    Update: my husband called the service manager. He told my husband the advisor found our appointment. It would still take 1.5 to 2 hours. What's the point of an appointment? Again....advisor has been polite thru it all. Been here 2 hours now. My husband made an appointment for 22,000 service (oil change) over a week prior. I show up 10 minutes early. I am told there is no appointment and it will be a few hours. We have no second vehicle as we are visiting with my sister for a few days and my sister works during the day. So here I sit.....says will take a few hours. I don't have much of another choice. I looked up where he made the appointment and it still shows we have one, but of course it is not in the system. Will say the service advisor was polite....only saving grace.

    I came to this dealership on Wednesday 7/5/2023. I was interested in buying a Mazda CX 5. I was given the selling amount of the 2016 car for $17,991. They were also trying to add on a doc fee of over $800 and requiring me to pay for a gps tracker in my car for $895 plus $250 for stain protection. This is against the law according to the ftc. Luckily I changed my mind and left the car where it was at. The law states that no fees or anything else can be added to the price of the car except the government mandated fees. Everyone needs to watch out for this.

    My wife and I were looking for a SUV to replace her Honda Accord. I love Honda's and it is all that I buy, however with children they just do not provide enough room for long trips. After endless research and renting SUV's, I found us a 2011 Kia Sorrento Ex that had all the bells and whistles, leather seats, but not just leather, they were powered and heated (not like we need them here in the south), two sunroofs, premium stereo system, etc... This was the only EX Sorrento that I could find in the state and it was located here at Hennessy Buick GMC used lot, which is located right next door to their main dealership. We drove over an hour to this dealership and as we were walking towards the rear door of their custom trailer (no, it is not a double wide), Mr. Freightman stepped out and greeted us. He is ex-military, so he was very professional and to be honest, hilarious too. My wife and I put down our $100 deposit so they would not sell the car and hold it until we came back the following day to purchase it through USAA. I have heard stories of other dealerships going ahead and selling the vehicle to someone else, so I am glad that they do hold cars if a small deposit is put down. We did a trade in and Marvin was able to get us within $500 of what we were asking, so we were happy and as a bonus he was able to get us a gas credit at a gas station that they use down the street. I do not like pushy sales people, who does? I knew what I wanted and we did not need to be sold anything, because we were buying. It was a pleasure working with Marvin here and I am glad he was our sales guy, he really made it easy and a good experience, as it should be. My only issue was that there were a few scratches on one door, nothing major, however Marvin did say he would try and get someone in the shop to buff it out or at least have some touch up paint mailed to us. Neither happened, so this is my only disappointment, after all, when spending almost $30k on a vehicle, it would be nice if everything was immaculately shape. We are still pleased with the Sorrento and have not had any major issues, besides the air blower (blower motor resistor?) staying on high, which is very annoying, for such a new car, but that has nothing to do with this dealership and is an issue with Kia Motors Corporation. Besides the paint issue, which is not a deal breaker, I would recommend this place and would definitely purchase again from Marvin. [Review #182]

    I had an amazing experience at Hennessy Mazda. Working with Frank Parker with the internet sales group could not have gone any better. I flew in from Memphis, was met at the airport and the car was ready and waiting for me. Frank was diligent to make sure that I understood all of the features of the car, answered all of my questions and went over and above to make my experience with the the Hennessy dealership and with him exceptional. I love my new Mazda and when we need another car, this will be the 1st place we go.

    Ms. Zenemi Jimenez is awesome. She found my dream truck without sending me through pointless conversation about what's "better" or "new". She asked me what I was looking for, and pulled up ALL my options. She saw my truck before me and told me she found the one and I absolutely love it!!!

My Camry had a no-start issue, and instead of trying to sell me a starter or some expensive repair like less honest mechanics might have done, Sherman took the time to properly diagnose the problem and found that a connector wasn't plugged in correctly. He fixed it quickly and had the car running again. On my Impala, he completed an oil change and repaired my cigarette lighter outlets, which had been damaged by an overpowered device that had melted part of the circuit. Everything is working properly now. He arrived on time, was professional from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and charged a very fair price. He even followed up by sending me a PDF with diagnostic codes and a detailed list of recommended maintenance items for future service. It's hard to find mechanics who are knowledgeable, honest, and transparent, but Sherman checked all three boxes. This was easily a 10/10 experience, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable automotive service. I appreciate the work, the honesty, and the professionalism. Looking forward to working with him again in the future.
