As usual my service advisor Matt Cowart did everything right The service was to replace two parts of the throttle control system as the car had become unsafe to drive. I have used Hennessy since I bought the CTS 11 years ago and the staff, quality of work, honesty and knowledge have always been the best. Our 2005 CTS is out of warranty. We had three problems: The power driver's seat motors were working erratically and beginning to fail, the condensate line from the air conditioner was leaking into the passenger compartment, and the car failed its emissions test due to a computer issue. The carpet and pad had to be removed in order to dry. Our service adviser Matt was super as always and assured that all issues were resolved as quickly as possible. If I can give no star I would do it. My elderly mom took her car for service and was recommended other services that cost extra. She got a second opinion and was told it was not needed. She also had tire locks and was told they could not route the tires because she didn't have the keys. Wanted to charge her for the hours to get the locks off which every dealer has a master. They are always trying to find a way to up charge her. Please find another place to do your service. read more

I know we all believe that model specific dealerships should have the best trained technicians to repair their brand specific vehicles they sell and service. Or possibly, just my own thinking. I've dealt with this dealership before out of pocket in the past, on my escalade warranty for a repair that was done not once but twice at two separate Cadillac dealerships, the first under warranty and then again at Hennessy here in Duluth out of pocket. Same issue motor mount is bad $1200 fixed it so they say. To this day have the same noise but they fixed it? Ok, present day Escalade is starting intermittently until fully failed starts. Security lock on engine won't crank at all. Owner manual attempted anti theft relearn procedure will kill your battery. Now, my wife take it to the dealer stop procrastinating (blah,blah,blah). Fine, I have it towed there and the policy of diagnostic here is $132 hr not a flat fee to find the issue. I'm no ASE certified mechanic but plugging an OBD and checking for the source code of the vehicles errors or even battery check, alternator, battery you know starting components of your vehicle for the fail. Well, apparently, at Hennessy this takes a minimum of 3hrs or more to diagnose the vehicle failure, remember at $132 an HOUR folks! Well, after speaking with my so called advisor, I tell him you got an hour find my issue I'm not giving you a blank check for you to fill in the blanks at leisure and no repair to boot yet or even quoted and no your diagnosis fee, however many hours, days, etc. will not be pardoned if you get the repair here. So, moving onto the following day I receive a call from the actual tech there. "Your battery is bad $200+ plus install for a new battery cannot move on without new battery" Really, dealership with no way to power a vehicle with a so called bad battery. NO, I'll bring you one. So I go purchase a new battery and take it to them save myself $75.. Now find the issue. Several hours later, we got it started "We think it's a fuse. Changed it, it's starting I'll show you where come get it. Ok, I go pick it up pay $140 go home cut the truck off. Go to leave 20min later. Nothing in the same position as I began. Truck won't start just great. Fuse had nothing to do with it!! Called them back "Well I told you we needed more hours to diagnose have it towed back and allot the time so we can further diagnose the problem". No #$@&^!! Thanks Already $400 out of pocket for nothing. Researched and found a reputable Auto Repair in Suwanee GA fed them my problems and gave them Cadillacs diagnosis report. Made no sense to them had nothing to do with a fuse or battery. They got my vehicle that afternoon and had it figured out and fixed that evening!! So battery was good after being tested. Fuse was a made up reason by Cadillac as well. 2 new keys and a starter and I'm happily down the road fixed better than new. So, the moral to my story is they are a RIPOFF!! Just because they got the fancy lot and modern technology look means ZERO! Oh yeah, Cadillac has recalls on my truck and I mentioned it to my so called advisor and he advised me, we can't do it. Don't have the parts here. Didn't go any further either so I guess I'll file it vehicles.GOV to find out who and when my recall wil be handled by before it fails. Customer Service is very questionable at Hennessy. If your Cadillac is under warranty then by all means go to them but if not STAY AWAY!! Bought a vehicle from Hennessy Cadillac this weekend. Our original internet contact, Darwin, was appropriately persistent without being annoying. As soon as we arrived at the dealership, he connected us with our product specialist, Nick Jones. Nick was immensely helpful without being pushy. His knowledge of the vehicle was impressive. He was patient with our questions and made sure we understood the vehicle and its features before we left the lot. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Our visit ended with time spent with Todd Menefee. What a fantastic personality he has! Not only did he educate us about our financing options and take care of that, we were engaged in meaningful and interesting conversation the entire time we were in his office. For the record, this is my first review of any service/good in my life. We purchased a Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned 2016 Escalade last night (5/15/2020). Got home around 10:30 with it last night. This morning (5/16/2020), less than 12 hours after purchase, upon getting in the vehicle we notice the clock had reset and was slow to start but did start. Drove around for about an hour running errands, came home and turned it off. It wouldn't start back. Called this dealership who was "sending out a technician" to diagnose and address the issue. After an hour, a gentleman arrived with jumper cables and no diagnostic capabilities. I could've done that an hour prior myself. Take it to batteries plus who tests the battery and say there is no reason for it not to start. It fails to start there and requires jumping off again. All the electronics are going haywire also. This destroys our whole day including a wedding, forces the closure of our business while addressing this issue. Drive to the dealership and the salesman (Reginald) acts like the wife has Carona or Ebola. Wife is there currently still dealing with this. Ongoing and I hope they make this right. I am not your typical complainer/reviewer. The fact that I am taking the time to download Yelp and make this review should let you know how concerned I am about this. I will try to figure out how to give anyone looking an update on the final outcome, but it doesn't look good. Consumer be weary!!! Thought I was buying a spaceship turns out may be a shiny piece of crap!! I'll update either way. Good or bad. 1 star for now...... Come on Hennessy Cadillac. Make this right. I have a 2013 ATS that I am very proud of. I was excited that Cadillac had designed a sport sedan that could go toe-to-toe with the premium brands from Europe and Japan. I especially like the styling and features. I was careful to find one with the V6 and every option offered. Some of my favorite features are the adaptive cruise control, heated steering wheel, and LED lights. The only malfunction I've encountered is one that has eluded the technicians, and that is the adaptive headlights that occasionally misalign and will illuminate the trees instead of the roadway as well as blind oncoming traffic. This happens about once a week. I can restart the car to correct the alignment. The service department at Hennessy Cadillac in Atlanta has been unable to duplicate or diagnose the problem. They assured me that since the issue is noted in my file that it would be covered by the warranty once the repair was made. Well, they've made a decision to replace both headlight assemblies (twelve days outside my warranty) which would normally cost over $3,000. But through the generosity of some Cadillac concessions, I would "only" have to cough up about $700. I am so disappointed that Cadillac expects me to pay anything for this defect, even though I've reported the issue to them several times during the warranty period. At this point I'm told that when the regional manager is in town that an appointment will be scheduled for me to meet with him. With Cadillac struggling to regain respect and success in the premium market I'm curious to see how Cadillac will respond to this matter. They have declined to cover the repair. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Jim Miller at this dealership. He seemed very arrogant from the moment I met him. As a female, he came across as condescending and dismissive. As a successful professional and mechanical engineer, it always amazes me when someone tries to discount me because of my gender. I was ready to buy a car and it could have been one of his easier sells. If you are a female, consider another dealership because they clearly don't understand the buying power of their potential female clientele. read more

In shopping for a used car I drove all over the metro and this dealership (Craig and Steve in sales specifically) were a refreshing combination of service (they followed up without being pushy and pulled the card I wanted to see up front before I arrived) and expertise. Well, so I got the money to pay cash for a used car. Best case scenario, right? Actually, they went the extra mile to explain that they actually don't like to take cash, but that they would do me the big favor of taking my money (actual words). Then they took over 4 hours to verify all my info even though I wasn't doing any finance. But the best was kept for last. They told me about the 203847612 items they inspect before selling any car, but they sold me a car LEAKING OIL. Seriously. Leaking oil. Probably the second thing you should check, after "having four wheels". A few days later, when I pointed out the problem to them (which was discovered in a different dealership check up), and that it was about to set me back around 5 hundred dollars, all they said was that "I was offered extra coverage and declined", so that's that. I expected better after all their positive reviews. But apparently dealers are all the same: eventually you will be fooled, no matter how you pay or with whom you buy. read more

The dealer stalled back and forth for almost a week on an online transaction, wasting a ton of our time we had to send multiple email requests for any information we asked for, horrible follow up, got us to agree to a price, said it was a done deal. We were waiting on APR terms, which they insisted I had to fill out the credit application to get the exact rate to determine whether we'd pay cash or finance. I told them I don't want to fill it out unless the deal is solid because I don't want to continue to run credit with multiple dealers, they assured the deal was done. I spoke with them up until 7PM that night (post credit approval) and they assured they were just 're-writing the numbers' now that everything was final and would have the revised contract over in the morning.. The next day the GM tells me they sold it the night before. They were working multiple deals, and collecting personal data assuring 'it's a done deal' just to turn around and sell it to someone else. Completely shady practices, would NEVER recommend working with them. We gave up two other opportunities for different vehicles because they said 'done deal' for us that means we've committed. read more

I want to relate an exceptional experience I had with Hennessy Cadillac. All points of contact I had with the dealership were positive, confident and professional. Victor King is an outstanding ambassador for Cadillac and took the time to understand my needs/wants and tell me how the car can satisfy them. I was in the market for a new car after my A6 was totaled from a collision with a deer, and had narrowed my search to a new A6 PP 3.0L, BMW 535i and the CTS Vsport. I reached out to the dealership via an online request and was immediately contacted via email by Craig Carpenter, Hennessy's internet manager. I called Craig the next day to set-up an appointment and told him about the car I was interested in purchasing. He took the time to tell me about the Vsport, the V heritage and set me up with a very knowledgeable sales consultant, Victor King. As I mentioned above, Victor was a true professional and I feel like he is a great asset to the Hennessy organization. The Business Manager, Canice Favorite, also quickly took care of my financing needs and found me a better rate than my pre-approval from my institution. All in all, it was a great purchase experience with a group of people who really understand customer service and how to professionally sell a vehicle. If you are in the market, call Victor. I have owned many new cars, and this is my first Cadillac. The CTS is a driver's car and beat the German competition hands down. Kudos to Cadillac and to Hennessy for a great experience! I own a 2007 Cadillac SRX V8 Northstar, I initially brought my vehicle in at the end of November because it was sputtering and seemed to be skipping gears. Upon diagnosis it was determined that I needed my number one coil and spark plugs replaced. Along with an oil leak. I had these services completed costing me around $1000. Once I picked up my vehicle it still seemed to not be driving correctly. Before I made it home that evening my check engine light came back on. I contact my service consultant Dave and brought the vehicle back the next morning. When I arrived a mechanic accessed the check engine light and advised it was a lean code and they cleared it. I assumed if a check engine light is on there is a problem but I took the word of the mechanic. While driving over the next week my engine check engine light came on again. I once again contacted Dave and he advised the first available appt would be on December 16 when I could receive a loaner vehicle. Dave contacted me the following day to now say there was an issue with my water pump which would cost me another $500. I went ahead and had the service done thinking this would fix my issues. Once this was completed I still have issues with the vehicle. One it seems to still be skipping, and now when driving any speed over 50mph my temperature gadge begins to drop. This leads me to believe that one my spark plugs or coil were not properly installed or the diagnosis was incorrect. One thing I noticed that on my paper work they have my vehicle listed as a V6 4 cylinder but the vehicle is a V8. Also if my water pump was replaced why is my temperature gadge not holding at a steady temperature. Being that I have thrown away $1500 and still am having issues with my vehicle makes me not want to throw my money away at Hennessy. While all the staff I dealt with were courteous and professional it seems that the mechanics are not capable of diagnosing and repairing my vehicle. As I do want my vehicle to run correctly I am not comfortable with bringing my vehicle in for a diagnosis and when the issue isn't resolved that another issue that wasn't initially present seems to appear and I am then on the hook for another costly repair that may or may not fix my vehicle. I feel that I need to be made whole for this experience but if not I will have no choice but to take my business to another dealership and not recommend Hennessy Cadillac for service. read more
