I'm unsure why the reviews (especially for cleaning) are so low because my experience with this store was spot-on and spectacular. Rich was hilarious and when I told him I needed my engagement ring cleaned to keep up with my warranty, he happily helped me out and made me chuckle with a joke about cleanings costing a quarter. With a wink and a whisk of my ring, he took it away while we were looking at matching bands and it came out sparkling like, well, diamonds! None of which were missing, by the way. It was as bright and beautiful as the day it was presented to me by my one and only. And he even showed us a few of the wedding bands we wanted to see after he cleaned my ring. He was patient with us as I tried everything on, and even offered some tips on which styles to pair with my somewhat uniquely shaped rock. He made a point of mentioning that we could always stop by for a ring cleaning even if it weren't the six month tune up time. Went in to get my Wedding Ring cleaned and signed off for warranty. We accidentally brought the wrong inspection card but that was no problem at all. The woman we worked with, regretfully did not get her name but her initials are RH, was AMAZING. She quickly looked up all the info needed, set us up with a new card, and sent it off to get spruced up! Along with this easy fix, she got another ring we brought in (because a stone fell out) set up with a warranty and replaced it right away. I really wish I had looked at the Yelp reviews before coming here, because they clearly speak for themselves. Helzberg has a really great selection, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about them. The jeweler at this particular location is terrible. My boyfriend purchased a ring for me here that was a little too large and a week after purchasing, sustained a small damage that caused the band to be bent. I came back to this location to get the ring fixed. A week later, it looked as if nothing had been done to resize or fix the damaged band. They had the jeweler take a second look and after 2 days, it appeared to be fixed. However, I noticed a couple weeks later that the band was now misshapen and not forming a perfect circle. At this point, I'm pretty much done with Helzberg diamonds. I won't be purchasing anything here and I will certainly find another jeweler who can properly fix my ring. I would also like to mention that the sales staff is pretentious and not very helpful. If you're not spending over a grand here, don't expect to be treated with much respect. read more

If you are buying bridal jewelry go somewhere else. They have a 2 month return policy so if you have any issues with your jewelry after your wedding unless you bought it a week before your wedding it's a hassle to return it. I only gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly and finally after calling corporate I got a refund. I lost my first diamond one day after my wedding and then after returning it to be fixed I lost my next diamond after a week then after trying again I lost my next diamond after 1 day. Terrible experience! My boyfriend and I went there to look at engagement rings/wedding sets and were treated very rudely. We were first helped by a younger girl who was very helpful. She gave us a lot of good advice and guidance which was great. While we were looking, she brought an older lady (who was said to have been a manager who worked there much longer) to come talk to us as well. She started talking to us and really started pushing on us to buy a ring that day using financing. We explained why we didn't want to do that and she would not stop pressuring us to do it. As if that wasn't rude enough, in the middle of us explaining that my boyfriend wanted to pay out front for a ring, she said "Oh, so you're not planning on getting engaged for years then?" as if he didn't have any money. We were speechless and so uncomfortable! Helzberg is the only place I've ever been pushed this much and treated so poorly. I can't speak for the other services they have, but if you're planning on "just looking," go elsewhere. There are so many other places nearby that will give you much better experiences. read more

This review is specifically for one of their associate Sharon. My husband purchased my e ring from a helzberg location close to our house (flatirons mall) since this location is close to my office, I ordered my wedding bands from here. After wearing the bands+ring around for a couple of days, I decided to have them soldered together as one piece. The cost of the work is covered under the lifetime care plan. I brought the jewelry into flatirons helzberg and I received horrible customer service experience. On top of that, when I got my ring back, they didn't even do a good job and didn't even offer to rush order to have it fixed. Needless to say, I was pissed. So I brought it down to this location and showed Sharon what the other location did and told her what happened, she offered to put it on rush order and have it fixed, the ring was back in my hands in 4 days (and that's counting 2 days of sat+sun in between) I believe Sharon went above and beyond her normal customer service duties to get the problem fixed, even though it was not even her fault in the first place. No doubt I will be returning here again to do my servicing and jewelry purchase, even though it is literally on opposite end of town from where I live. read more

Helzberg Diamond Flat Iron Mall Manager: Angela 1st visit: I brought in a wedding ring to be sized and re-engraved and paid for it. 2nd visit: Went in to get my ring. The ring was sized but the JEWELER decided it did not need to be engraved, even-though that is what I clearly (in writing) asked and paid for. I was not happy, but I agreed to send it out again to be engraved as previously specified. I was given a specific due date. They verbally assured me they understood I was now under a time crunch due to their mistake. AFTER THE DUE DATE, I received a call from Angela, the store manager. There was another issue with engraving, an issue with the size/type of fonts. As I tried to express my concern with due dates, she repeatedly cut me off and talked so much I was not given an opportunity to problem solve with her. I asked to have my ring returned via overnight delivery. She said no, it wasn't policy. I would have to pick it up 4 days hence. I, again, was not happy but had no recourse. She called me later to inform me it would be overnighted. 3rd visit: I came in and asked for Angela, she seemingly was intentional in delaying service to me, I waited 15 minutes. Again, she would not allow me to voice my concerns because she over rode the conversation. I got angry, even 12 year old students know better than to constantly interrupt someone, much less a paying customer. She got angry also. I then demanded my ring back along with receipts. The ring was returned without engravings, and I was issued a "full" refund. This refund in no way makes up for the lack of service, inadequate communication, famine of empathy with a complete disregard for how important this was, no genuine apology, and a complete absence of professionalism by this manager and the company she represents. Helzberg has long been our go-to but, I will never step foot in their store again. read more

Went back to the store because my chain broke four days after the purchase. The worker basically said it was my fault for breaking it and tried to sell me the lifetime warranty plan, meanwhile it was under a 30 day warranty and she did nothing to solve the problem. I have to be completely honest, the reviews on here completely scared me about this store. My fiance bought my ring at Helzberg, not this particular store, and had a wonderful buying experience. Designed the ring online, came to a store to pick up, purchased the lifetime warranty. No issues. The Park Meadows store is closest to us and so that is where I have gone and got my ring cleaned and got my inspection done to keep my warranty and we had FABULOUS service. Very helpful, not very pushy. While we were in getting my ring inspected Janelle the store manager helped us, and she even helped me start to get some ideas around wedding bands. Great experience. A month later, this past Friday, I was sitting down on the couch and realized I had a small diamond of my tristone diamond ring missing. I panicked, sheer panic. Barely slept, got on here and read reviews about how poor the service is when you need something, that the warranty doesn't hold up. BULL CRAP! It's all so skewed and now I know can't be the full side of the story. I read on here about racism, so I was nervous, I am black, and my fiance is white, and they never treated us anything other than stellar. I was nervous they wouldn't replace my diamond as promised, and they didn't even bat an eye. They could see the prong was loose, and because we held up our end of the bargain, they held up theirs. Janelle helped us again this time, and I just can't think of enough nice things to say about her. It was just such a great experience, especially when I was pretty emotional and of course upset over having a diamond fall out. I feel bad everyone hasn't had this great service. read more

I hate to start a review like this but, I am an event planner, mainly weddings. And the last thing I want to have to deal with or a bride to deal with is poor service when picking up their wedding ring. A bride and I arrived to pick up her ring after it had been sized and we stood out front watching an employee speaking to what looked like family members for almost 10 minutes. I finally approached her and asked it would be alright that we get some service and she replied that she was off the clock. She reluctantly wondered back to grab someone else and all of a sudden 3 employees appeared. There was no apology or even recognition that we had been waiting, never mind the place has a 100 cameras pointing right at us, you would think some one in the back would have noticed... When competition is so thick, you'd think customer service or at least service would be priority. From now on, we'll (my future brides and my company) will be going to Ben Bridge. They have gone above and beyond! read more

This review is only for the Helzberg location in Park Meadows mall. I've had great service with Helzberg as a whole but this is my second horrible experience at this location and prompted me to write this review. My first bad experience here was in Nov. 2015. I have an engagement ring purchased at a different helzberg location and like to stop in when I see one to have my ring cleaned. I stopped in here and was told that I had 3 loose stones on my ring and would need to have it sent out to be fixed. Not ideal, but hey, better safe than sorry. My problem arose when I was called to come pick up my ring and it was missing a stone. It wasn't missing one when I sent it in and suddenly upon being "fixed" I'm shy a diamond. It was sent back to be fixed yet again and this time I was pretty anxious that I was going to have a missing ring or something. I understand these things happen though. Unfortunely the lack of apology or really any alarm from the employee's that a recently worked on ring would come back missing a stone really underwhelmed me. Not impressed. Today (4/15/16) I was shopping in the park meadows mall again on my lunch break. I thought to myself, "no way they can mess up that bad twice." So I stopped in and asked for my ring to be cleaned. The associate commented that I had a beautiful ring and everything looked "nice and tight." She cleaned it and returned it to me and I asked to see some bands since we haven't purchased ours yet. While we're looking at the bands I notice my ring is missing a stone. I have no complaints on the woman helping me. She was apologetic and found my diamond in the cleaner right away. But,it's obvious that when it was inspected just moments before it wasn't a very careful inspection. And I told her I will take my ring to the southwest plaza location that has a jewler inside. Whoever they send jewlery to be fixed at from this store obviously didn't actually fix anything on my ring and I certainly don't want it be sent out and come back in worse shape a second time. Helzberg as a whole is fine but definitely avoid this location. read more

If I could give this place negative points I would. First off, I bought a life time plan for my wedding band. However, when they looked up my name, they charged me 40 dollars to rhodium plate the ring--even though we spent over 100 dollars extra for their lifetime policy. Wow, they just ripped me off. Don't but their lifetime policy! In fact, don't buy from them all together. They are a rip off and then they charge you for a policy to upkeep you ring--which they don't honor. They should be sued for misrepresentation because now I have to pay for the upkeep of my ring for no reason. read more

November is our 40th wedding anniversary. 15 years ago my wife lost her diamond in the original setting. I took this 40 year old ring to Helzberg and the manager Janelle was very accommodating in helping me repair and replace this setting. Wow did their jeweler do a fantastic job. Got a great price on an excellent quality diamond and the jeweler did such a great job my wife didn't recognize the ring right away. It was a stunning surprise for my wife. I also purchased a ruby and diamond ring since ruby is for the 40th. Janelle and her staff was very helpful. Forget Zales and Kays try Helzberg diamonds I did and it was the best for this 40th anniversary project. read more

I got my original engagement ring here, and I love it. It was perfect. Unfortunately I lost it, and my fiancé and i went to get a new one here. The service was great of course, since we bought another $2,500.00 ring. The ring was beautiful, but it wasn't MY ring. I saw they had my original ring in the clearance section online, and I was thrilled! We returned the new ring a re-purchased the ring he had proposed to me with. Every time we go in the store now, the people who'd helped me get the ring we returned were either extremely rude, or pretended not to see us. It's usually a man named rick and a blonde lady. HUGE disappointment . My ring is a symbol of love to my husband and I, not just a commission check. If they weren't so rude we'd have spent a lot more money at this store. To make matters worse, every time I wear my ring now, a diamond falls out of it. I wore my first ring while working retail, and it was fine. I work in an office now, and this really shouldn't be happening. If you do decide to go to this store, the only person we actually like is Gary. He's not pushy, and he's super helpful. read more

The ring I got was beautiful! I love love love my ring...too bad I cannot wear it. We got engaged in June and by the end of June my finger was red and inflamed. I have severe eczema so I thought it was because of that. As I wore the ring longer my finger got worse and worse to the point I could no longer wear it. Turns out I am allergic to nickle. I called the customer care hotline and they said that the store could give me credit towards another ring or do what they do for people with broken engagements so I went into the store. The guy I spoke to said that there was water trapped under the ring causing me to have an allergic reaction due to mold in the ring(a DR. told me I was allergic) He took the ring to have it cleaned so for 7 days I was without my ring. He told me not to wear it until my finger healed so I waited almost a month. I wore it for 1 day and a night; taking it off every time I showered, washed my hands, and used lotion. woke up itching my finger, when I looked down hives were on my entire hand.... So here I am in October 2 weeks away from my wedding not being able to wear my ring. What a disappointment. I would've paid more to get a platinum ring, I would've paid more to have mine dipped, but the gentleman in the store insisted I just didn't like my ring. NOT TRUE!!! I guess I will get a tattoo and never wear the ring we are still financing, YAY me! read more

Let me just say her refreshing personality, service and honest customer care......Has made me a customer in the future for life. I am in the sales business. On my day off I enjoy dressing casual. Thursday BEN BRIDGE looked down on my Daughter and I because of our casual dress. I had shopped their 2 weeks earlier for the same item, only in a suit and tie. My husband and I bought both our wedding rings here. They were a lot of money, but we've been very happy with them. Recently, my husband's band cracked all the way through in the back. Not sure how or why, but life happens. I returned to Helzberg to get it repaired because I hoped they would stand behind their products and their loyal customers. Nothing was discussed with me -- warranty (or lack thereof), prices, options, etc. I was just told it'd be ready in 2 weeks and handed an "estimate" of $65: $30 for repair and $35 for *refurbishing". Ok. After about 5 weeks my husband went in to inquire about it and ask why we hadn't been called when it was ready. They hemmed and hawed and didn't give an answer as to why no one bothered to call us... and asked for their $105. Wait... what?! Turns out they'd added another $40 for "fixing loose stones" -- even though no one had called to get that work approved before it was done and we hadn't experienced any problems with loose stones. (His ring is pretty simple and only has a few tiny diamond *chips* on it.) Worst of all, the repair looks very weak. The gold looks fine in the back, but the inside and sides still clearly show the crack. What'd they do - put a thin veneer of gold over the back to hide it without actually fixing it??! ~sigh~ The work was substandard and we were charged full price despite being loyal customers (and extra work added without approval). For that amount of money, I should have taken it to a real jeweler instead. So much for loyalty. read more
