The ordering process could have been a bit smoother, but I think that was more an issue with the ordering machine. The chicken pieces was big and tender. The sides were not overly seasoned (could've used a bit more pepper imo) and not swimming in salt. I've been to Luci's a couple times and really like it! their tenders and nuggets are really good and cheaper than golden chick. Their nuggets are made to order so they take a bit longer but theyre really good, better than mcdonalds' in my opinion. Gravy is good, fried rice tastes like it has more dark soy sauce than light, but I know it's hard to get light soy sauce down here. I really liked this place, I got a 3 piece, fries and rice and somehow ended up with a corn too. They also say they charge for refills but they gave them free. The meal was around $11 and it was a lot of food. I spilt it with my daughter, the fries were good, I really liked the chicken and the corn was good. I've heard a lot about this place being really good, which is usually the case for me until today. I ordered a combination fried rice, spicy. First and foremost, I didn't know that this establishment's idea of spicy meant using sliced pickled jalapeños in the fried rice. Surprised by that alone, that wasn't the end of it. Worse Chicken fried rice I found in the area. Rice soak in soy sauce which I can't eat. Had eaten there a couple years ago and the fried chicken was ok. Have lived in Asia on/off for many years and have never found any fried rice like this anywhere in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia or Malayasia nor in Indonesia. Yes the catfish is real catfish, it curls at the end like catfish suppose to. It's fresh, tasty and hot. The okra was good as well. I didn't have the chicken and the Luci's rice but I heard it was delicious as well. I will be returning to try other things. read more

I stopped eating meat almost a year ago and finding something tasty without meat in the area can be a challenge. A few people at our church love this place so I talked hubby into going. So glad we did. I got the fried rice without meat and hubby got the #7 chicken fried rice. It was so delicious. We tend to go at least once a week!!! I highly recommend it. read more
