All my jewelry is from there and I'm required to have it inspected every six months and I dread having to walk into that store every single time. I'm always approached as if I'm an outsider and I don't belong there even though I bring in a bag full of jewelry they still treat me like I don't deserve to be there. read more

Just go to Kay's and spare yourself the worst customer service. I would be out of state a while for a family medical issue where there is no Helzberg, I called ahead to ask and see if a friend could drop off/pick up my ring to be resized since it takes a few weeks to which I was told YES! No issues, my friend would provide a phone number and they would call me to verify. Cool. When she arrived they denied her service and would not honor their word. After multiple phone calls back and forth to "recheck with the manager" they refuse to follow through. Now I'm told I can call corporate (no thanks) to see if they'll approve it, then would need to collect copies of warranty paperwork to then send to my friend to bring. Steps on steps on steps. Called Kay's today to explain the situation and ask about prices, and they will be resizing it FOR FREE because that's how you treat a customer. read more

I have absolutely no desire to ever purchase anything from this company ever again!!! After having 2 previous issues at this store im yet again having one and this is the absolute last straw, this store drafted my account $1000 but couldn't produce a receipt then basically told me to wait to see if it goes through I contacted my credit union only to confirm the the money was indeed taken out of my account I've since then had to contact the store and their home office not once did anyone contact me to fix this now 3rd issue or retain me as a guest im completely done with this company for good!!! I bought a chain for $2499.88 and I also liked another chain that was 449.99 the sales lady there said if you buy both I'll give you a good deal on the second one, I asked how good of a deal she said 50% off so that would be $224.95 well she lied and when I got home she charged me $399.99 so tomorrow 3/30/22 I'll be taking both back. I needed a ring sized and chose Helzberg because it was close. I knew it was a small order, but I didn't expect to be treated as such. My jewelry needs on this visit was a hassle and an imposition and they let me know it by the way they treated me. I will head out of my way to visit our family's usual jeweler for anything now, no matter how small a job. I learned my lesson that Helzberg didn't care to gain a new customer. I cannot believe I have to leave this review. My husband dropped my ring off in February due to a diamond in my setting falling out. I have insurance on the ring through Helzberg. They informed him it would be done by June. We call in June and they came they don't have. Long story short, I take it up as high as I can in corporate and they claim we were never there so they wouldn't have to take responsibility for the ring. They refused to watch the cameras (we know exactly what date and time we were there). We also offered to send a pic of the ring (maybe it got put under the wrong name) but they refused to do that for us either. So now... I'm out a $12,000 dollar engagement ring. I will be filing suit soon. But if you can DO NOT SHOP HERE OR GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. Go to Meriotto, family owned, great people and THEY WONT LOSE YOUR RING (probably because they are used to seeing nice stuff). My assumption is that someone in the store stole it since they have been so reluctant on helping us in any way. Would hate to see this happen to someone else. read more

They didn't want to adjust my citizen watch band because it was one you had to cut. I bought the watch from them and they seemed liked they had never done one before. And if I hadn't bought it from there I would assume they wouldn't have done it!!! Over all 2 star rating which is being nice! read more

My mother went in to have the prongs checked a mother's ring. They looked at it and said the prongs needed to be replaced because they were worn. They wanted $250 upfront to have the ring fixed and it would take about 2 weeks. They estimated the value of her ring at $500. she paid them the $250 and left her ring. Two weeks went by and she had not heard anything from them. Called them and they said it was not done yet, it would probably be a couple more weeks Two weeks later she called and they said it was not back yet but the girl said she would call and check on it. Came back saying that the repair place was waiting for a call back from "Vanessa," she had not received any call from anyone. The repair person said to repair the ring all the stones (5) would need to be removed and that would be another $250. She said she was not going to do that and she was not very happy with how long it had taken and the price increase that was double what they had quoted. She said she would be in to pick up her ring. The manager called and he was sorry for the delay and he could give her a 20% discount. Not good enough, she said she wanted her ring back. Went to pick up her ring and everyone was friendly until they realized they were not going to make a sale. Gave her the ring back and then said they didn't have $250 in cash in the store and would have to write her a check. I have a hard time believing that Helzberg's does not have $250 in their store. She then took her ring to Joslins Jewelry where her late husband purchased the ring. She didn't go there first because it was out of her way. They were friendly and looked at her ring and said one prong was sticking up a little so they pressed it back down. They said the other prongs were a little worn but they were not worn enough to worry about for a long time. Excellent Customer service at Joslin Jewelry. We will not go back to Helzberg Diamonds as I feel they were just trying to make some easy money by charging my mom the value of her ring to have it fixed when the replacement of the prongs was not even needed. read more
