I'm now part of the weekly league races and the community is fantastic. Jason has worked hard to make sure the racing is competitive and fair. All skill levels are encouraged to try and improve handling and track awareness to work up the league ranks (currently 3 formulas and endurance teams for iRacing special events like Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring). The shop has 10 rigs, all of them run iRacing and I believe they have all been outfitted with MOZA bases and pedals which are very svelte compared to my Fanatec DD at home. It's very beginner friendly and some days you'll also meet community members who help out around the shop. Great for: Arrive and Drive, solo or with friends Company functions / Birthday parties League nights!!

I was prepared to learn a lot about the track and get some practice in over the months before my race. What I wasn't prepared for was the community I would become a part of as a result of spending an evening getting to know the track. I have become a regular in the leagues and endurance team events, the F1 watch parties, and my personal favorite: Motorsports Christmas (F1 at Monaco, Indy 500, followed by Sim Racing). The ownership continue to reinvest in the sim rigs and has upgraded wheelbases and pedals since I started coming in. I have built a sim rig at home with help from Sim Racers Group and am constantly discussing upgrades with the staff. Even though I have a rig of my own I still enjoy coming into the Sim Racers Group for league racing and special events. If you're at all interested in Sim Racing, come in and run some laps at your favorite track and learn some tricks from Jason, he's super knowledgeable about sim racing as well as motorsports in general.

They gave a shoutout to my son using the mic, which was a nice touch. We hosted my daughter's birthday at Skyzone Curtner before but we like this location more as there are more diverse activities. Also, at Skyzone Meridian you can go back to play after eating your cake, which is not allowed to at Skyzone Curtner. Skyzone Meridian gave a drawstring bag as goodie bag to each kid with a Skyzone water bottle, a free pass to come back, a token for either icee or ice cream, and my son got a tee shirt and other goodies. It's so nice for us parents to relax and enjoy the party, and I would definitely consider hosting another party at this location the future.

The parking was a little annoying because of the number of birthday events going on and the large amounts of people coming and going. Be prepared to do a bit of walking and stay alert because there are a number of speeding vehicles that come through the lot. The check in process was easy enough but the speed of it all was non existent. Lines only continued to grow because it was so time consuming to process each visitor. This particular location is good in size. There are 2 large slides, a zip line, trampolines, foam pit, aerial ribbons, an obstacle course, and a designated area for tinier visitors. There are interactive games and basketball. Kudos to the person(s) who planned the setup of this Skyzone. I liked how there was plenty of seating for us parents. Massage chairs, couches, and benches are placed throughout the entire building. 3.5 stars overall because I wished there was actually more staff available to help the little ones down the slide. Some visitors were stuck at the very top and this only added to the long wait times. It took for older kids to assist in pushing the smaller kids & their mats down the slide. Staff was seen walking around but they just didn't seem too attentive.

It's been many many years since I've had food here, but I did always love getting a slurpee when I was younger. There are two 18-hole courses, golfing one costs $18, but you can add the second or replay the same one on the same day for just $6 extra. We had planned on doing just one round on our most recent visit, but it wasn't too crowded and went by pretty quickly, so we ended up playing the other side too. I'm partial to the course that's closer to Blossom Hill road because it's a little more difficult with the water trap holes, but both sides are fun!

This Golfland has two…read more18 hole courses: one is more visually fun and somewhat easier; the other one is full tryhard and has a lot of fun, challenging holes. If you want to do both mini golf courses, just buy one round of mini golf, write your scores on the paper, and skip hole 18 until you get to the very end of the second course. It'll save you $5. Highly recommend this enjoyable experience if you're a kid or adult! It's affordable, fun, and nice to be outside as you're mini golfing!

I had been looking for a way to fix up my spare Raleigh bike which is actually my preferred means of transportation since my car was stolen, and this turned out to be the perfect opportunity! Little did I know that almost every other person in Sunnyvale turned out also!!! Yikes!! I decided to stick it out and see if I could get it fixed up. Turns out I ended up meeting some pretty cool people! These guys were only supposed to be there for a half day but ended up staying there until everybody got their bikes fixed. That was pretty awesome. A gentleman named Ryan worked on my bike and he was some kind of old world black magic craftsman because he got my bike to do stuff I'm pretty sure it hadn't done since it was new!! He put two new tires on (that I brought with me) as well as two brand new inner tubes (that they didn't even charge me for!) as well as tuning up the gears and brakes! After that a guy named Tim did a safety check on it and put some lights on it and I was on my way!! If you get a chance to go to one of these clinics, don't miss out, out, you won't be disappointed!!!

The event was so organized. I was greeted by dedicated volunteers early in the morning at my San Mateo Caltrain station. They even gave me a bag and a Starbucks coffee. The volunteers were fantastic and were extremely helpful with answering all of my questions. Volunteers were also available at selected energizing stations throughout the Silicon Valley. We even had a station where I work in Mountain View. I was told there were also parties happening afterwards like the one at LinkedIn. I have been cycling with my dogs for many years, and I'm so glad to know that there is an organization like Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition who is very active to provide cyclists a safer road to travel. This annual event also created an awareness that if we took alternative green way to get to work like cycling, it can help lessen our carbon footprint. What a great organization. Cheers!

Had an awesome recent visit to NorCal Hobbies with my son. I hadn't been there since 2015 after…read moretaking a long hiatus from the hobby, so it was really cool to come back. My 4-year-old is obsessed with anything with 4 wheels, so getting back into RC with him has been such a blast. We came out to get my 2WD buggy on their awesome indoor carpet track and let my son check everything out. The whole experience was great. The track is fantastic, and the shop had such a welcoming vibe. One of the highlights was their indoor rock crawling area. We had been wanting to try crawling, and Will was kind enough to loan us a crawler to test out. Needless to say... we ended up leaving with one! Overall, we had an awesome time. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to come back for more track time and check out some of the upcoming events. Be sure to support your local hobby shop!

After finishing one bowl and one cup, the class ended but not before we picked a glazing color for each piece. The surprise comes when we pick up the final kiln fired and glazed bowl and cup. Our instructor was a gem. She was patient and gave clear instructions. She invited us up to her wheel to watch her complete each step. Well done Isis (our instructor) and Higher Fire! We will be back.
