I went during lunch during Christmas break so I anticipated a busy environment (& I wasn't wrong). Please remind your servers if you are missing anything, as they were trying their best to keep track. The space is small and a little chilly. It's showing wear and tear from constant clientele use but they decorate it adorably. The food was incredible! I ordered appetizers, a lunch special and to-go meals. Every dish was delicious! They serve Boba drinks that rival Chinatown's. As a result, I found my new favorite dish; beef peanut sauce curry over white rice! Decades ago, Chi Tung used to serve a similar dish but they served it with a buttery Roti bread but they discontinued it and I haven't found a replacement dish since...until now. I was even more excited to see that they also had sesame balls w/ sweet bean paste. These are some of my all-time favorite treats (I'm so glad they have them on the menu)! Second time at Ings. The first time I thought it was nothing special but the staff was friendly enough to give them a second try months later. Unfortunately I remain disappointed. Coconut Boba: 3.5/5 - Tasty coconut drink but the boba was stale and hard boba Tiger Boba: 2.5/5 - Nothing special, and the stale boba made it truly subpar. Pad Thai: 3/5 Delicious tofu, fried very well, but the sauce was way too sweet and did not have much flavor besides sugar and peanuts. Beef "chow" mein: 2/5 Fatty, tough beef. Instead of preparing true fried chow mein they simply added a bag of fried crispy bits. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and fast but couldn't help me apply a coupon because supposedly coupons the restaurant sent aren't usable online. read more

My husband introduced me to ings when we started dating over 11 years ago and it has been our go to for the best Chinese food in the area. I order a pick up order, paid for it, came in and young lady at the register told me it wasn't ready, then she couldn't find it. I showed my bank deduction of the order. Then I asked for a supervisor and she decided to take care of 4 customers and not call the supervisor. I go to the bar and ask for a supervisor, the supervisor comes out as this young girl decides to let me know her thoughts of my attitude. I am showing the supervisor the website and bank charges and magically my order appears. He apologizes and goes to make the order, they made a mistake and didn't make the order when I placed it and since this little girl didn't look for them to try to find it then I had to wait some more. At my age, I want to order, pick up and leave. I do not want to deal with lazy teenagers with bad basic customer service skills and no solutions to my order. I will not be back. There's plenty of places within the same price range but with great customer service and great food. I do not recommend this place. read more

This restaurant has the China Town but located in Burbank IL. The service was amazing. The waiter was attentive to details and we didn't have to ask for anything. The food is delicious. Starting with appetizers. The tempura shrimp and spring rolls were both crispy and flavorful. Then we enjoyed the entrees, Ing's palace fried rice, pepper steak and Ing's palace War Mein noodles. I ordered from here and we did not have the best experience. My sesame chicken was absolutely disgusting, to the point where nobody in my family would eat it and we threw the entire dinner away. I don't even think it was chicken to be honest, I don't know what it was but it had a really weird taste, and the pieces were shaped all different. The sauce on the bottom tasted like a weird sweet-and-sour but then had little parts that looked almost purple. Yuck! The crab rangoons were good but extremely greasy. Oil was running down my hand holding it. My fiancé ordered the Mongolian chicken dinner, which was OK. We definitely will not be back. read more

I grew up going to Ing's when it was on Harlem and let me be the first to say I love the new location and decor!! The kids miss the fish tank and coy but it is well worth the trade for location. Also, Morty is absolutely awesome, hands down you will love your experience more if he is your server. We always start with a combo platter but everyone was pretty hungry so sorry no picture of that. Also a scorpion is a must but watch out they will sneak up on you. Also, feel free to blow out and add the 151 they light in fire to the liquid but realize it's going to stiffen the drink significantly. My favorite dish is the spicy General's from here. We also had the spicy Mongolian beef, garlic beef add tomatoes, pressed duck and sweet and sour chicken. I had everything but the chicken and it was all excellent. The kids also love the fortune and almond cookies brought at the end of the meal. Ing's is the best Chinese food I have had with the exception of maybe Three Happiness in the city, well worth your visit!! read more

Well this was a treat.... One of my favorite meals is any kind of Asian and I really enjoy finding good places around Chicagoland... First off we ordered the honey lemon tea And the mango cheese mousse fruit tea.... The honey lemon tea was delicious.. The mango cheese mousee fruit tea was a little different. It had a good flavor,I was just having a hard time with with the texture of the mousse in the beverage..... So for appetizers we had the egg rolls and the crab rangoon.... The egg rolls which me favoring peanut butter ...pushes this to the top of my fav list..... We ordered orange chicken Mongolian chicken And the drunken noodles.. as Orange chicken was a hit the Mongolian chicken was good. I prefer restaurants that use hoisin sauce in the Mongolian beef or chicken... I did ask for a side because it lacked the flavor that I was looking for.. now the drunken noodles was very soy saucy... On 8/2 at 8pm I ordered the shrimp egg foo young and it was bland and had literally no gravy as well as no utensils were included so I couldn't eat at work. I was told to come and pick up more gravy but that wasn't an option as I only have 1/2 an hour for lunch. read more

Ordered take out from this place and be WEARY. The shrimp fried rice tasted terrible and I disposed of it immediately. It smelled and tasted like the shrimp was expired because of the rotten smell and taste and the shrimp was as soft as tissue. Yuck! read more

I was a little apprehensive driving all the way out to Burbank for Chinese food when there are so many good Chinese restaurants in Chicago. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Ing's Palace was very good. First, they have a huge variety of food. They have a big menu of boba tea, Chinese food, Thai food, Japanese food and a full bar. I went with a friend and we enjoyed exploring the menu. We didn't try their Thai food, but did enjoy what we ate. Second, their food is good. This place is like a very good version of your local Chinese carry out restaurant. I got the strawberry latte to start, and liked it a lot. It's comparable to what you would get at a boba shop in Chicago. Also, we started out with a fun drink called the a scorpion bowl. It's basically a mixed drink in a bowl with a fame in the middle. It was fun to drink and very boozy. The Chinese food was delicious. They had all of my favorites on the menu, and they did them well. I'm big fan Mongolian beef, so I had to order the dry Mongolian beef. I've never had dry Mongolian beef. It lived up to its name (in a good way). While it's not super saucy like other the Mongolian beef I've had, it was smokey and flavorful. This is a must order. I also especially liked the sushi rolls I tried. I didn't get any traditional rolls. Instead I opted for the Mexican roll and the summer roll. I enjoyed them. If want to be adventurous and try something different, these are the rolls for you. Third, I enjoyed the ambiance. The restaurant was well lit and lively. A lot of customers seemed to regulars and all seemed to be having a good time. The restaurant even had many TVs for with sports. Fourth, the service was good. Our waitress was nice and brought the food out at a good pace. In sum, for the area, this is a must visit. read more

Amazing food and service and ambiance! I went there often from 1987 to 1992 and even back then, the food was on a different level than any other Chinese restaurant. Moved about 45 minutes away and didn't go there until this summer 2024. We were not disappointed, the new location is great and the menu is better and the food is absolutely delicious.
