I got my pedicure done here with Vicky and it was sooooo goood. I literally fell asleep when she was massaging. 100% would come again!!

The nail salon was neat and clean. But they did something I've never experienced before. They tried to up charge me for scrubbing my heels and calluses. They asked for $10. I said no. I've never been up charged for this before. It is a part of a basic pedicure! They are greedy which is disgusting! I will never go back again. I made a walk in appointment because I wanted my nails done for the holidays - nothing extravagant but just regular polish. I didn't feel very welcome from the moment I sat down however whoever greeted me at the front was amazing I'm talking more about my technician, I just felt almost a judgement the whole time? Maybe because I was a walk in or the simple service I request I'm not sure either way the whole time in the chair just kind of felt uneasy to me. I get that regular polish chips after maybe a week however I took these pictures 3 days after I got my nails done. In my opinion this is ridiculous and I feel ashamed to have wasted my money for something that wasn't even going to last. Again I get that regular polish chips but completely falling off after 3 days??! I won't be coming back here as the last two services I have had have been subpar. The manicure itself before it started flaking off was also uneven and there was a part of my nail that was "wrinkled" and the technician didn't bother to fix it before I dried my nails waited the 10/15min and then paid left a tip and then left and went on my way. Called at 10am for a gel x fill with Nina. They scheduled me for 2:45p. They called at 2:47pm and asked me to come at 3. No problem, I sat in the parking lot for 15 mins. Went in at 3... waited some more and at 3:10 they said someone else would start me and Nina "would finish me". Ummm no. Unprofessional and they obviously don't understand the purpose of booking an appointment. read more

All the red flags were there. And I still came here. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. First red flag: when my usual place couldn't take me I called here and they said I can come right away. second red flag: they make you sign a release of liability for a service!!!! What!?! Third red flag: they have anti-fungal treatment on the front counter for you purchase (a-hemmm) The woman working on me brought out the CLEAN tools AFTER I ASKED TO NOT TO USE THE SOILED ONES!! She kept using the dirty ones. And she huffed and puffed about it. How can you use dirty products from one customers FEET to another? Who's "verified" their license? I'd really like to know. This is the worst salon I've been to in Scottsdale. And I'm praying to high heaven I don't have said fungal, or any other inflection, post my service here. read more

On June 18th, I went to the Pink Petal Nail Salon in Scottsdale to have a manicure and pedicure. Tom, who has done my nails several times was busy working on my hands and feet. He was leaving the next day for a month of vacation to Vietnam to visit his family. Knowing that Vietnam is famous for Jade jewelry, I asked him how much a bracelet would cost. When he gave me the price, I realized it would be out of my budget and we changed the subject. I had not paid much attention to the young man sitting on my left. When this gentleman finished having his own manicure, much to my surprise, he stood up and handed two $100 bills to Tom and said buy this delightful Grandma a Jade bracelet. He walked out of the salon without giving me a chance to thank him. I thought it was a joke. I had another appointment today with Tom who had just returned from Vietnam. I never really thought I would get a bracelet, but as soon as I walked into the Pink Petal Nail Salon, I was handed a box and inside was the beautiful Jade bracelet I am wearing in this picture. First time visiting this nail salon. I called ahead and they were able to accommodate me within the next 30 minutes. Cass did my full set of gel x nails. She also did the removal of an old set. She was efficient and detailed. I am very happy with my full set. Ken did my gel pedicure. He also removed old gel polish. He helped with some of my ingrown toenails which I appreciate more than he knows! He was extremely detailed with my cuticles. Overall a great pedicure. No complaints, just compliments! If you are out of town and looking for a good place for a nail fix, DO NOT come here. Called for appointment for daughter and I for full service mani pedi. Never had we been rushed so badly and it's so annoying that they are giving such attitude. And very bad strong chemical smell when you enter. My daughter threw up. Additionally, I forgot to mention they did manicure first and then pedicure, so my daughter's mani was obviously finished early and they separated us to move her to pedicure section which I had to constantly look back and check on her. I mentioned on my call that she is four and wanted to make sure she has a good experience, the lady who answered the phone assured me, however the whole experience was completely opposite. The woman who did her nails was rude, rushing and gave so much attitude. Is it just in this salon that you do mani first then pedi, for both adult and child? My daughter's service was NOT 45 mins. I had to move to sit close to her and gave her my phone for entertainment and NO ONE was there doing anything for her. If you know kids' service takes less time then you should organize better. I go in with some Pinterest pictures and vibe of colors I'd like to stick to and I end up loving each set more than the last. She's very talented, knows what works best for your nails, and I can't recommend her enough. You can schedule appointments on their website with a specific nail tech which makes it incredibly easy to plan ahead and choose what time works best for your schedule. I requested a lavish mani ($30) and an aroma spa pedi ($55). They said lavender has been sold out for a long time; so I had to settle for Jasmine (not the end of the world, but still... order more). How in the world did my total come to $138 plus tip?! During my visit, they did my feet and hands at the same time. Definitely not relaxing! They were rushing. I asked why they don't separate the services. The lady told me because they have another appointment coming in. Obviously, my business didn't matter. What made me more angry was they repeatedly used a mildew smelling towel to wipe the sticky scrub off my arms and hands. To make matters worse, the polish they used is peeling up only after three days. What a disappointment because I drove from Phoenix to this location because of their high reviews. I got a severe nail infection - it's very painful and my doctor let me know that I might need to get my toe nails REMOVED. I removed my pedicure after realizing my nails were in pain, something I've never experienced before. While removing the polish, I noticed my nails were DETACHING FROM THE SKIN. Over a few days, the pain and detachment got worse and worse and I went to the doctor. She told me I had a severe nail infection from visiting a nail salon that didn't properly sanitize their tools. She said there is nothing I personally could have done to give myself this infection, and the timeline aligns with my pedicure. I'm getting put on medication that has a high failure rate + have been warned that nail removal is on the table. It's spread to multiple nails across both feet.
