Bought a nice citizen watch at the mall of Georgia location but no one knows how to take the links out to size. Had two people working and neither of them would even try. The guy suggested I take it to another jewelry store who can do it. Useless workers. The manager is Amazing but too bad she's on vacation. I'm not sure why you would have people work at a jewelry store but cannot take a few links out of a watch. Ridiculous. If you need any help besides a person taking a piece of jewelry out of the case, I suggest going to another store bc they are not helpful in any other way. read more

I've never been more disappointed with a jewelry company. I ordered a necklace for my mom a couple of weeks before Christmas seeing that it would be delivered at the store on the 21st. That day came and went and I got no email with word on its delivery. I called the store and they told me it had been returned to the vendor because the box had been "tampered with". So I gave up on it being a Christmas present and waited. I called the store 3 or 4 times to check on its progress and still nothing. I finally called the customer service number for the company and they said they had no idea where the new necklace was and "you know how it is with an old order... it can get lost". I'm sorry, but that is not acceptable for a luxury jewelry store. They said they would open a case for me and call me back. Nothing. I then called AGAIN. Where is this necklace?? They told me they would ship it to my house for free and give me the tracking number. I never got a tracking number (but I did get lots of advertising emails from the company..) and I kept on waiting. Finally, a month and a half after placing my initial order I got an email saying it was at the store!!! I was very confused because I was clearly told it was supposed to be delivered to my house. So the Buford GA store called and said it's ready for pickup! Well I couldn't pick it up because I'd be out of town so I asked them to ship it like I thought they would. On a Thursday morning I was told it would be OVERNIGHTED. To me, that means I'll get it the next day. Well the weekend came and went and still no necklace. I called the store again for like the 8th time and was told that overnight doesn't mean the weekend and that I would get it on Tuesday. I'm sorry, but that's not overnight or even close. I'm so over this whole process and just want a refund. Not to mention I was not offered anything more than and an "I'm sorry and thank you for your patience." I own a business and this would never fly with our customers. I don't normally write reviews (especially negative ones) but this was just too much. read more

This was my very first time visiting this store, as well as my very first time purchasing an engagement ring as well as wedding ring. My Fiancé (then girlfriend) had told me this was her absolute favorite Diamond store due to its history and commitment to its customers. We were greeted by a young woman by the name of Contessa, and she walked us around the store as my fiancé looked around. Obviously as a man, I just sit back and watch what she truly likes and pray it isn't that expensive, lol. But we looked at about 3-4 different rings only because my fiancé wanted a certain shaped diamond, the Pear. Contessa gladly showed us all the options they had in store, along with matching wedding bands. We talked about which ones looked best on her, and while my fiancé walked around the store with another employee, me and Contessa walked in the other direction to talk about the proposal plan. It was a simple and to the point plan, my fiancé had no idea, as I told her "we will see how life goes", to throw her off the track of thinking of the ring. Fast forward a few months from that day, I stayed in contact with Contessa, and told Contessa I am ready to purchase the ring. The problem was, this store is located 3 and a half hours from my current home location. So I had to have it sized and Contessa would send it to me via Priority mail. Now, this is where Contessa & Sonila, were the stars and saviors of what was to come and made Helzberg Diamonds the best of the best in my eyes. Contessa and Sonila informed me that my ring was ready to be shipped to me, that it would arrive on a Tuesday, 2 days prior to me and my fiancé leaving town for our own little getaway and surprise proposal to her. Well, the ring never showed that Tuesday, and I immediately contacted Contessa, to which she said in her 3 years of working there, there has never been an incident where the ring has been misplaced or possibly misplaced! She was so concerned, she took it upon herself to find that ring for me at all cost! The ring was coming to me via UPS, so she personally called and talked to every person possible to help located this ring, even updating me on that Tuesday, and Wednesday nightly after hours of her work shift! I was in shambles because I thought this was the worst possible outcome to have happened to me on a day so important to me and my fiancé. But Contessa never lost hope! She made it her mission, and by Thursday morning she had located it and had it being sent to me as fast as possible! To which it arrived to me early afternoon, and in time for me to put it away and not have my fiancé have any clue to what was going on. Then, we went on our trip, we took pictures, etc, my fiancé was an emotional wreck after she saw the ring and told her the story. And now, Contessa is her favorite human being on earth! Contessa, if you're reading this, I want to thank you again from the deepest part of my heart! You truly made this happen for me and her, and I couldn't and wouldn't have wanted it any other way! They were clearly understaffed and extremely busy but Nadia, the sales woman that assisted me, was patient, attentive, and very helpful. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from a Helzberg in Atlanta, but for the inspections and cleaning, I wanted to take it to a location closer to home. Since the initial drop off at Helzberg for my engagement ring's cleaning, I have had nothing but positive experiences here! The friendly associates also took a considerable amount of time talking with me one on one and letting me try on various wedding bands without ever making me feel rushed or pressured to buy right on the spot. The employees are knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating to our budget needs. We purchased both of our wedding bands from this location as well within the past month. I am absolutely impressed by the quick return service--my fiancés wedding band was estimated to be ready in 4 weeks, and within a week, it was ready to be picked up! I come from a family of 8. 6 of my siblings and I being females. From the time I was a little girl until now that I'm 29 years old, my mother would make it a duty to buy each of us a fine piece of jewelry with our various big accomplishments and milestones. With that background, my mom has been a loyal customer to Helzberg for over a decade. She trusted them when she bought me a beautiful London Topaz ring and bought a LIFETIME WARRANTY. We live separately, so at the store a sweet blonde lady made sure my personal information was on the account as well so I can bring it alone for my inspections. I went for one, greeted by the same sweet blonde who pulled my information up by using my phone number, but when I returned for another inspection I was greeted by a man named "Mo". He immediately denied being able to pull my phone number up, I had to use my mother's personal information when he finally stopped pretending to not be able to pull it up. He then took my ring to inspect, and informed me of a stone missing. With the warranty, you can have it sent away for fixing for free. However, due to the fact that I didn't have my hard copy of paper from the purchase date, he refused to comply. He said I would have to find that hard copy from years ago in order for them to comply with the warranty. With it almost being 2021, any business should know and understand most people don't hold onto hard copies, so emails are bow about option EVERYWHERE! I feel cheated and misled. I would never have made the purchase of lifetime warranty if I knew he would love to make it difficult for loyal customers. I do not recommend going to this location if you want something that you want a lifetime warranty on. It could cost you lots of money and frustration later on down the road, especially if it's not a jewelry store that keeps information in the computer system in the case any normal human being may lose their one hard copy. read more

I needed to get a battery replaced in my watch, so I headed to the Mall of GA. I wondered into Helzberg and I was told they did not offer that service. So ...I thought I'd browse around. The woman salesperson started off disinterested in helping me because I was only interested in a watch battery, but then became quite aggressive with her sales shtick when I started asking about their rings. I told her "I never had been in, and wanted to see what they had. I only needed a battery today, and nothing more." There came a point during my visit when another couple came into the store. This salesperson told them out loud while looking right at me that she would need to check to see if she could help them, because she was in the middle of helping ME. (???) When I repeated "I said I was just looking", she made a small scene stating out loud that "she will get in trouble if she leaves me." It was ridiculous! I then told her to "Please. Feel free to help them, because now I am going to walk all over the store for however long I felt like it, and I'm not buying a thing." The couple was surprised this salesperson was refusing to help them even after I said that. I just don't understand what she would have done if one more couple had come in to browse. It was as if she thought I was going to steal something! She may be the worst salesperson I ever met: She was Rude, Aggressive, and had completely Illogical customer service skills.
