It took me almost a month to write this review because I could not find the words to express my feelings about what I experience as a customer at this dealership . Two people in particular Michael Tate and Hector have become like family to me. My husband chose Hennessy for me to purchase a vehicle. I went in blind, I had never heard of the Hennessy Dealership and I didn't know anyone who had purchased a vehicle from them, so I was a bit skeptical because I have dealt with some shady people at orher car dealerships. I was greeted by Michael Tate who helped us to look for a vehicle. He was extremely kind and professional throughout the entire business transaction. Within two weeks of purchasing the vehicle, I started having problems with the car shaking and cutting off. I called Michael Tate who told me to call him if I had any issues with the vehicle or any questions. He was extremely concerned and catered to my needs. He spoke with Hector who told him to advise me to bring the car back to the dealership. When I arrived ,  I thought that I was going to be there all day, but  they had a loaner vehicle waiting for me  and I was in and out within 15 minutes. Their mechanics checked my car from router to tutor and were confident that they fixed the problem, only for me to run into issues again with my vehicle. Again I was asked by Michael Tate if I needed a tow or could I bring it in, I drove the vehicle back. They had my vehicle again, for several weeks they kept trying to find what the root of the problem was. Each time I took my vehicle to them they made sure that I had a clean, dependable, newer model loaner vehicle to drive. Once of their mechanics ran into a dead end and felt as though they could not service the car and feel confident that it would run good, Hector advised me to take it to another dealership for other mechanics to look at it and they will pay for it. They did just that, they paid for it! Sadly however, after taking it to two other dealerships, none of the mechanics could figure out what the problem was with my car. I shot Michael Tate a text message asking him to inform their mechanics not to feel bad because no mechanic was able to figure out what was wrong with the vehicle. Michael discussed my issue with Hector and they told me to bring the vehicle back in to the dealership and to pick out another vehicle. They not only help me to find a dependable   vehicle that I love oh, AND they paid off my vehicle that I purchased from them the first time. I truly appreciate them and was moved to tears several times when I thought of how honest they were and how they treated me like family! Knowing that it was well within their rights to have said "You bought the vehicle As Is." I would advise eveyone to purchase a vehicle from Hennessy Auto Sales - they have integrity, they're honest, they are caring and professional individuals. By the way I feel obligated to add that I have not had any problems out of my new vehicle. I will be back when I am in the market for another vehicle in the future. read more

I have been looking online for a newer Tahoe for over 2 weeks. All the ones I was finding were either high mileage, older than my 2005, or too expensive to for me to buy. When I first started looking, one of the filters I was using was for the Tahoe to be no farther away than 200 miles. Then, last Tuesday, a 2014 Tahoe, with a little over 48K miles, came up on my searches, and was in my price range. I could not believe it! When I contacted the dealer, a very nice sounding young man answered the phone. The first thing I asked him was what is wrong with this vehicle? There was no way they had it priced as low as it was, so something had to be wrong! He assured me it was clean, well maintained, had a perfect Carfax, and sent me pictures. We talked back and forth for a day, or so, and he convinced me it was the Tahoe just for me. I got all the information to send to my bank, and set the wheels in motion to buy it, sight unseen. The salesman really made me feel confident I was going to find nothing wrong with it. It was only after I was getting directions to the dealership, that I realized it was 250 some odd miles away. How did that get past my mileage of 200 max miles??? All I could figure is it was a sign from above! We left out from Athens, Alabama, at 8:00 AM on Thursday morning and rolled back into our house at 9:30 that night, with the Tahoe of my dreams! We had travelled over 550 miles, round trip. Our salesman, Andre "ThaGiant" LeBlanc, had not misrepresented the Tahoe in any way. It was everything he told me it was, and then some. I know "honest car salesman" is an oxymoron, but that is what he is, the most honest car salesman I have ever dealt with. I would believe anything he says is the truth. He went with us on the test drive, answered every question we had, and made sure we were 100% satisfied, before we bought it. After about 15 minutes, we felt we had known him forever. He made us feel like we were family. Andre's manager, Henry Lewis, was a dream to work with, too. He made sure all the paperwork was correct and that we were happy with Andre, along with the Tahoe. Folks, I do not have the words in my vocabulary to accurately describe our experience with Hennessy Mazda Buick GMC! I feel not only do I have just the SUV of my dreams, but I have made a friend in Andre. I still don't know how this dealership bypassed my 200 mile limit filter, but I am glad it did!! When we get ready to upgrade again, you better know we are headed back to Morrow, GA, to deal with Andre. Hey, Henry, I don't know how much you pay Andre, but whatever it is, it's not enough! I worked at a several new car dealerships for 7 years and was privy to attitude of winning or getting over on the customer. The profit over people approach was why I left the car business. Hennessy blew me away with the way they put my needs above profit. I had been researching Sprinter vans for over a year looking for the right adventure van at the right price in my nationwide search. I called on a Sunday when the dealership was closed but LaMichael Wilkins took my call. I put a deposit on the Sprinter the next day pending an independent mechanical inspection. LaMichael was very responsive and helpful through the purchase process. I flew to from Oregon to Atlanta to pick up my Sprinter. Based on my experience working a dealerships, I expected the worst. The GM, Ricky Williams, came out to greet me personally with almost never happens. I started the 2600 mile drive and within 20 miles, multiple warning lights started flashing. At that point I was an owner with no recourse but I called LaMichael anyway. He asked me to bring the Sprinter back to the dealership. LaMichael and Ricky were both aware that I was driving long distance to get home. While I waited a few hours, they corrected the issues and replaced 3 sensors. They even went above and beyond with a we-owe promising to address and issues within 30 days. This kind gesture blew me away! Thank you LaMichael and Ricky for a pleasant buying experience. I believe Ricky was earnest when he said, "If we knew about the issues previously, we would have corrected them." I am currently in Denver and the Sprinter is with a diesel mechanic to investigate a burning oil smell and an apparent oil leak. More to come... read more

My husband and I just purchased a vehicle and we literally had the best experience anyone could have received. We didn't have to wait no longer than necessary and we got what we wanted, not what they wanted to sell us. We will stay with them when we decide to get another vehicle. About ten years ago we wanted a certain car and we found a dealership that could find it for us. Three weeks went by and the salesman found it and the day we were to pick it up my husband had just got off from work and was dirty from working outside and we had to get there before they closed, so we decided to meet each other there. When we arrived our salesman had an emergency and needed to leave, he turned it over to another salesman. The new salesman came out and we told him that we were there to pick up our car. That man laughed at us and said we couldn't afford that car and that he didn't have anything on the lot we could afford. He recommended we go to a buy/here pay lot across town. My husband went and got the manager, explained what happened, then took cash out of his pocket to pay for the car in full. Needless to say we didn't buy the car and the salesman lost his job right then. The salesman got our number and after days of harassing and threatening calls we had to get an attorney to keep him away from us. He was claiming he couldn't get a job anywhere on the lots and it was our fault. I don't see how this was our fault. Hennessy will NEVER DO YOU THIS WAY, in fact, the other dealers should work for Hennessy before taking a job anywhere else. They would learn how to treat people and make the sales the right way. The other day I came to this dealership to purchase a used 2015 Mercedes GLK250. Michael Tate was more than helpful throughout the whole process. He was concise and knowledgeable when going through all the paperwork and he made sure I understood exactly what I was signing. This dealership has gone above and beyond for me, making sure I was satisfied with my purchase, warranty, and experience in general. The sales manager, Mike Novotny, was very personable and happy to help wherever he could. Antonio Vincent, who is a part of their finance team, helped me to pick a warranty that worked best for my situation and provided me with an extended warranty at an amazing price that fit my budget. They made the whole car buying experience swift and stress free. Not to mention, when I was presented the vehicle they had already detailed it and pulled it up to the building and it was immaculate! From the moment I stepped on the lot I had a great experience! My initial sales representative was Joshua Roundtree and he was amazing! He took the time to not only take me on a test drive but he went over every detail of the car and the new system updates. And for this being my first time buying a car in over 15 years his patience and understanding of me not rushing to purchase meant a lot! By the time I was getting close to making up my mind to purchase he had accepted another job and I finished up with Sandra Speller. And, I was not let down one bit!! I just recently purchased a used car from this dealership. My last experience buying a car was not very good but this dealership was the complete opposite. I worked with Michael Green and I am happy he took my call Sunday when the dealership was closed. He was able to set up an appointment for me the next day and worked with my schedule since I work late during the week. He more then fairly negotiated a trade in for the car I purchased from his dealership. He also gave me a really good price on the used car I purchased. Usually I would try and negotiate further but this was the first time I just went ahead and signed the paperwork because of the confidence and service Michael provided. Everyone else I spoke with including finance and the manager onsite was also very nice and helpful through the process. There has not been an issue yet that I have come across from this purchase. I had the car checked out the following week and everything came back ok from that as well. I would certainly purchase a car from this dealership again and would recommend this dealership and Michael to anyone in the market for a used car. I had done all my research on the Mazda CX-5 that I wanted and when I entered the dealership, I was greeted by Shawn Robinson who was happy to help me. He had actually reached out to me earlier in the day about the exact CX-5 I was looking for. He was a pleasure to work with. I only wish since I came in with the pre-approval, that it did not take four hours to do complete the process. However, everyone was nice and friendly. When the car was brought around after being detailed, we all noticed that there was paint spots all over the car. After being there for so long, I was not happy. When they could not remove the spots that evening, the Sales Manager Chris Moore, assured me that it would be taken care of. He assured me that if the paint could not come off that we would switch the car out to a different one. Brought it in Tuesday morning, and later in the afternoon got the call that hey were able to get the spots off. When I inspected the car, they had gotten them all off. Andre LeBlanc is the type of straight shooting car salesman that you want to deal with! I walked on his lot and told him show me the truck you would buy. He showed me a nice truck and had me drive it to where they keep the vehicles that still are getting work done to them and showed me a diamond! Needless to say I bought the truck in less than a week with no hassle. I sent the details of the vehicle to my brother-in-law that sales cars in another state and he told me to that I was getting a steal. The next day Andre let me drive it to my mechanic and have him check it out and he said it was a steal. Andre treated me and my family with respect and even shared his lunch with me and my son while we waited on the finance guy. I had a great experience making my purchase from Hennessey. The sales team was knowledgable and friendly. They were not pushy and very accommodating. We were able to work out a great deal on the vehicle I wanted. The entire team at the dealership was great from Sales, finance, and service. I did have some issues from my crappy former lender giving me the run around. Scott the finance manager was on top off this and proactively resolved the issues immediately. There was no, I'll call you back later. He took the bull by the horns and resolved my issues immediately with me on the phone. My sales team Marcus and Anthony worked amazingly well to make sure all of my request were met. I will be back to make future purchases here. I called Hennessy Buick GMC dealership inquiring about a Mazda CX-5. I was, at the time, renting one and fell in love. My salesman was Andre Leblanc and he was beyond amazing. I told him about my situation, which involved a total loss vehicle, and he took everything into consideration and told me to come in. When I met Andre I had my one year old with me! Not only did he take care of my car needs, he helped me with my son as I was handling business. I didnt want to test drive the car because I knew I would have to transfer the car seat. Andre made sure I drove the car before he sold it so he transferred the car seat for me. I really do thank him for all he did for me and my son. He was very knowledgeable and gave great advice. Michael Tate was my salesman. He not only was able to help me get approved for financing but he also helped me find the perfect car to fit my needs. He took the time to show me a few models which I could get approved for but pointed out the different options so I could choose the one that fit me best. I've never had that kind of 5 star customer service in any other car buying experience before. Mike really seemed to care about giving me the best experience and not just about selling a car. This was a pleasurable experience for me . I have never bought a car by myself. I was hesitant and a nervous wreck. Mark Cooper was very professional and calm with my daughters and me with the purchase of our new SUV. Although I came to the dealership later than expected, he was more than patient with me to get the features I needed and wanted in the car. I believe it took me about a week to make a decision and there wasn't any annoying calls and e-mails pressuring me to buy.
