I bought an engagement ring back in 2021. The price was close to $10k so one would expect a quality product and hope for above average service in exchange. Neither is the case. The ring has a large stone in the center and many smaller stones that surround it as well as many stones throughout the ring. Over the years many of the stones have fallen off. Some we've found, others we've not been so lucky. Every time a stone falls off we take the ring to the store to repair and ask they check the entire ring so this doesn't continue to happen. Every time we drop the ring off they say they will and when picked up they say they did a thorough check. Despite their thorough inspections, the stones continue to fall off and the cycle continues. In addition, every time we drop the ring off they set a pickup date. We go a few days after their set pickup date, the ring has never been read on their set date. We ask every time why we were not notified the ring would not be ready for pickup? Sometimes they apologize but numerous other times they make lame excuses like "we sent you a text message." This has been an outright lie and they attempt this deception time after time. I would not recommend anyone to buy anything here. Very disappointed with the customer service provided at this location. My husband and I had been customers since 2018 the old staff was very knowledgeable and actually cared about the customer. My husband and I made an in store purchase on 5/19/2023. We were in the market for a ring enhancer. We were shown a couple different options, after deciding on a ring I was very clear that because the band was small I couldn't get a true feel of the ring .They advised they could order/size the ring to 7.5 All my rings were taken in for work, date promised was 06/06/2023. We came into the store on 6/8/2023, the enhancer was here but my engagement ring and wedding band could not be located and no one could tell me where my rings were only that they could call the jeweler tomorrow and that I could call and check back in (cant even take the initiative to call me). I explained to them that again I couldn't see my rings together but now that the enhancer was the correct size and I could properly try it on I was unhappy with the ring. It felt very light/cheap and I simply was unhappy and that I wished to return the ring and select a different ring in platinum. All of my other rings are platinum and this was not. They quickly stated I was stuck with the ring and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with a manager but they advised that no one would be available until Sunday. I jumped online and pulled up the return policy, they told me that if I ordered my rings online I would have had no issue returning the ring but because I made the purchase in store they stated that the purchase was final because the ring was sized to a 7.5 instead of ordered! Something that was NEVER explained. The receipt also has no information about not being able to make a return. I reached out to corporate immediately and they advised that the information provided was FALSE Corporate was very apologetic and even reached out to the store on our behalf. We were able to go back in and when we came in they tried to offer us store credit I told them that was ridiculous and provided email communication that had been provided to me by corporate. They went ahead and honored our return, a few days later the store manager reached out to apologize to us and offered us assistance with finding a band that would work for us. I appreciated the apology and took her up on her offer, but I never did hear back from her. Once my husbands band was ready for pickup we both were so disappointed with the entire situation that when he went to pick up his band requested a return (this was something we were suppose to do together, something that was special and a milestone) but since I never heard back I never found a ring. Once again he was advised that "the ring could not be returned since it had been sized" my husband explained that we were aware of the return policy and new this was FALSE information. The manager realized who he was and stated she did call out to vendors but was not able to find anything she thought I would be interested in which is why she never bothered to follow up with me after our last conversation. she asked him to relay the information to which he explained that the professional thing to do would be for her to reach out to me . It's clear that all of this is simply a sales tactic. No one should be hassled when doing a return when they are within the window. You should be 100% in love with your purchase and not be forced to keep something when you have every right to return it. I tried giving the store a second chance but instead of remedying the situation they made it worse. We will never be returning to the Moreno Valley helzberg. Please read up on their policies online. Sol let me try on a few different pear cut rings (since I was in love with the shape but had never actually tried them on my hand) and as soon as I put this ONE on I fell IN LOVE. PERFECT size, perfect shape, perfect sparkle, OMG. Both Sol and Doris took the time to explain what to look for in a diamond ring and educate us on different aspects of the jewelry all without pushing for a sale, which I appreciated since I do always look for transparency and authenticity. At the end Sol gave Francisco a few little tips on the proposal (he mentioned to me later) which is super thoughtful and I love her attention to the small things from start to finish. Not really happy with them at all!!! Nutshell: They're repair process is BEYOND SLOW and their customer service is comical. Details: I got engaged in April, of course I needed my ring resized. The 1st time I took the ring in everything seemed fine. The customer service was pretty good. The only downfall was the length of time it was going to take to get it back(2weeks). 2nd visit: I came back on the promised date and unfortunately the ring was still too big. Of course that's not really their fault as I could have possibly lost weight or something, however the customer service was crappy.... I felt really rushed and dismissed. When I informed the sales person that I still felt the ring was too big she insisted that I keep it for a few days. Her reasoning was because supposedly "my finger would expand due to the Hot weather." At first I was going to take her advise(although it sounded very strange) but after a few phone calls to some friends that had to go through the same process, I decided to take it back that same day. I explained to her again that it was too loose. The ring easily slid on and off my finger, no effort at all. She looked at my finger attempted to slide it off( it came right off) and she still insisted I keep it. I kept telling her I was uncomfortable with that decision. She reluctantly pulled out the ring sizers and resized me again. Originally I was sized as a 6 but since that was too big she tried the 5 1/2 that was too small. Thank God I did a little research on ring fittings cause she was not helpful not informative at all. After we tried the sizes and found that I wasn't comfortable with either she was sort of dismissive ( like there went any other options). I finally asked if the do quarters. It was as if I reminded her that this was an option at all. We finally came up with the size but it was irritating cause I felt she should have offered that as a suggestion in the 1st place. I was also irritated cause we had to guess on the size cause of course they didn't have the actual size for me to try on. On top of that they pushed the promise date from 2 weeks to 3weeks due to the holiday (Mother's Day) " the jeweler is going to be backed up" she said. 3rd visit: I call to see if my ring is in on the date it was promised. "Our shipment doesn't come in until 6pm try back then" they said. 6:30pm I show up, still no ring and no reason as to why it's not there. When I asked when it will be in she responded " we don't know, but I'll write your info down and call you." Pretty much it's been 2 months and I still don't have the ring. With no real explanation on why. They're repair process needs to be evaluated they are WAY TOO SLOW! And their customer service isn't very good either. They just want you in and out as long as they have your $$$$. read more

So beyond disappointed the way I was treated! Had my diamond wedding set 16+yrs and bought the set when they had the guarantee diamond program; my first set was bought in 1995, but my husband and I up graded my set in 2002. Went in, as I always do to get my set checked and then have the silver re-dipped. I have done this for years and now they want to charge me! I've never been charged since I was on the grandfathered guaranteed program. When I showed the manager my paperwork with every receipt I have, and I have them all, I've never been charged and I explained I was grandfathered on the program she refused and said "we charge for this and you just got lucky and weren't charged but should of been!" I'm so irritated and disappointed. I've been coming here since 1994, and have got numerous items here's... no more! I will def find another jeweler and will let others know how I was treated. Don't go here. I purchased a diamond ring for my wife during the Christmas Holidays. It was the wrong size (7) - my wife needs a 6 1/2. I was told it would be three weeks to get the ring back (they send them out to be sized). I told them I would check some of the other jewelers and come back, and was quickly told that they would get it back to me within a week. I picked up the ring on Christmas eve and gave it to my wife. As luck would have it, she wanted a bigger ring. We discussed it, she took it back. They do have a policy of returns as long as you purchase an item that is twice the price of the one returned. My wife picked a ring that was three times as expensive, but very beautiful. She was told when she returned it (right after Christmas) that it would be three weeks to get the ring returned sized correctly. I checked today, and they are saying it will take till February to get the item. Ridiculous to get great service before the purchase, and not so great when you're already committed.
