I paid $333 for a Jetty view room and they gave me the worst room they had. The room was number 157…read moreand it had no view of anything accept the view of the other rooms which had a view. I was in that room less than five minutes and I called the front desk to expess my dissatisfaction and request another room. It was 2pm checking time so the young woman assigned me another room which she said was a Harbor view room. That room turned out to be even worse. A view of a pool fence a small glimpse of a harbor view. The room had no screen in the bathroom window which allowed pests to fly into the room and dead bugs in the tub. The toilet area so small you have to remove the toilet paper roll from the wall holder to sit on the seat. The closet doors were broken and couldn't close. The room was generally clean but my plan on staying a extra night there was out of the question.

I was in this store and witnessed a bizarre interaction with the owner and another customer who was just testing out the candles and air fresheners on display. He yelled at the man as if he was a small child destroying his wares! The man was not destroying or breaking any merchandise - after all, when one shops...we as customers need to inspect if the merchandise is damaged or is in the correct packaging before purchasing products. I was shocked as the owner's behavior escalated into a full-blown rage towards this customer. I then left the store and was walking down the steps towards the parking lot when I saw the owner run down the lawn after the man while yelling and screaming, dropping the F bomb at this man, approaching his car in a very aggressive manner to see where the man came from... stating that he was from Florida & to "go back to Florida!" This man who owns the store obviously has some anger issues and is mentally unstable. I have read previous reviews from people that had the same experience with this shop owner...If this man cannot handle "out-of-towners," then maybe he should retire. If it weren't for seasonal visitors, your local business would not survive. I was only in that store for 10 minutes and that was enough for me. There are many other stationary stores in the world with more professional customer service!! Definitely do not waste your time and stop by this business. This guy is bat shit crazy!!!!

We stayed another night, which is what we booked. Weeks went by, I never saw credit for the night. They had my credit card information! I called many times with the promise my refund was coming. It never happened! They lied. Will never spend money at any of their properties. They have a few under different names. As I read other reviews, I see another person with the same complaint! Scammers! Beware! Be also careful on what room you get.

The motel has extensive, attractively landscaped grounds with ample parking, plus a large outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a barbeque grill, and direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The on-site breakfast restaurant called Harrigan's Café was an added bonus. Their meals were delicious. Every employee we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This was a great find, and we are already looking forward to going back again next year.

It was confusing pulling in finding the front office, but luckily we saw a sign for it. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in providing information on how to get around. We found our room quickly and everything looked great. The room we stayed in looked clean including the bathroom and kept up with enough room for all of us. Our room included 2 big beds and was well set up. I happen to bring my own pillow on my stay away because it's much comfier while sleeping. I use the hotel pillow when just relaxing, and it's comfy for that purpose. Also worth mentioning the A/C in the room works very well, sometimes too well as it can get cold, so adjusting the temperature is a big key to making the room comfortable. The hotel provides an indoor and outdoor pool for anyone to enjoy from 8am to 8pm. It's very fortunate to find out that this hotel provides Harrigan's Cafe for breakfast (see my review), which is a huge plus for anyone staying at the motel and lodge. Definitely put Wellfleet Motel & Lodge on the list to stay at.
