    Update: my husband called the service manager. He told my husband the advisor found our appointment. It would still take 1.5 to 2 hours. What's the point of an appointment? Again....advisor has been polite thru it all. Been here 2 hours now. My husband made an appointment for 22,000 service (oil change) over a week prior. I show up 10 minutes early. I am told there is no appointment and it will be a few hours. We have no second vehicle as we are visiting with my sister for a few days and my sister works during the day. So here I sit.....says will take a few hours. I don't have much of another choice. I looked up where he made the appointment and it still shows we have one, but of course it is not in the system. Will say the service advisor was polite....only saving grace.

    I came to this dealership on Wednesday 7/5/2023. I was interested in buying a Mazda CX 5. I was given the selling amount of the 2016 car for $17,991. They were also trying to add on a doc fee of over $800 and requiring me to pay for a gps tracker in my car for $895 plus $250 for stain protection. This is against the law according to the ftc. Luckily I changed my mind and left the car where it was at. The law states that no fees or anything else can be added to the price of the car except the government mandated fees. Everyone needs to watch out for this.

    My wife and I were looking for a SUV to replace her Honda Accord. I love Honda's and it is all that I buy, however with children they just do not provide enough room for long trips. After endless research and renting SUV's, I found us a 2011 Kia Sorrento Ex that had all the bells and whistles, leather seats, but not just leather, they were powered and heated (not like we need them here in the south), two sunroofs, premium stereo system, etc... This was the only EX Sorrento that I could find in the state and it was located here at Hennessy Buick GMC used lot, which is located right next door to their main dealership. We drove over an hour to this dealership and as we were walking towards the rear door of their custom trailer (no, it is not a double wide), Mr. Freightman stepped out and greeted us. He is ex-military, so he was very professional and to be honest, hilarious too. My wife and I put down our $100 deposit so they would not sell the car and hold it until we came back the following day to purchase it through USAA. I have heard stories of other dealerships going ahead and selling the vehicle to someone else, so I am glad that they do hold cars if a small deposit is put down. We did a trade in and Marvin was able to get us within $500 of what we were asking, so we were happy and as a bonus he was able to get us a gas credit at a gas station that they use down the street. I do not like pushy sales people, who does? I knew what I wanted and we did not need to be sold anything, because we were buying. It was a pleasure working with Marvin here and I am glad he was our sales guy, he really made it easy and a good experience, as it should be. My only issue was that there were a few scratches on one door, nothing major, however Marvin did say he would try and get someone in the shop to buff it out or at least have some touch up paint mailed to us. Neither happened, so this is my only disappointment, after all, when spending almost $30k on a vehicle, it would be nice if everything was immaculately shape. We are still pleased with the Sorrento and have not had any major issues, besides the air blower (blower motor resistor?) staying on high, which is very annoying, for such a new car, but that has nothing to do with this dealership and is an issue with Kia Motors Corporation. Besides the paint issue, which is not a deal breaker, I would recommend this place and would definitely purchase again from Marvin. [Review #182]

    I had an amazing experience at Hennessy Mazda. Working with Frank Parker with the internet sales group could not have gone any better. I flew in from Memphis, was met at the airport and the car was ready and waiting for me. Frank was diligent to make sure that I understood all of the features of the car, answered all of my questions and went over and above to make my experience with the the Hennessy dealership and with him exceptional. I love my new Mazda and when we need another car, this will be the 1st place we go.

    Ms. Zenemi Jimenez is awesome. She found my dream truck without sending me through pointless conversation about what's "better" or "new". She asked me what I was looking for, and pulled up ALL my options. She saw my truck before me and told me she found the one and I absolutely love it!!!

I had already been quoted a price from a previous call to a sister dealership. I was transfered to a sales manager who indicated that they do not give prices over the phone. From the start the manager was abusive, impertinent, bad-mannered, impolite, inconsiderate, discourteous, unmannered, graceless, curt, gruff, loutish, peremptory, short, uncivil, uncouth, unpolished, and insulting. A tall order to fill. And this is a manager, someone who is responsible for the leadership of others.

I do not like dealerships so, no matter how mean I got he stayed calm and did what he had to do to get me into the 2010 charger in black. It was nice. It had only one owner and was taken care of. The salesman gave me the carfax, and everything. Now, 3 years later I am still driving it. It has been customized to my liking however, i did not like being told I could trade my vehicle after paying on time and paying my payments. I did receive payment arrangements when I fell behind. So, overall my experience was pretty good. I did not know many people was having these type of issues. That is why I am writing this review, to ensure the get their props for being s cool set of individuals. (My downpayment was 2000, and I was able to get anything I wanted off the lot.) So, great job guys.

    Let me begin by first saying that I LOATHE shopping for a car. Not so much the "window shopping,"…read morethat's the fun part...but the actual negotiating/haggling process. I hate it. So, we went through the Sam's TrueCar Program (highly recommend) to eliminate much of that part of the process. I got an email via TrueCar with an offer for pretty much exactly what we were looking for through Hennessy Mazda...among several other offers in the surrounding Georgia businesses along with our local Tn dealerships as well. Hennessy had the best price. My husband and I decided to make the 2+ hour trip. Since I hadn't connected with anyone personally there yet...and I'm a firm believer in researching reviews to find the best possible person to help us, I did just that. I searched the reviews on more than one venue. I came across Dee Hines, time and time again. Rave reviews! I knew he would be our guy, Lord willing. I called...and the Lord was willing! :) He happened to be at work that day. We arrived at the dealership and I was wowed! I had been to a couple of local one's and they had nothing on this dealership. Very nice in every way imaginable! Refreshments, snacks, a beautiful showroom! Just a lovely display. Dee Hines greeted us with a smile and warm handshake and, what I thought was going to be such a grueling, dreaded process actually turned into a pretty smooth, and uncomplicated overall experience. Dee answered every single question thoroughly and efficiently. I could tell he was doing his best to make us feel as relaxed as possible...and he did. He's even been available to answer any follow-up concerns since then. Pretty great! We ended up getting the gorgeous car we had traveled there for and we left feeling like we made all the right choices. So--if you're looking for a dealership, I HIGHLY recommend Hennessy Mazda. If you're looking for a car, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 Preferred is outstanding! If you are looking for a trustworthy and dependable salesperson, ask for Dee Hines. He's your guy. You won't regret it!

    Every time I need to get service done to my car, it's like they are afraid to communicate and…read moreprovide transparency. I had to get my windshield changed, they wouldn't answer my calls or calls from insurance. Currently getting an oil leak repaired and my car has been there for over 12 hours-no update on status and no one is answering the phone. I also believe they are either fraudulent and money hungry or they hired incompetent mechanics. I've had work done outside of the service timelines, getting something's done early, and it's like they cannot tell the work has been done or just expect me to not notice they are pushing for unnecessary work.

    Horrible experience! 0/5 stars…read more When I first test drove the mustang everything was fine, no codes or overheating. Then just 8 minutes after signing the papers and driving out, it over heated. The car was labeled as "well maintained " but it clearly was not. They never said anything about overheating issues otherwise I would have never financed the mustang. Nearly 3 weeks of them trying to fix the car but nothing worked. Then on top of that when I asked for papers of what they did to "fix" the problem on the mustang they would give me a attitude and just string me along say, they will give it to me then never did. When they say "I will call you back in a bit" don't expect them to. When I tried to cancel the deal they kept telling me I wanted the car in the first place, YEAH NO DUH! BEFORE I SIGNED THE PAPERS! They also kept speaking to my fiance about the issues and not confirming things with me first even though the deal was with me. At first we thought it was just the coolant and spark plugs being old but it didn't fix the issue and it was much deeper than we thought. We took it back and they had it in the shop for a long time, however the THIRD TIME IT WAS WORSE! HOW DOES SOMETHING GET WORSE IF YOU ARE FIXING IT! On top of that they resent the mustang a fourth time without speaking about it first. At the end they never were able to fix the issue. Mostly everyone there has a very nasty attitude after you sign papers and are only nice before you sign any papers. Most of the cars there are "as-is" even the Chevrolet ones. I should have just financed a car somewhere else with better attitude and saved my self the stress.
