Their physical therapy program is awesome. The therapist work hard to resolve issues. For example you will be assigned a physical therapist and occupational therapist that will help you recover from your injuries. My favorite PT is Vanny who goes over and beyond. Diane the Occupational Therapist is now PT but is amazing. All others that I have not mentioned are awesome I have just named two whom I had personally worked with me and remained. The Administrator Thara Cesar is professional; she is someone with an open door; resolves issues and respectful. I highly recommend Harlem Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for its excellent cleanliness, staffing including supervisions, and care.

It's hard leaving my father. He worries about not receiving help if family isn't around to speak up for him. There are a few nice workers who do help, but it's hard to trust others who are bad apples. Family must visit everyday to check on their love ones to move around for activities going on in the building for the residents. Overall, My father does like this place because it's close to family who can visit him. It would be nice if they add art to the walls and invest in an aquarium and greenery to cheer the place up.

She not only did her job to the fullest, but she also took the time to truly listen to me--a daughter living out of town, feeling helpless and desperate to get her father closer to family as his health was declining. Her compassion, patience, and dedication meant more to me than words can express. My overall experience with this facility was phenomenal. From the doctors, to the social workers, to the chaplain, and later Mike with hospice--every single person we encountered showed genuine care, professionalism, and heart. The entire team and staff are absolutely PHENOMENAL. Thank you for giving my father the dignity, attention, and care he deserved until his very last day. I will forever be grateful for the consistent communication, kindness, and support you provided during one of the most difficult times of my life. I could never thank you enough. The hiring staff prioritize hiring West Indian, Caribbean, African-born, and Hispanic individuals over American citizens who were born in the United States and speak and understand English. At least 86 percent of the staff are not of American origin. The hiring department discriminates against American applicants. ArchCare is more concerned about the money they receive from the patient than the actual medical care given. The medical staff provide the bare minimum if they even do that. I wouldn't let a sick stray dog be cared for at ArchCare because it would mostly die in the hands of these people. The management staff, Doctors, Nurses and CNA's only care about their paychecks. If you're looking for a place to be mistreated & to die go to an ArchCare living facility.

Every time I visit -- even unannounced -- the facility is immaculate, clean, organized, and welcoming. Most importantly, the staff treats my father with genuine love, kindness, patience, and respect.
