The S-MALL! It's been a while since I've visited this mall as it's just so sad for me to enter and find so many barren stores and lonely halls. These pictures were taken on a Saturday and the attendance here was abysmal. Hemet Valley Mall is a reminder of how city officials have failed the citizens of this town and refuse to bring in and support new businesses. The city said they would put a second story, never happened. They also said they'd build a new iteration of this mall a couple miles away, never happened. Here we are years later and nothing has improved nor happened. It's a damn shame that this mall was remodeled as some of the last surviving businesses NEED support but the city is not given these hard workers the time of day. The main businesses that are popping are Hobby Lobby, Magic Brow, Hot Topic, and JCPenney, that's it. Yes, not even Claire's is bringing people in. Years ago, when people still had hope in expanding or getting a "new mall" this mall was pretty busy... not anymore. It's depressing coming in here and the fact that malls are on their way out in certain parts of America, doesn't help this awful situation. I will never totally hate on this mall as I've had good times during community college here and it's super clean. The restrooms here are a lifesaver! If you're in Hemet I will not discourage coming as there's businesses to be supported. However, I want to be honest with you about the current climate of this mall. Came to the "Mall" today to go to Hobby Lobby. This place is quaint, cozy, and any other word that describes small. There aren't many stores in it but it is cute! This mall is a perfect example of the downfall of malls across America. It is very small and the stores (with the exception of Bath and Body Works) seemed to not be selling too much. This is very sad because I remember the times when going to the mall was a nice weekend activity. This mall doesn't have much to look at because most of its stores were closed either because of the holidays or because they were closed for good (ex: Sears). It has plenty of parking though. I hope it revives with some new stores and things to look at in the future. read more

I was excited to go to jc penny until we started to park we witnessed a brunette lady running away with clothes from the store and with no tags and security had saw her and didn't move or even bother to try and stop her,she was turning back making sure nobody knew what had happened but the mall had cameras and still nobody was there to stop her which was very stupid of them to not do. read more

Be cautious at Hemet Major Jewelers, Watch & Clock Repair. I went to this establishment to have a smartwatch band repaired. I was given a makeshift pin for the pin I needed replaced and the other pin was substituted (for a lower quality pin) without my knowledge. I even tipped the guy. I have probably been here for few times and I havent had a bad experience. Its a super small mall. They have Sears, JCPenny (sephora inside), shoes store, book store, bath and body works, and few other stores. Its very convenient. They have plenty of parking outside. There aren't a variety of stores, but they do have few for something quick. I highly recommend the shoes store. it was great read more

I love the mall and all the workers. Just one shop I have had a problem with. BUYER BEWARE! Mimi's Cell Zone in Hemet Valley mall. I bought a case from them for $25.00. The clasp came apart about 2 weeks after purchasing it. I asked to exchange and Steve the manager/owner said for $10.00 I could. I told him I didn't want to spend more money and The same thing possibly happen again. He told me he wouldn't exchange it. I even asked if I could get a basic case, not a wallet one so I could get something for the $25.00. He said no he wasn't giving me anything for "free." I told him that was messed up, that I shop there all the time and the woman worker knows me. He stopped talking to me and picked up the phone when I was showing him how the clasp was obviously a defect. He actually called security on me! Lol. Security was really nice, and was very sympathetic. I asked Steve one last time to help me out and he just Ignored me, he wouldn't even look at me. He was really rude. So I just want others to be aware of their no exchanges policy, even if you get a defected case. Bummer, now I'm out $25.00 and no case. Guess shopping locally and helping small businesses isn't all it's cracked up to be. I will definitely go back to the mall, just won't be spending my money at Mimi's cell zone. read more

MIMI'S CELL ZONE makes me never want to enter this place again. I bought 3 cases and a screen protector for my very new ph four days ago and went back to see if the lady purchased fr could fix the top corner of the screen protector she installed becuase it is lifted/not attached to ph and difficult to use that part of ph. Anyway she (Hispanic) wasn't there, but a Asian male & female were instead. Very nicely discussed with the male and he right off the back began attacking me and this very lil situation lol. He was super SUPER RUDE & nasty and 30sec later made a ph call to who I saw was security... OMG. Ummm, not that serious my friend. But that's what I get for trying to shop local! I can't believe Hemet has a mall?! I guess the mall fits the surroundings. It's small, there's not many stores, and the people you find here are definitely, uhhhhhhh well, not very clean people. At first sight, one would think its a small indoor swap-meet. I wound up wandering from Hobby Lobby through the opening they have to the mall. I really would never actually come to Hemet for the mall itself. Anyway... They have very few stores. There was only one that was decent, that being Hot Topic. They were really helpful there. I really didn't like the mall itself though. There's a sad hopeless feeling that lingers in the air. I had to get out of there before I started to smell like the stale scent of tombs that filled my nostrils. I would go back if I needed to go to Hot Topic, but, I think next time I won't venture out of Hobby Lobby. Kinda depressing. read more

Very small mall. If we're being honest, you could get from one end to another in less than five minutes. It's unfortunate to say, but this mall is dying, it's been going downhill for years, and the lack of stores isn't helping either. They do have a JC Penny, but once that goes, I'm afraid that's it. They do have a Bath and Body Works located inside, as well as three food court stores, very unimpressive, and you could find a wider variety of just about anything at another mall. It's unfortunate that the closest one is in Temecula. read more

Mimi's Cell Zone is The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! That Asian manager is so rude, he doesn't try to resolve any issues that he has with his cheap products. Something needs to be done about this Mall. This is the very reason that people of Hemet and San Jacinto have to drive to Temecula, Menifee and Moreno Valley to go to a decent Shopping area or Mall. Easily confused as a morgue, the Hemet Valley Hallway is home to storefronts as vacant as the eyes of the people that have to work there.The patriotic setup in the middle of the mall fails to mask the depression that permeates throughout the mall. Each closed gate reinforces the feeling of failure. Failure of the management to attract new business, and failure of the shoppers who are forced to use this gussied up flea market for their last-ditch effort in acquiring the poor man's version of whatever it was they initially set out for that day. First of all you're in hemet You shouldn't really expect much from here. There are a couple interesting store to go to such as Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, and theres a nice and cheap shoe shop back towards the right. There's also a clothing store near there too. They have some cute clothes you could find. The thing is this mall doesn't have as many stores to go to, but again it's hemet and some of the stores are nice. Seems many stores have closed down. When you get in the mall in the very front, there are a couple food places to go to. A little food court. They have a sushi place which I enjoy going to, it's been there for a while. And they have a subway & Orange Julius. I enjoy smoothies so I like it there too. Again it's hemet, don't expect much, but it's not 'terrible.' They have a couple nice stores to go, many closed, enjoyable food places. read more

Lets be realistic. This is the Hemet mall. There is not much, but for what they do have it is decent! Don't go in with high hopes. The only stores holding this mall together are Bath and Body Works, Hot Topic, Claires, and newly redesigned JC Penny! There is a new bookstore which is wonderful! Feels good to have a bookstore back in town. They have a nice selection of things. It is fairly clean. The food court is pretty minimal, but Orange Julius and Samurai are delicious! Come stop by and purchase a few gifts for the holidays, the Hemet Mall could really use the support! In order to get more stores, there has to be business! I was meeting a friend for lunch at the Pollys Pies which is in the same lot that this mall is in. Arriving early for my lunch date I had some minutes to kill so I decided to take a stroll in the mall. Years ago I used to work in this mall and after a short stroll through it I was reminded how small it is. Some of the stores like Radio Shack have been there since it first opened up. One good thing was that a new Hobby Lobby was open where the old Harris used to be. The mall in general is a clean place. Security is present. Sweet potato pancakes were very good. I recommend them even if you are not a pancake person. They are topped with cinnamon butter and they give big portions-2 full size pancakes with eggs and bacon or sausage for $7.29. Cute place, home cooking, clean and friendly service. I am very grateful that the Mall allows us to walk from store to store without having to wear these Useless masks that trap virus, mold and bacteria inside the mask materials allowing them to fester and multiply increasing the chances of getting a respiratory infection. I always enjoy going to this mall. The Hot Topic, Claires, and Bath and Body Works are my favorite stores here. I like that it's small and not super massive because that means less walking for me. Sometimes, after work the last thing I want to do is ride elevators and walk like 10 miles just to shop. I do wish it had more cool stores though! read more

"Major watch" in the hemet mall ripped me off. They worked on my watch and broke it. Replacing the battery in it turned into broken clips That would not keep the back of my watch closed. I was just pushed out the store by a man that repairs And brakes watches. He basically said to me ,,uuh the watch still keeps time. He says water can't get in it. That's not the point! He broke the clips called locking loopers..lied to me about how long the battery last.. They just wasn't very friendly at all, i will not recommended anyone to buy from them..CRAPPY WORK! read more

Disrespecting Vets Today an older black man in a wheelchair saying he was a vet ask me for money (I'm a retired Marine and a Ret Calif police Officer) After I gave him some money and a flyer to help needy Vets a Security Guard driving a white truck pulled up -I could see he was having a verbal confrontation with the wheelchair Vet After the Vet rolled away I ask the security guard in civilian clothing who was displaying a badge looking like a police officers badge He told me he was a retired 30, Yr Marine I told him as a police officer and retiired Marine myself I always treated Vets with respect even when I had to enforce the law He said "I don't care if he is a Vet." Small mall with stores that don't really catch my attention to shop there. They do have a brow threading shop which I tried once. Threaded more than I would've liked but them ok. Also have a jc penney but the store is really small. Sears too but didn't catch my attention to walk in there. I'd probably prefer to take the drive to the temecula promenade instead. read more

Listen up, when I go to a small mall expecting the smell and interior of a dead American dream, this mall lives to those expectations. I love walking in and taking in the hollow and quiet space. In order to get the real experience I recommend putting in some Vaporwave or elevator music to compliment the emptiness. Take in everything, the Sear's, that one Hot Topic, and the Bed Bath and Body Works that is so quiet it creeps me out in comparison to other ones that have mom's everywhere rushing to get a three wick candle. I come to this mall expecting that and it gives me THAT! First time I came here was out of boredom and I left with some fruit salad with Tajin and a new found respect to dying/dead malls. I think in order for this mall to truly survive they gotta really dig into the whole dead mall aesthetic. Add some tacky 80's prints, maybe some giant pants, and an Urban Outfitter's so the yuppies will eat that crap up! To wrap this review up, despite the mall being a visual representation of my depression, it has a special charm to it that makes me understand the struggle of a dying mall in a competitive market where the big boys win. read more

Need more of a selection of food court. Great selection of stores . Mexican food snack shop is way overpriced. People shopping enjoy quick and easy. If they had more food stores, shoppers would spend more time in mall. I always have to rush out because my family are hungry. read more

They finally opened a great used book store by jcpenny. The dollar book fair was a great stop $1-2 books with a great selection. I used to travel to the one in the moreno valley mall. But now there is one right down the street from me!! read more

Well we found this by accident. It is a nice decent little mall but is super small. It is really small with maybe just maybe 20 stores in total. It is still really clean and has air conditioning. It is a small city so what can you really expect. read more
