    5 Piece Crab Rangoon
    Dominic E.

I recently ordered takeout from Bree Thai while staying at a close by hotel to fly out of Midway the next morning. I'm glad to have found this as the food was really good! I tried the Crab Rangoon, Wonton Soup, and Larb Salad. The Crab Rangoon was good. While each piece could have used more filling, the filling was delicious and tasted of real crab. If it was indeed real crab, I can understand the carefully metered filling within each Rangoon. They were nicely fried and even after being packed and driven back to my hotel, they were still crisp and crunchy. The Wonton Soup was a warm delight in the cold (to me) Chicago weather. The broth was so warm, hearty, and flavorful. It really warmed me up while tasting exquisitely. The dumplings within the soup were generously filled with a great seasoned meat and veggie mix. I would order this every time. The larb gai (chicken) salad was ok. The chicken was bit on the dry side (even though it was in a highly flavored sauce. The chicken, red onions, carrots, and scallions, plus the sauce tasted great all together and was spiced perfectly. It was not too spicy but gave off the perfect amount of heat. I would definitely order from here again when staying overnight to fly out of Midway.

    Place is small but good

The service was excellent. The restaurant is very small with only 5 tables. The food was decent. The basil chicken dish that everyone is raving about, wasn't as amazing as I was expecting. This place non the less deserves a visit if you have never been before. Good little spot for the neighborhood.

We used to live near here and go often. After revisiting after years we were happy to see things haven't changed; it's still a great Thai place to eat! The Chicken Basil is excellent. The Fried lemon chicken is about the crispiest chicken you could ever eat. If you have a kid, order them this as it's got a simple elevated "chicken nugget" flavor they'll love. The coconut panang curry is also great. And don't leave without trying a mango sticky rice. There is nothing like this dessert anywhere in Chicago that I'm aware of. Service is great and the place is small but clean and has nice ambiance. We'll definitely be back!

My mom and I stopped here after we flew into midway airport. Needed food and to kill some time. The service here is absolutely incredible and kind. Quick, speedy, and the food is amazing. Best crab rangoons and Thai coffee I've ever had. You get your bang for your buck. Not many places to sit, seems to be more of a take out type of deal, but we came in with our suitcases and they immediately accommodated us! Highly recommend and would stop here again!

Close to midway airport ! Super cute and clean inside . Just a few tables , they do tons of Carry out ! Staff is super friendly , and helpful with the menu . I met a friend here for lunch as he had a 2 hour layover at midway and the location and timing was perfect . Tons of vegetarian and vegan options . We had veggie curry , stir fry veggies and Thai iced tea .

We stopped in for a late dinner and were instantly greeted and chose a table. The staff was very friendly and responsive throughout our dinner. We started with spring rolls and crab rangoon and it was crazy how fast they came out. The crab rangoon was definitely our favorite of the two but we enjoyed both. The spring rolls were unlike any I've had in the past and we couldn't quite determine why. They have a unique taste but the portion was perfect to share. For my entree, I had Pad Thai with chicken. They also give you a cup of their homemade hot sauce which was a great addition. The amount of meat in the dish was fantastic and the portion size was perfect. I prefer my Pad Thai slightly drier with less sauce but I still enjoyed it. Overall, small little restaurant that shouldn't be judged from the outside!

We were hungry after our flight and found this place nearby. I got the pad see ew lunch special and it comes with soup. The soup was tomato-based and filled with a variety of veggies. Think HK café style soup!! I really enjoyed the pad see ew! The portions may look small, but it's actually pretty filling. A solid Thai place next to the airport!

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! Slurped it all up! - Jina's Fried Chicken This was good, but not anything like out of this world. It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
