The food was hot enough. It was not pulled directly from the hot oil and delivered to us but it was not cold. There was a light seasoning on the chicken which was breaded with buttermilk. The crust on the chicken was crunchy and by the smell of the interior I thought it was going to be greasy. I was surprised that it was not. I got the 4 piece wings with fries and peppers. The fries were lukewarm at best. They were not the star of the meal. The chicken may be ordered with extra seasonings which come in a small plastic container on the side. Its taste did not enhance the flavor of the chicken. There seems to have been too much granulated garlic in the seasoning for my taste. There was a rather long line of at least 4 cars ahead of me. The line moved quickly and I think it took about 20 minutes to get my order. I arrived home in about 3-5 mins. And as a result I was able to eat dinner and watch television in peace. The new show I am watching is called Leopard Skin on Peacock if anyone needs to binge watch a new limited series. Happy eating everyone! Goodnight! Would I eat here again? I come back up there and let them know the wings were missing and the young girl with platinum dyed hair asked did I bring the whole chicken back ... I give this place one star. I do not live in this area. I just started working in this area. It's up the street from my job so I decided to go try it. I get to the drive- thru and ask the lady what all comes with the meal. I could barely hear her so I ask again. She's like ma'am I just told you then repeats herself. Then I ask if I can replace the fries with a different side and she tells me it will be a up charge. I decide to leave because of her attitude and go somewhere else. They really need to work on their customer service. If you don't like your job then find something else. Don't take it out on the customers. Will never be back or have a chance to try them she ruined it. I come over to Louisiana Fried chicken where I received excellent service. So many of my coworkers /employees brag heavily about this restaurant. I've even had one of my friends bring me some to work for lunch before, and indeed it was so good ! Recently a group of us was at work craving fried chicken and were all discussing where we were going after work to get some. They all kept mentioning Henderson Chicken( the one in Desoto with the drive thru ) and kept raving about how inexpensive and good their chicken was. So peer pressured me into getting in line with the rest of them after we got off . I was not impressed at all ! They truly do over season their food. It's weird and hard to explain but the pickles and peppers that are served with the chicken is needed to kind of take away the saltiness. I won't or can't lie their chicken is good just a little too salty for my preference. And maybe it was just the cook that day because I've had their chicken before and enjoyed it fully .
