth is immediate, from the friendly service to handwritten signs highlighting the chef's specials. Dining as a pair, we started with the Cida Sampler, which includes two of each of their most popular appetizers--perfect for sharing and getting a taste of everything. My husband ordered the Broccoli Beef: tender slices of beef in a rich, savory gravy with perfectly steamed broccoli. Brown rice was available for a small upcharge, which he happily opted for. I chose the Roast Duck Red Curry, and one standout feature here is the ability to customize spice levels. I went super mild and still got deep, satisfying flavor without any heat overload. We ended on a high note with dessert: a silky, nutty Thai custard and a slice of green tea cheesecake--both excellent and well worth saving room for. Highly recommended if you're looking for flavorful, thoughtfully prepared Thai food in an unassuming setting.

My friend and I strolled into Thithi's on a Tuesday evening and it was poppin! The bar was full and there were several tables filled with happy diners. Our server, who was friendly enough but seemed performative, came by and immediately asked for our drink and app orders. She didn't go over the menu or ask if we had any questions. Since I had already checked out the apps, we ordered the seafood crispy rolls and two iced teas. She came back and asked if we were ready to order---once again, she didn't ask if we had any questions. Since I was torn between the spicy bail catfish curry and the banana curry duck, I asked which one she would recommend. She said the catfish was very popular and highly recommended it, so I went with that. My friend ordered the beef tenderloin pho. Our seafood rolls arrived and they were very tasty, but could have used a touch of finishing salt. Soon after our entrees arrived. Well, she was right about the catfish, it was amazing!!! Very flavorful, with a thick and creamy, -curry cream sauce and tender chunks of catfish. The portion was huge and we were able to share it with plenty for me to take to lunch the next day. I tried my friend's pho and it was quite good. He loved it and polished off the huge bowl of phoey goodness. After looking at the dessert menu, the apple crisp with ice cream looked tasty so we ordered that to share. It was delicious. Now here comes the bill. My friend took a look, reached for his wallet and pulled out two, crisp $100 bills. A bell went off in my brain and according to my math, the bill should have been a little under $100, I mean, yeah, maybe all he had were those two hundos and needed to leave a tip, but something told me to ask him if they included gratuity. He didn't have his reading glasses on and asked me to take a closer look at the bill. Sure enough, they included gratuity. That's just shady business practice to me. Most restaurants nowadays have a written notice on the menu or the server will kindly tell you gratuity is included, but not at this place. He was pissed, because he was absolutely going to leave a nice cash tip. Even though the food was delicious and we both want to go back, it just left a bad taste in our mouths.
