Have you ever bought a car online? I have several friends that have bought specialty cars and sports cars online but never thought I would. I am a finance guy and very particular so that makes buying a car even more difficult for me, especially when I am buying a car for my wife or one of my children, or so I thought. I currently live in Atlanta and was in the market to find a replacement automobile for my daughter. Despite the weekends looking for a suitable car, I could not find what I was looking for in the Atlanta area. Looking online I came across a nice 6th generation Honda Accord sedan at Hendrick Honda in Bradenton. The car had the accessories and options I was looking for, all service records, a clean carfax and 30+ pictures of the car had been placed online. I first chatted with Nichole online and the next day Michael Knight called me on the telephone. I discussed the pictures with Michael and talked about questions the pictures had raised. He went out, took specific pictures I requested and sent them to me within the hour. We talked again on the telephone about the additional pictures and a brief price negotiation took place. Within a few minutes, the items I requested to be fixed were agreed upon and I was the new owner. Brianne in F&I called and we discussed the paperwork and she walked through each document, explaining why the document was necessary and how it needed to be signed. The next day, I received the documentation with "Sign Here" stickies at the appropriate places. My wife and I executed the documents, enclosed a check and sent the information back the next day. After having a couple of minor items fixed in service, the car was transported to Atlanta. Michael kept me informed of when the car left and the expected time of arrival. When it arrived, I was happy to find the car to actually be nicer than it was described. The father and son delivery team were very professional, courteous and explained all the documentation I was getting with the car. A company is only as good as its people and Nichole, Michael in Sales and Brianne and John in F&I all made sure this was a smooth, positive experience. It is obvious Hendrick Honda in Bradenton, Florida has the concept and process identified and the right customer focus in place. My work brought me to the area, and my Acura RL's service reminder brought me to the dealership, however it is the service that consistently keeps me coming back. I no longer work in the area and each time my service reminder lights up on the dash, I make the hour- long drive from Tampa to Hendrick Honda in Bradenton for my vehicle's servicing. My relationship with the service department began with advisor R.C.Flint. Always the professional and never pushy, I knew that I could trust R.C.'s advice on my car's repair because he would always inform me of things that needed immediate attention and which issues I could hold off on. I never felt pressured into some unnecessary repair or service. Every visit was greeted by his genuine smile and his personable attention to the needs of my car. R.C. is not the only employee there though, wherever I encountered other employees, either going into the customer lounge, at the vending machine, or in the shuttle van and being driven to the mall, EVERYONE was genuinely friendly and kind. You could clearly tell that they truly enjoyed their job. On one occasion I was escorted into the garage to retrieve something from my car. I was shocked to see immaculate work areas with service guys getting it done for their anxiously awaiting customers. On my most recent visit on 7/7/14, I learned that I lost my beloved advisor, R.C. Flint to a well deserved promotion to the position of Service Manager. However when I drove into the breezeway, he managed to greet me as always with a welcoming smile and introduced me to my new advisor, John Ramirez. Although we just met, I could tell that he too has the same manner about him that R.C. has which is respect to the customer, fair dealings of service , and a genuine desire to keep the customer happy. I consider R.C. and now John a vital part of my professional service team; right alongside my dentist, doctor and manicurist. Thank you HHB, I couldn't ask for more. read more

We purchased a brand new Accord from Hendrick Honda of Bradenton back in 2009 after my car accident. We worked with John Nosal and he was just wonderful. He treated us with the utmost respect and didn't make us feel pressured. I have had experience in the past at other dealerships where the salesman was trying to sell me on a car I had absolutely no interest in, and this was most certainly not the case at Hendrick Honda. The entire staff is fun, friendly and easy to work with. Whether it's someone from the service department, or someone from the sales team, they are a terrific group of people. I was always greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. My husband and I decided that it might be time to trade in and upgrade to the new 2013 Accord, so we went back to Hendrick Honda and spoke to John again and we were not disappointed. Not only did John work out a great deal for us, but I got a fair trade-in price on my 2009 and was able to upgrade to a beautiful new car that I'm totally in love with! We had a little difficulty getting the bluetooth feature to work as John was helping me set up all my new features. After many attempts to fix the problem (with the help of a few other salesmen), we thought we had it working. As I drove home and tried to make a call, I found that it still didn't work. I called John once I got home and he had me bring the car back in the next business day to have the service department work their magic. Since he didn't want to see me inconvenienced any further he set me up with a loaner that was the exact same model as the car I had purchased. They fixed the problem at no charge to me, and I left a very, VERY happy camper. The bottom line is, if I had to buy a new car tomorrow, I would most definitely go back to Hendrick Honda of Bradenton and see John. I love, love, LOVE my 2013 Accord! I do a lot of research before I purchase a car. After reading consumer reports on auto ratings, I looked at the postings of two dealerships in Bradenton. I went went to the other dealership first because they had a beautiful powder blue car that really caught my eye. But it was sold. I looked at a couple of others there, but they were also sold, so I left to come here because I knew the 2013 Honda Accord was the top rated car in it's class. When I pulled into the lot, I rode around a few minutes to see what I could see. I stopped in front of a pretty blue care to check it out. While I was looking, a young salesman, David, came over and asked if he could help me. I told him I was looking for a blue 2013 Honda Accord. He said he didn't think they had one, but he would check with the manager. A few minutes later, the manager came over and said they had just gotten one in that was exactly what I wanted. I sat in it, looked at the trunk and engine, and took it for a test drive with David. This was my first experience with a Honda, and I was in love. I told David that if we could come to terms on the price with my trade in allowance, I would buy the car with cash. We came together, and I was exceedingly happy to drive out with my new car. The thing that also really impressed me was the dealership itself. I've bought a lot of cars over my long life, but I have never been treated this well at a dealership. David was very helpful in showing me all the bells and whistles of the car. Brittany did a marvelous job of getting the car registered and insured, and I walked out of there with all of the necessary paperwork and nothing I had to do except bring in the title the next day. I was also impressed with the warranties I have on this used car that only has about 3700 miles on it. I would like to take a couple of minutes to tell you about my experience with one of your Service Advisors, Ray Ramon. Mr. Ramon is the "Poster Child" for how warranty requests should be handled. I needed new tires and I explained to Mr. Ramon that I would like to use the manufacturer's warranty, because I only got about half of the rated miles for the tires. Do you know what Mr. Ramon had the audacity to say back to me? He said, OK. I was awestruck. Mr. Ramon is the first Service Advisor ever (no bull), that I have dealt with to not come up with one or more excuses as to why a warranty request couldn't be submitted to the manufacturer of the tire(s), I.E., "We don't do that", or "It's too hard to deal with the tire manufacturer", etc., etc. He contacted the manufacturer and figured out what to do & did it. It was so refreshing to NOT have to stand my ground and insist on the warranty work. I commend Mr. Ramon for his hard work. The world needs more people like Mr. Ramon who do their job and don't complain to the customer, well done. I have four recommendations: 1. Give Mr. Ramon a raise. 2. Have him write up an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) of how he handled my request, so all Service Advisors know what to do. 3. Have him do a five or ten minute training on this SOP at your next Service Advisor's meeting and make sure all new employees are also trained on it. 4. Every customer that previously purchased tires from you, who you sell replacement tires to should be informed of the number of actual miles they got out of the tire(s) and what the manufacturer rated the tire for & if the tire(s) didn't reach the rated mileage, be proactive and inform them that they may be able to get money back from the tire manufacturer, if the old tire(s) meet the requirements. read more

I have been a customer of this dealership since 1992. Trust me, I have looked at other Honda dealerships and they couldn't come close to the offers of Hendrick Honda, not to mention the feeling as if I am a part of the family. Just two weeks ago I bought my 2015 CRV from Mike King, he also sold me my 2013 2-door Accord Coupe and my 2008 2-door Accord Coupe, couldn't ask for better personal service from Mike, always friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I have also been dealing with Robert Stuart for many years, 1st in finance and the last several years as a new car manager. Robert is always very professional and courteous, any time I am in for service and he sees me, he makes it a point to say hello and see how things are going. I must also say I have the best service advisor Hendricks Honda has, Scott Bunker has been my advisor for at least 14 years. He is always friendly, communicates what I need to have down and makes sure I understand everything before anything is done. I must not forget one of the best service technicians I have ever met, Cody Singletary, he is always honest and up front with any issues or concerns I may have, is very respectful and treats me as the most important customer he has. Along with all this, my son has done business with this dealership when purchasing his 2008 Honda Civic and then purchasing a special request Chevy 2500 the dealership brought in from NC. Hendrick Honda Bradenton has been in the "family" for many years and I anticipate my 7 yr old daughter will be a customer in 2022 when she begins driving!!! I must once again recognize Mike King, Robert Stuart, Scott Bunker and Cody Singletary. Without them I may not have the well balanced experience I am accustomed to!!! read more

I had some repair work done on September 29,2017. I was met by Service Advisor Matt Winslow upon arrival at my scheduled appointment and explained to him what I believed was wrong with my 2003 Honda Element. MY vehicle was not idling right and I thought the idle air control valve needed to be fixed/replaced. A full service check resulted in not only the IACV needing replacement and reprograming but also the electric load detector was bad as well. The tech also made recommendations for other work, which I chose not to do at this time. Although I am never happy about paying for repair work, I did have a coupon (a good idea) which did provide a discount on the work. As is normally typical at many repair shops, I did not feel pressured to complete work that I didn't want done. In my estimation, there is nothing good about upselling to the point of making a customer uncomfortable.The Service Advisor was extremely helpful in explaining the details of repair work needed and was also very professional throughout my visit. Hendrick Honda is fortunate to have dedicated, competent employees who do their best to ensure that a customer is treated fairly and responsibly during service visits. I believe that Matt Winslow is one of those employees. It is not easy to provide customers with great service, and I'm sure there are times when employees get bad reviews which get the wrong kind of attention from supervisors. However, when an employee gets it right, they also need recognition for what they do. So, in closing, please do what you can to recognize and reward employees for doing a great job. We live in Maryland and drove to Siesta Key Florida to get married on the beach at sunset on July 25th this year. After the ceremony we discovered we had lost the key to our Honda CRV. By this time it was dark and we were late to our reception dinner. We left the car at the beach and rode with friends that night. The next morning we called Hendrick Honda in Bradenton to find out what could be done about our lost key and no spare with us. We spoke to a very friendly and courteous gentleman in the service department named Peter that calmed our frazzled nerves and assured us that he could help. Our CRV had to be towed to the dealership to make a new key. Peter told us he would call as soon as it was ready. At 1:00 that afternoon Peter called and told us to come and pick up our CRV, everything was ready. My brother and I drove to the dealership and directed to service department by some friendly people in the front. Peter was there with a smile and a handshake congratulating me on my recent nuptials. He then gave me a spare key they made to unlock the car and then handed me the original key to the car that he explained with utmost respect was on the front seat when he opened the door. What happened next blew me away! Peter apologized for our misfortune and told me there was NO CHARGE..."think of it as a wedding present from Hendrick Honda". In all the years of buying automobiles from almost every major company in the USA I have never been treated with such astonishing good will and friendly service. Every aspect of my experience has been positive. Richard, my salesman, helped me find the right car at the right price but I could not get every option that I wanted in time. I needed the car immediately. So I returned one month later to get the cloth seats reupholstered in leather plus additional details changed. Not only was the cost of customized, two-tone leather seats $1,000. less than any competitor but Hendrick Honda supplied me with a 2016 Civic as a loaner vehicle at no charge. The seats are beautiful and the styling changes, tinted windows, body molding and a chrome tailpipe make a big difference in the appearance of the car. Giorgio, at the service department, made scheduling a breeze. He got the car ready in record time. More importantly, he advised me on the styling changes. I was going to make some different choices but, after talking with him, I took his advice. So very glad that he guided me. If I had done it the way I originally intended, the results would not be as good. Body molding looks a lot better than a pinstripe. He was also extremely courteous in letting me know where we were in the process. The car was out for several days and he left a message to advise me about when we hoped it would be finished. He got it done a day earlier because a storm was due the next day . It is impossible to expect better service. Although I live a considerable distance from the dealership, they are worth the trip. Giorgio and the service team are the best that I have ever dealt him with and I have been a car owner for 40+ years. The entire sales team was amazing as well. read more

When I got to the store I was already upset because I've seen people go through long exhausting hours of waiting and complications in the car business. I didn't want to spend a whole Saturday there and I'm sure Greg and Scott sensed that. I was very ill and I didn't want to get much done that day. I cannot believe how fast everything went. I literally walked in, sat with Greg and Scott and within a few hrs, I was done. I've seen people at dealerships for up to 8 or 9 hrs. And I never wanted to be that person. Greg and Scott made it a point to make sure I was ok and that whatever upset I felt before walking in, would be something they would take into consideration and help me as much as they could. I left there with everything I needed to feel happy and secure with this Honda. The car chosen on first pick by Greg (you did good, even though I gave you a hard time at first) and even the fact that they explained everything multiple times because I'm a little slow, lol. Everything was great. I appreciate their help and their kindness. The finance manager I spoke with made me laugh a lot as well. (Oh yeaaa by the way, CONGRATS ON THAT VIRGINIA WIN) My mom was also very impressed at how quickly everything got done and how they showed us excellent customer service even during my little meltdowns. All in all, I've been doing business with this location for 5 years. From the car buying experience, to the service department, I couldn't be happier. I can't remember when exactly Matt Winslow became my 1 on 1 service rep. Nonetheless...That guy deserves a raise &/a promotion! Being a single mother, with a hectic schedule, time is always of the essence. I can call anytime, on any given day & he's never failed to meet every one of my needs. I'm the worst when it comes to scheduling appointments for servicing & it's never posed a problem, so long as Matt's in the building. The time frame I'm there, from beginning to end has been even more spectacular. Worked with 6 different Honda Dealers in the Central Fl. area to buy my new Civic, Hendrick employees were the most professional, and product knowledgeable of any of the Honda dealers I dealt with. Pricing was very fair & the deal we worked out on line was not changed one bit when I drove 70+ miles to buy my new car. Why did I drive 70 miles passing at least a dozen other Honda dealers to buy this car? Two of the dealers I worked with never called me back, another kept changing prices & tried to get me to take & pay for extra stuff I didn't want. The fourth tried to talk out of the car that I wanted & into a higher priced model. The 5th dealership was nice enough to imply that I was lying about the pricing I was seeing from other dealers when they wouldn't match it. I've been buying cars 30+ years and never found the process enjoyable, with the exception of Hendrick's Honda this time was no different. I've never written a review for any product before but the way I was treated throughout the car buying process by this dealership was worth a 5 star review. The process of buying new cars generally sucks, take your time do your research & once you've settled on the model you want take the time to find a dealer you can trust, it makes a big difference in the price you'll pay & the support you'll get after the purchase has been completed. This was the best experience that I ever had in over forty years of car purchasing. Richard, my salesman, was courteous and helpful. I needed a car immediately so there was no time to order one with all the options I wanted. This was my second Honda CRV but AWD was a requirement. There was also a price that I determined was reasonable from research online. There are two other dealerships in my area but they were less helpful and much more expensive. Neither could get me AWD and leather seats in a CRV at my price. Richard told me that I could get leather seats as an aftermarket change when I had time. Compared price at this dealership to competitors and independent alternatives. It was considerably less expensive. One month later, brought it back for leather upholstery and some other extras. Giorgio was my service representative. This man did everything to get my car finished early because a storm was coming. He contacted me to advise me about progress and made some upgrading suggestions that improved the appearance of my car considerably. Plus they gave me a 2016 loaner vehicle at no cost in the interim. The craftsmanship is first rate. The cost of two-tone leather on the seats was minimal. In every way, time, cost, customer srervice, the dealership delivered. We we're on vacation in Long Boat Key when our Accord's battery failed, sure I could have gone to the automotive store and bought a battery and replaced it myself however decided to call the Hendrick's Dealership in Bradenton. It was Labor Day morning and I spoke to Peter Del Sol and he let me know how much and how long it would typically take to change out the battery. So we decided to drive in (after a jump) to Bradenton to the dealership and when we got there it was packed. The Service department was very well manned and efficiently handled the large amount of people that morning. I meet with Pete and he wrote up my information and worked me into the line-up. I could see that it was going to take longer than I originally expected due to the crowd. Pete knew we we're traveling back to Jacksonville and said he'd get us taken care of as quickly as possible. He said if he could get us in he could get me out in about an hour or so. We walked next door for some breakfast and while I was ordering my food I get a call from Pete saying he'd got the battery changed out and we could pick it up and be on our way. By the time I walked back the car was already washed and sitting there waiting on me. I was at the dealership from check-in to checkout in 45 minutes. I want Pete to know I appreciate him getting us in and out so quickly and back on the road. What a GREAT place to business with. read more

My son is new to this area and had his car serviced in different states. His Accord needed a new battery, and I contacted Sears who said they were out of stock of batteries for that car. In fact, the employee told me no Sears on the West coast of Florida had the battery. An Accord? One of the most common cars in America! I located the battery in another Sears store in the area, but had an uneasy feeling about Sear's competence. I also have an accord, and have been quite pleased with your service so I said, let me call Hendricks for kicks-see what they'll charge. Although your price was $30. more, I felt more comfortable having Hendrick service the car. RC wrote us up, and while we're in the waiting room, my son had a brain flash that indeed the battery was replaced in Lexington, KY, while he attended college. I ran over to RC and relayed the information. I had no paperwork, only a knowledge of the repair shop. RC obtained the phone number and spoke with the shop in Lexington who confirmed the battery had been replaced. Here's the best part: It was completely covered under the fabulous 100 month warranty. RC was so pleasant and genuinely glad this worked out so well. I've always found your staff to be extremely patient, respectful and friendly. You also provide the best donuts for the morning repairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hendrick Honda Bradenton! I came in to look at a Subaru Forester from their Used Car lot. One of their salesman, Will, took initiative and grabbed the keys so I could take it for a test drive. During the test drive, I noticed the steering wheel was off to the right,the tire light was on, and there was a sound coming from the back wheels. Other than that, I was very happy with the vehicle. I decided to go ahead with the purchase with the agreement that the issues I pointed out would be fixed. As I was driving, the A/C stopped working continuously. After some tests and research, I discovered there was a well-known issue with the A/C in this model Forester. I called Will and informed him of the issue, he said he would have the technicians look at it as well. I brought my Forester in like Will and I had discussed, and Nick (Services) took care of things on his end. The entire process of diagnosing and repairs took one week, and Nick/Will communicated all the way through. They confirmed that all the issues, I had mentioned and proposed a solution for, were correct and resolved. The only thing missed was a minor alignment adjustment, which was the least of my worries. Will/Nick did an excellent job making sure I was taken care of and I will be doing business with them again in the near future! Thank-you for making this expereince a great one! read more
