EDER told me ALEX is the owner and EDER WAS SO AWESOME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND SHOWED WHAT I ASKED! They have plenty of snacks for purchase in case you get hungry. This place has BUY AND TRADE MEMORABILIA!!! I got to hold a HIGH VALUE CARD!!! Yes I was delicate and the card is worth over 1K. Why have a comic book shop if you don't know anything about comics? Why have an extremely…read moredisorganized, messy, impossible to shop comic shop with only hundreds of identical issues from the last five years? I came in, and the employee asked what I was looking for, and I told him "All Star Squadron #25". It's a little niche, but anyone who works at a comic shop should know that title. It's a key issue in the late bronze age. The employee replied "Star Wars?" I said "No. All Star Squadron." He asked "From 1995?" Which nobody had said at all, and I replied "No, from 1983." He then asked "Is that the silver age?" Bro, what are you talking about? Do you know anything about your product? Why are you, the employee at the comic shop, asking me, the customer about your industry? After determining that the employee clearly doesn't read comic books, I poked around for a few minutes but this place is a huge mess, with destroyed long boxes with random cardboard boxes stacked on top, ruining the books. There are boxes lining the floor, making actually shopping incredibly difficult, and cramped. And on top of that, they have nothing pre-covid. This feels like the kind of place that would price gouge slabbed books to people who don't know any better. But the workers don't know any better either, so...

In my personal experience, handing him my cards was like dropping them into a black hole -- except a black hole would've had better communication. I gave him 14 cards to submit for grading over a year and a half ago, and every time I ask for an update, I get the same recycled excuse: "PSA still has them." At this point, even PSA would be impressed by how long he's managed to hide behind their name. And the moment I started pressing for answers? The professionalism evaporated. Suddenly the tone shifted, and let's just say the vibe became a lot less "business transaction" and a lot more "intimidation attempt." Not exactly the customer service experience anyone signs up for. If you enjoy being ignored, strung along indefinitely, and spoken to aggressively when you ask basic questions, this is your guy. Otherwise, I'd strongly recommend keeping your cards -- and your peace of mind -- far away.

As my boyfriend and I were browsing through their selection we decided to stop to take a picture at a mirror near one of their sections. I don't know if the employee knew how loud she was but we clearly heard her comment, "Every time people pass by that mirror they stop to take a picture. It's stupid. It's dumb." It dampened our moods completely. We didn't get to even finish looking at the front of the store. We put the item we had in our hand back in their place and left. Really saddened about the experience and the fact that we couldn't enjoy the rest of the store as we could see they had lots of variety and the prices seemed reasonable from what we did see. Here are some of the pictures we managed to take before leaving. Update: upon further review a lot of recent reviews seem to be about the same women with the same common factor. She only provides terrible atmosphere and service to people of color. Which is very disappointing to see that so many customers come excited to come and explore to only leave feeling worse due to something we can't change. Especially in this climate and day of age, it's saddening to see such hate being spread.

Cool little bookstore in town. They don't seem to have a…read morehuge selection but they still have a great variety of books. Kids books, fiction, non fiction, etc. Prices are a lot more affordable than most places as well. Just came in looking a bible but will definitely be back to see what more I can find here.
