I would highly recommend using the Funk Bus! I especially appreciate the owner Raphael who is responsive and easy to work with. This is such a unique and fun experience that every one of my friends still talks about. I booked this for my sister's bachelorette but would use this for any number of things like family or work parties as well. We booked this years ago before the pandemic hit, then needed to change and adjust our plans a few times due to covid. The funk bus was the best part of our trip to P-Town! Booking was very easy & Mike was very communicative throughout the process. I was even able to switch pick-up and drop-off times after booking. On the day of, our driver Kevin texted me with his ETA. He made sure we had a great experience. We loved how personable and fun he was the entire time. When we decided to leave the winery early, Kevin was there within 15 minutes. He offered to stop for bathroom breaks, food, and anything else we needed. My aunt got the funk bus for about 25 people, as part of a family reunion weekend we all just had in the Cape, and it was an absolute highlight of our weekend. My aunt had a route planned out to stop at a bunch of the beaches throughout the Cape, and we got off for about 20-30 minutes at each one. Our time on the bus was spent scream singing and dancing our hearts out, while being able to enjoy some drinks! Our bus driver, Kevin, was so incredible that he was dubbed "Uncle Kev" by the end of the trip. Absolutely recommend to ANYONE looking to have a fun time with a group of people. I hired the Funk bus for a trip from Chatham to the Beachcomber (in Wellfleet). We had 16 people, and so we were on the 20 person bus. Though the pricing was a bit steep ($70 a person, without gratuity) everyone i was with, including myself, thought it was totally worth it. We loved our driver, who indulged us by having a full photo shoot, as well as playing Jock Jams and 90's hits the entire way. When we got to the beachcomber, we all were a bit deflated because we weren't even ready to get off. The pick up was prompt and an easy trip home. My friends and I had a really poor experience with this company. First off, we paid a lot for the bus and were not impressed with its decor. They were essentially refurbished short school buses and not worth the price we were charged. However, that would have been fine if not for the end of the night.... We were supposed to be picked up at 2 am but called ahead and asked for 1:30. They said there was no way they could get there at that time and didn't get there until close to 2:30. For the price we paid for this bus, we should have had the bus available whenever we needed it. While the drivers were polite and professional, I would not use this company again. read more

Worst Experience ! Dont take this Bus. its a scam ! My girlfriends and I reserved the bus from 2pm to 1am and it was supposed to be $800 to take us to Ptown and Beachcomber. The owner " Mike" tried charging us an extra $40 each after the bus picked us up from Ptown. They never took us to Beachcomber and we got dropped back off to our hotel at 9:30pm. Needless to say we paid $800 just to get a ride to Ptown. " Mike" was the most unprofessional, rudest man. I would not recommend this service. read more

Great Time on the Party Bus !! We reserved the Funk Bus to pick our group of 14 up at three locations and take us to a clambake. The driver was on time and very accomadating. He returned ontime 3 hours later for our lively return back to Ptown. Anticipating our mood - he cranked the music loud and tolerated our boisterous fun ! I (like other reviewers) had no idea that an early pickup home wasn't possible. We used the funkbus for a bachelorette party and spent $600. We had no idea the bus wasn't ours for the night and that it was simply a ride there and a ride home. Our bride got a migraine and had to sit on the side of the road for an hour because "there was no way they could pick us up early". Meanwhile another funkbus (with a driver) was parked in the lot the entire time we were waiting. He easily could have brought us home. I think $600 for a glorified Uber is way too much. Especially because I have used "Any Occasion Limo" for 660 and it was ours for the night and MUCH nicer. Save your money and book elsewhere. read more

If Funk Bus is filling in for Plymouth and Brockton bus to Hyannis put a goddam sign on the bus and slow down when you see an older lady with suitcases standing on the route. I have been up since 5am waiting in morning chill for p-b bus as I have for over 40 yrs. little purple Funk Bus drove past me. Had to buy new $80 ticket Hyannis NY because one I had isn't refundable so Funk Bus and Mercedes and Cape Cab you owe me that 80 and put a sign on your buses and instruct the drivers to look out for passengers. We had an amazing time on the Funk Bus!!!! Raphael was the easiest to coordinate with and always responded to my emails and calls no longer than 1 hour! We reserved the bus for a Bachelorette Party in Provincetown and couldn't have asked for a better experience on the funk bus! We were able to bring our drinks on the bus, had our own music playlist, and Raphael put up with 18 girls! I would not recommend The Funk Bus. we paid $600 for a bus from 7pm until 1am. I spoke to Rapheal multiple times before our Bachlorette party. Every question I had he assured me that it would be fine I requested the pink bus weeks in advance and mentioned this 3 times over the phone. he said we could decorate the bus. he also told us we could drink on bus and to bring a cooler to store it. upon arrival a green and purple bus pulled up. I was extremely dissapointed as we had discussed this multiple times. also the driver told me I could not bring the cooler on the bus because he had other people to pick up inbetween us! so basically we paid 600 for a taxi ride. I called Rapheal who was immediately agressive. he put me on hold to talk to the driver in our driveway to get the story from him before explaining himself. Also the day before our party I spoke to Rapheal and he told me that he did not charge my card and he would just take cash when we got there. he charged my card one hour before they came to pick us up. After agreeing to everything I was asking for/about Rapheal was aggressive and did not follow through with the services he advertised. he was also very rude and did not care that he was ruining our night read more

We reserved a funkmobile bus to cart us around to celebrate a birthday party. What could be more fun than cruising down Commercial Street in a hot pink leopard print bus, singing along David Bowie through the on-board sound system, and being carted around on a pub-crawl through Ptown? The driver was a great sport (and didn't mind our horrendous singing voices) and took us to all the best spots in town. I called the day of to confirm pick up, they answered and confirmed it was all set. The driver Eric (super nice guy!) called me when they arrived to say he was in the parking lot of the hotel in P.Town whenever we were ready. We all got on the bus and it was awesome. Our music choices were able to be played through their sweet speaker system. The lights in the bus were green colored and funky. The outside was the white zebra painted bus. It was fun. He also gave us an option if we wanted to take the highway or go on the back roads for a little bit of a scenic/longer route. He was ready to drive us home when we were done at the Beachcomber. It was $50 per girl total of $550 buckaroonies for 11 girls. It was a more fun option rather than taking 2 separate taxi's or cabs because we all got to bring our drinks on the bus (leave a cooloer on the bus as well) and party together.
