The prices are ridiculous I swear, if you ask me. 60,000 miles service (changing some fluids) 1222.76+ and that doesn't come with a rear windshield wiper replacement or some new spark plugs... smh!! You'd think for all the time you wait and money spent, they could offer more than just water, coffee, or tea. Plenty of seating for you to choose from while you're waiting. Update: my husband called the service manager. He told my husband the advisor found our appointment. It would still take 1.5 to 2 hours. What's the point of an appointment? Again....advisor has been polite thru it all. Been here 2 hours now. My husband made an appointment for 22,000 service (oil change) over a week prior. I show up 10 minutes early. I am told there is no appointment and it will be a few hours. We have no second vehicle as we are visiting with my sister for a few days and my sister works during the day. So here I sit.....says will take a few hours. I don't have much of another choice. I looked up where he made the appointment and it still shows we have one, but of course it is not in the system. My experience with Hennessy GMC in Morrow has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair turned into a month-long ordeal with constantly changing stories, hidden charges, and poor communication. The Initial Problem- I dropped off my truck on January 24th due to a check engine light. My service advisor informed me that I needed a new engine, which was covered by my extended warranty purchased from Hennessy Cadillac in Duluth. The Warranty Run-Around- This is where the problems began. Despite having a warranty, I was told I would need to pay an additional $1,000 plus my $250 deductible for "labor costs not covered by the warranty." When I asked my service advisor to negotiate with the warranty company, he claimed they "wouldn't budge" and actually tried to frame the $1,000 charge as some kind of favor, saying I could be paying $13,000 for a new engine! The Rental Car Situation- The warranty only covered 6 days of a rental car, but my truck was at the dealership for WEEKS. After being given the runaround about a loaner vehicle, I finally had to show up in person on February 7th, and even then wasn't provided with a loaner until February 13th - nearly three weeks after I dropped off my truck. I had to pay nearly $700 out of pocket for the rental car, of which I'll only be reimbursed up to $240. The Warranty They Sold Me- Here's what's most upsetting: I contacted Hennessy Cadillac in Duluth (where I purchased my truck and warranty) and they confirmed that Hennessy GMC in Morrow should be honoring the terms of the warranty they sold me. They even reached out to the service director in Morrow directly. Despite this, my service advisor never followed up, and when I finally spoke with the service director, he acknowledged the call and said they would fix the pricing since I bought the car at Hennessy. The most frustrating part is that my service advisor never even asked where I purchased my car to see if he could remove the additional labor costs. It seems like he was deliberately trying to charge me extra somewhere to generate revenue from the claim. More Charges Keep Coming- After being told the labor costs would be covered, I was then informed I would be responsible for paying for all the "accessories" for the engine - seals, bolts, spark plugs, belts, the balancer, etc. - totaling about $700 including my deductible. The Spark Plug Incident- I had just replaced my spark plugs the day before I dropped my truck off, so I asked them to use those instead of charging me for new ones. The service advisor claimed they "probably have buildup" (on brand new spark plugs?) but agreed to remove them. I never received these spark plugs back, despite being charged for new ones. The Final Bill & The Audacity- When I received my invoice, there were numerous unexplained charges. My service advisor claimed he "couldn't remove anything" and didn't even bother to escalate my concerns to management. To top it all off, as I was leaving, he had the audacity to ask for a positive review on the customer survey! Then mentioned he would have put gas in my car but saw I "only use premium" and they "can only pay for regular." When I suggested they could have given me a credit instead, he claimed he did give me credit "for them spark plugs" - the same spark plugs I never received back! The Bottom Line- Do they honor the warranty they sell or not? Why did I still have to pay nearly $700 out of pocket for a warranty repair? This experience has been awful from start to finish. I've been a loyal customer for oil changes despite living in McDonough, but I'd rather drive all the way to Duluth than return to this location. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

From the very beginning of the car process Frank Parker was energetic and happy to show me my options as well as taking time to send video of the truck I wanted. He was good with following up by calling and text when I was busy. Dell Browning the sales manager made me feel confident about my purchase and was happy yet calm in helping me know what I needed and steps to be taken in a sale. He was extremely personalable and didn't mind my many questions. I really feel he walked me through the out of state purchase process. Once getting to finance Torrance Grisson went over my numbers in detail and explained the breakdown of costs. California tax's, registration, shipping . When Torrance had day of Chris Brown in finance didn't mind going extra step and confirmed info I needed to send down payment to ect. It was fine. Two weeks later my vehicle started running hot. Thank God, I purchased an extended warranty. Was going to take it to a certified jeep place because I purchased a 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee from them and was told I could take my warranty to someone closer to me because I live an hour away with the warranty. then the warranty people turned around and told me that I had to take it back to my dealer if I was less then 50 miles from them . That had my car for over a week and kept telling me that they drove it and there was nothing wrong with it so I decided to go get it to take it to a jeep place and when I got there thank god I checked it out myself before leaving.my vehicle had barely any water in the reservoir that they claimed was not leaking and it was smoking white smoke like hell that they claimed magically stopped the whole time they had it until I got up there I guess.I don't understand why they did not want to fix my vehicle I wasn't even trying to make them fix it for free I was going to use my warranty so they would have still got payed. I purchased a BMW X3 at Hennessy Buick GMC Mazda of Southlake on September 25th, 2018, and I did not pay much attention to the sales tax charged by the dealer. Last month when I went through the purchase invoice and noticed that the dealership overcharged my sales tax by several hundreds of dollars. I called the dealership and Jim Hitchcock from their finance department checked the purchase invoice and agreed with the overpayment. However, he said the overpayment was refunded to me. I bought a Mazda CX50 in October 2022 and in February 2023 the car stopped running. Got it towed to the dealership and they found that rodents chewed the wiring. I honestly do not what animal did it or how it's always parked in my driveway in a new subdivision. It's been over a month and a simple wiring replacement haven't been done because the wire harness is on back order until May. So I would be without a vehicle for 3 months. This is ridiculous, they said if I buy a harness not certified by Mazda my warranty will be nullified. So I'm supposed to pay for a rental because they won't give me a loaner or rental because it's not a manufacturing problem and my insurance only covers my rental for 30 days. This is exactly why I own Lexus vehicles for all my car driving years. I finally gave another car dealership a chance and I get horrible service. Honestly can't wait for the vehicle to get fixed so I can get rid of it and go back to Lexus because this has been a horrible experience with Mazda. DO NOT buy a Mazda especially not a CX-50. They accelerate slow and is not a great experience driving and the dealership takes forever to update you on your own vehicle every time you call they always going to have someone call you back and never do. I came to this dealership on Wednesday 7/5/2023. I was interested in buying a Mazda CX 5. I was given the selling amount of the 2016 car for $17,991. They were also trying to add on a doc fee of over $800 and requiring me to pay for a gps tracker in my car for $895 plus $250 for stain protection. This is against the law according to the ftc. Luckily I changed my mind and left the car where it was at. The law states that no fees or anything else can be added to the price of the car except the government mandated fees. Rilyn/ kinsley Lanison I purchased a car from this dealership on 03/15/23 and today (03/31/23 )the check engine light came on with a code of P0300 indicating that two or more cylinders are experiencing misfires. I called and spoke to the Manager Marcus Bryant and he states it is an "as is" sale, taking no responsibility for a sale made less than 15 days ago. During the entire purchasing process I was reassured over and over that the car was in excellent condition and passed all inspections. They made me feel confident that I could trust them by giving me the KBB specs, however I brought home a car that, 15 days later, is already having trouble . I was told to "just use my warranty" when I haven't even had the car a month. If I wanted to buy a LEMON I could have gone to a small town dealership, not HENNESSY MAZDA, a reputable dealership. My wife and I were looking for a SUV to replace her Honda Accord. I love Honda's and it is all that I buy, however with children they just do not provide enough room for long trips. After endless research and renting SUV's, I found us a 2011 Kia Sorrento Ex that had all the bells and whistles, leather seats, but not just leather, they were powered and heated (not like we need them here in the south), two sunroofs, premium stereo system, etc... This was the only EX Sorrento that I could find in the state and it was located here at Hennessy Buick GMC used lot, which is located right next door to their main dealership. We drove over an hour to this dealership and as we were walking towards the rear door of their custom trailer (no, it is not a double wide), Mr. Freightman stepped out and greeted us. He is ex-military, so he was very professional and to be honest, hilarious too. My wife and I put down our $100 deposit so they would not sell the car and hold it until we came back the following day to purchase it through USAA. I have heard stories of other dealerships going ahead and selling the vehicle to someone else, so I am glad that they do hold cars if a small deposit is put down. We did a trade in and Marvin was able to get us within $500 of what we were asking, so we were happy and as a bonus he was able to get us a gas credit at a gas station that they use down the street. I do not like pushy sales people, who does? I knew what I wanted and we did not need to be sold anything, because we were buying. It was a pleasure working with Marvin here and I am glad he was our sales guy, he really made it easy and a good experience, as it should be. My only issue was that there were a few scratches on one door, nothing major, however Marvin did say he would try and get someone in the shop to buff it out or at least have some touch up paint mailed to us. Neither happened, so this is my only disappointment, after all, when spending almost $30k on a vehicle, it would be nice if everything was immaculately shape. We are still pleased with the Sorrento and have not had any major issues, besides the air blower (blower motor resistor?) staying on high, which is very annoying, for such a new car, but that has nothing to do with this dealership and is an issue with Kia Motors Corporation. I bought my vehicle through GMC in Tampa, Fl. I bought the extended warranty for tires, rims and key. I made an appointment for my tires, rims and a missing key with this company on Monday 10/2 at 9:20am. I dropped off my car on Sunday night. They never called me Monday. I called 4 times, leaving a VM, leaving my name and phone number just for an update. Finally the service advisor, Jackie, called me back stating they couldn't find my keys, which was my fault.. I put them in the wrong box, but if they would've called me Monday it could've been handled then and not delayed a day. She was on vacation and nobody took initiative to call me back smh. It took them Wednesday to call the Warrenty company. which they told me they can only change the tires and not the rims as they are chrome and that's not covered. I wish I was told that when I bought the warranty, but whatever. They told me they will charge me for the reprogram fee of the key and I would have to call the GMC I got the vehicle from instead of calling the key warrenty, they would not help me with the missing key fob.. How aggravating. Jackie, the service advisor, told me the car was done Wednesday but they are waiting for the warranty company to pay them and I have no deductible. She said 24-48 hours. I was mad it took this long, but I waited. Came in Friday and they told me I couldn't cause they still didn't pay. Refusing to give me my vehicle when I owe them nothing, it's the warranty company that owes $80. They do not communicate, do not cover all warranty issues and tried making me wait. They ended up giving me my keys once I vented how poorly they handled my concerns and how horrible this is. I will not recommend this location nor will go back. read more

I took my GMC Canyon pick up in for regularly scheduled Maintentence. That was a week ago. Today I noticed an oil spot where I park, and so I looked under the truck. I discovered that the sump plug was barely installed maybe 2 or 3 turns. Had it popped out during a freeway drive that likely would have resulted in a severely damaged engine. This kind of ineptitude is inexcusable and unfortunately the lowest rating I can give is a 1-star. Oh yes, no new costumer discount or appreciation offered or granted. Customer service was decent up until they closed the deal on the sale. Once the deal was done it went down very quick. Within the first week of buying my vehicle I received an email from the salesman Michael Tate stating that I still owed them $500. This was literally after I paid them my down payment and brought the remaining in a check from the bank. Apparently they messed up the numbers on the purchase they gave me to give to my bank?? Second issue and by far the biggest was that prior to buying my 2014 Chevy Express Cargo van I was made aware that they had to repair the latch in the sliding side door before it could be sold to me. A little over two weeks of owning the vehicle and have not yet used it for work the sliding door became stuck and would not open. So I logically thought it had something to do with the latch issue. I contacted Michael Tate at Hennessy and he had me bring it in for them to look at it. He did say he couldn't guarantee anything but he would have his guys look at it. They literally had my vehicle for over two weeks!! Phone call after phone call, excuse after excuse. I was finally told that there is a problem with the handle and it would be $500 to repair. I recently reached out to Hennessy, inquiring about a truck that I was interested in for my business. I am now compelled to share my experience for any potential customers. First, I spoke with the dealership's financial director, Scott, and discussed my credit application. Scott assured me that my credit would be pulled from one specific financial institution. I later learned that there were four inquiries on my credit report, rather than the one single institution we agreed upon. In addition, the dealership and I reached agreement for the truck. After agreeing to specific numbers, the dealership contacted me regarding additional registration costs. From the moment I expressed interest in the truck, I made clear that I would be registering the vehicle out of state and for commercial purposes, which requires that I personally register the truck (i.e., there should be no registration fee charged by the dealership). Nonetheless, the dealership insisted that these additional costs be paid. Lastly, during the process of attempting to purchase the truck, I continuously had to reach out and request that someone contact me in order to discuss the sale. I felt that the dealership failed to make me a priority or provide me with sufficient service to solidify the deal. Even after reaching out to the manager and requesting that someone call me again, I never heard back. Ultimately, I requested that my deposit be refunded and that the dealership contact the credit bureaus to correct the impact that the unautohrized credit pulls had on my score. While I was refunded my deposit, the dealership has yet to acknowledge my request concerning my credit. read more

We found a vehicle online. Put a deposit. Went to pick it up. Sandra did a swell job getting us a final number after an hour of waiting. We did not have to haggle. When we accepted the price, it took FOUR hours to get through financing. They had people backed up ahead of us and behind us. I know, you question, we had to negotiate financing. We did not. BUYER BEWARE. I was moving forward to purchase a used vehicle at their asking price. When it came time to pay they tacked on "fees" and miscalculated over charges in the PO. When corrected and given back to me, there were other fees that went up. Before I finalized the sale I discovered that the tires were the incorrect load specification at 108 when it should be at 119. Grossly under and extremely dangerous. I requested that the tires be changed to the correct tires before I purchased. They said no the tires are fine. I was taken back how they didn't really care and are knowingly selling their cars that places their customers in danger. I canceled the purchase with the understanding that there maybe other defects with the vehicle. What a waste of time. I hope they do the right thing and change the tires before they sell it to some unknowing family and Hennessy places their lives in danger. Update 9/27/19: Nexen says they are 108. I took my NEW 2066 GMC Sierras 3500 dually diesel for first maintenance. Employee ran into a large concrete column severely damaging my truck. Took over seven days to repair. I haul classic cars in an enclosed gooseneck trailer. Hennessy could not get me a vehicle that would pull my goosneck trailer. Gave me a useless Yukon. I had to pay over $1000 to rent a truck that would pull my trailer. No compensation from dealer. Second maintenance visit I told service tech that I had just noticed that one of my inner dually tires was flat. I had pumped it up before but had gone flat again. Slow leak. Part of the maintenance is to check air pressure and rotate tires. When I picked up the truck, noticed that the lug bolts had not been disturbed. I drove for lunch and when I came out that the inner tire was still flat. I called the dealer and told him the tire needed to be repaired. I went back to the dealer, spent an hour in the waiting room, AGAIN! checked the tire and it felt ok, but four hours later it was flat again. Obviously they had not repaired the tire and done no more than added air. read more

Avoid at all cost. We test drove and bought a 2016 SUV on 6/8/19. We were told to come back on Monday the 10th for pick up bc it would get new tires, deep cleaning, and waxed. Monday turned into Friday the 14th when we finally decided to show up and demand our vehicle. We then had to take it back a few days later due to an Onstar transmission alert. We were told that everything was fine and sent on our way. On 6/25/19 the transmission went out!!!! Had it towed there and not until 7/1/19 after multiple calls did they tell us the line pumping the transmission fluid had not been properly replaced when they did their inspection. I came into the service department to get my oil changed on 4/17/2021. I arrived at about 8:40 and got a text a 8:49 about being able to check the status of my service. I was told that it was going to be about an hour and a half to two hours and I was fine with waiting for that time. I began to check the status and noticed that nothing had changed about the status of my order and I continued to wait. Well honestly, 4 yes 4 coming close to 5 hours go by and I still haven't heard anything. Another lady had been waiting the same amount of time that I had and we asked to speak to the service manager. Come to find out the lady that had been waiting with me car had been ready for someone and NOBODY told her and she had been waiting just as long as I had. To make matters worse, when they looked at my ticked it showed that NOTHING absolutely NOTHING had been done to my car. It had been sitting untoched and nothing was ever completed. By this time I am extremely mad and just ask for my car back. All that was said to me by the service consultant Mckae Payton was "I'm Sorry and have a great rest of the weekend" Nobody tried to rectify the situation and offer to do my oil change complimentary or anything. I am very unhappy and I will NOT recommend this service department to ANYONE... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY WILL APPRECIATE YOU AS A CUSTOMER. I now have to take more time to find somewhere else to go and get my oil changed because of what happened to me today. Went to cosign for a vehicle...when the finance guy came back I was not a cosigner but the primary Red Flag 1..... got the vehicle on the 25th of May, had to keep sending documents... no problem it's the process. Called to pay my car not on 14 June as it would be due 24 June.... the bank rejected the loan because they could verify Husband employment on the 11th. Never got a call from the dealership... le to say I dropped off the vehicle 2013 Dodge. Charger and Financed through Navy Federal 2018 Dodge Charger. This dealership is not recommended and if you have to use them make sure all your paperwork is together when you leave... this is the worst process I have had when purchasing a vehicle. They were just interested in trying to sell me a vehicle making the most commission possible while trying to get over on a woman buyer. I decided to go to Hennessy because back in 2014 I had purchased a vehicle from Mr. Leblanc and he wasn't into that high pressure car selling business! I left feeling like I was taken care of just as well as he would've taken care of a family member. Everyone involved in the sales process was extremely informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. Horrible experience at Hennessy trying to buy a car. I was sucked in buy a low price online for a 2016 Mercedes Benz to find out that car was a "loss leader" and already gone. So I was showed a couple of other 2016 cars and the first one we drove ran hot and broke down on the test ride. I then find another a proceed to try to make a deal. When my trade in was "appraised" the manager came in 2000 less than CarMax did. I told the manager and also showed him were CarMax had the same car listed for lower. The Manager suggested that I go buy CarMax's car and that exactly what I did and I ended up saving over $2K. Thanks for the suggestion. read more

go in for a service emergency brake light and they tell me my truck isn't letting them read the codes which sounds crazy and makes no sense and want to put a gateway in that cost $600 before they can tell me why the light on so I say no and pay them a diagnostic fee and take it to another dealership and they read the codes and say it just needs reprogrammed so I call them thinking they would at least give me my money back but they don't want to read more

This dealer was the most high pressure experience I have ever dealt with My wife and I were treated like a wallet that needed to be emptied ASAP Took a used truck for a short test drive was told nothing about the truck features and controls Back at the dealer while negotiating we were informed that they were losing money on the deal Car fax said truck was a one owner lease that was sold at auction in Connecticut And they wanted about $21,000before taxes and fees ( 2015 GMC Sierra with 54000 miles) Went to south town GMC Buick dealer Got a 2016 Chevy Silverado with 41000 miles lots with lots of extras and the most pleasurable sales people to deal with For about the same money So in closing I say suk it Hennessy of morrow Stay away from this place far away I would give them not one star if I could read more

I bought a 2011 BMW X5 from this shotty dealership in December 2015. It came with paperwork of all the services it had performed on it prior to my purchase so I felt reasonably comfortable with purchasing it. I did not think I would have problems with it because the Hennessy name meant Quality, Honesty & Valued Service to me. That was then, this is now. I drive the truck only on weekends. The first time it broke down was mid February 2016. It was smoking and antifreeze was everywhere. The repair shop said it was the radiator. They replaced or repaired the radiator. Thank God I purchased the warranty the dealer pushed on me at the time of purchase. Two weeks later (on a Saturday in February 2016), after driving the car only once since the first repair, the car wouldn't start when I attempted to leave the grocery store on. I had it towed to a BMW specialist. Here is the laundry list of things wrong with the vehicle this time: Needs: *New Starter *Oil Filter Housing Unit is leaking ALL over the engine *Front Brakes (Rotors, Pads & Guards)- $852.00 alone- The Warranty Will NOT Cover That *Thermostat is Broken *Water Pump needs to be replaced Once they get the car running again, they will do another diagnostic to see if anything else is wrong with it. I called Hennessy. The sales manager told me 'there was nothing they could do. I bought the car, I had three days to get it checked out'. By the way, I bought it on a Tuesday night, three days before Christmas. No one would look at it for me to have it inspected. When I called that Thursday, Dec. 24th, I informed the dealership of my dilemma. My initial sales person said 'we wouldn't sell you a car with problems. It will be fine. It drives fine'. Yeah right! Once you drive off the lot, keys in hand, this dealership could care less about you, your car or the repairs needed to make your purchase run reliably on the road. They are not trustworthy.
