Initially, I was satisfied with my purchase at EchoPark. Elijah served as my salesperson and…read moreprovided excellent service. However, a problem arose shortly afterward. Within two days of acquiring my 2024 Volkswagen Jetta, I was compelled to bring the vehicle in due to an "engine service soon" alert. The vehicle's performance declined, and I encountered an error message stating P0010: Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit (Bank 1), indicating an electrical fault or failure with the camshaft adjuster valve. Consequently, I contacted EchoPark, and Orlando in the service department advised me to proceed to the Volkswagen dealership, given that the vehicle has only 48,000 miles and remains under warranty. Accordingly, I took the vehicle to Autonation in Buford, Georgia, on May 12. The vehicle was received on May 7, and the issues commenced on May 9. As part of my plans to visit Autonation, I was informed I would take an Uber to EchoPark after dropping off the vehicle. However, it took nearly two hours before I received assistance in arranging the rideshare. I interacted with at least five different staff members, none of whom were aware of the situation. Eventually, I spoke with Assistant General Manager Talon, who was exceedingly helpful and assisted me in reaching EchoPark. I waited at EchoPark for over an hour and was provided with a loaner vehicle as compensation for the inconvenience. Talon attempted to explore options for acquiring a different vehicle through the financing bank; however, the requirements for the vehicle I desired were more stringent. I subsequently decided against the Volkswagen due to the need for maintenance shortly after purchase. Since then, I have contacted Talon via phone and text messages without receiving any response. As of today, May 29, my vehicle has been in service since May 12, and no one, including Talon, has contacted me since May 15, despite multiple calls and messages. Rod in Sales called me and let me know my vehicle is ready to be picked up and arranged a rideshare as I returned the loaner. I am currently paying for a vehicle I have only possessed for five days, at a high interest rate. I also contacted EchoPark corporate, engaging with several agents and personnel, who ultimately provided minimal assistance and offered little follow-up despite my requests for a callback to discuss alternative options. This situation is entirely unacceptable and constitutes poor business conduct. I am disheartened by how EchoPark has managed this problem, especially considering its simplicity to resolve. Nevertheless, I would like to acknowledge the exemplary service provided by Rod, the Service Manager, or Sales Manager. His professionalism and dedication were outstanding and deserve recognition, potentially in the form of a raise or promotion. Although EchoPark did provide a loaner vehicle--an act of kindness--it does not mitigate the inconvenience caused nor the manner in which this matter has been handled. Management should have been more proactive in addressing this issue, maintaining constant communication, and seeking solutions that benefit both the customer and the organization. The total without labor in the picture is shown. The total with labor was over $5k for a vehicle I just purchased. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF YOUR VEHICLE PURCHASE. Thank God mine was under warranty. EchoPark you guys need to do better and compensate me for this major problem.

The first time we went to Echo Park to test drive a car, the process was pretty quick and smooth…read more We ended up not buying that car. Fast forward a few months and we recently went back to Echo Park. Set up an appointment online for between 7 and 8. Got to Echo at around 7:30 and were told to sit in the waiting area. There were a lot of other people also waiting. My husband and I sat there until around 8:45, watching as employees looked frazzled and like no one had any clue what was going on. I finally went up to the desk to ask how much longer? Guy at the desk says they tried to call me multiple times on my phone (why? I'm sitting just a few feet away) which was a lie, I had no missed calls. I'm then told someone will be there right away. We wait for another 15ish mins and then leave. While I do appreciate Amber following up by text and answering my questions, Duluth is a long trek for us to go test drive a car only to sit around with no updates, no "we're busy, we'll be with you soon," nothing. Seems like this location has a management problem and maybe needs to hire more employees? Once we got the details about the car we were interested in, including an out the door price, it wasn't such a great deal after all. I'll be shopping elsewhere for my next car and cannot in good faith recommend shopping at Echo Park.

They have blowing up my cell phone non stop and saying they can't give me a price unless I come in. I normally have the price pre-negotiated before coming in. I asked the sales person twice for the price and he refused to give me one. I told him that I didn't have time for games and left it like that. A few days later, he emailed and sent me a video. I asked him twice for a price and he still wouldn't give me one. He asked me what price I was thinking about. I gave him a super low price to mess with them before I was tired of their games. I would highly avoid this place as they need to learn some customer service and how to sell cars. I already picked up my Jeep out of state bc they played no games and got to point. If the GM is reading this, please retrain your employees on how deal business with customers. When a customer asks you for an OTD price, just give it to them. Stop dancing around and playing games and telling the customer has to come in for to get a price or refuse to give one. I wish I can give this place -20 stars. FYI, this sales man has blown up my cell phone at least 20 times. They seem desperate but have 0 customer service skills. If you're reading this, you know who I am referring to.

I recently bought a vehicle from this location, and while my salesperson Kevin was actually pretty…read moredecent and seemed like he meant well, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse once the sale was done. Before finalizing the deal, I made it very clear that I was only moving forward if the vehicle came with a working charger. Well, I got the car -- but the charger doesn't work at all. That's bad enough, but what's worse is how everything was handled after. I tried reaching out multiple times -- called at least 4 or 5 times -- just to speak with a manager. No response. When I finally got through to Nubian M. Holmes, who is apparently the Sales Manager, I was completely shocked by how rude and unprofessional he was. Instead of trying to help or even just listen, he brushed off the situation, offered no solutions, and actually told me: "If you're not happy, just bring the car back. We'll be waiting." Who says that to a customer? It wasn't just dismissive -- it was disrespectful. No accountability, no effort to make it right. Just pure ego and attitude. I honestly couldn't believe it. Let me be clear: this isn't about the car. It's about how they treat people after they get your money. That's when the mask comes off. And if this is the kind of leadership they have running the place, it explains a lot. The sales team might seem helpful at first, but once the papers are signed, you're on your own. No one will care. No one will help. And if something goes wrong? Good luck even getting a call back. Trust your gut and shop somewhere else. I wish I had.

BUYER BEWARE. This dealership does not even do basic safety checks on their vehicles. I bought a…read morecar on Tuesday right before they closed. Thirty minutes after leaving the lot, the car I bought for my daughter to drive back to college started shaking badly. We took it straight to a mechanic and found out it needs four new tires (they are warped, not bald, so the damage isn't visible), a bent rim, and new rear brakes -- over $1,000 in repairs just 30 minutes after purchase. They told us they inspect and service their cars. That is not true. I understand the car was sold "as is," but when a vehicle has serious safety issues immediately after leaving the lot, you would expect at least some good-faith effort to make it right. Instead, they said to my husband, "You should have bought the warranty." The warranty does not cover warped tires or brakes because those fall under normal wear and tear (except for the bent rim). This was not a cheap cash car -- we are making payments on it. If you buy from this place, bring your own mechanic because they clearly are not checking what they sell. Also, while we were there today, they were trying to sell a truck that needed new brakes, rotors, and had bald tires. They do not care about customer safety -- only money.

Buyer Beware: I purchased a 2014 Beetle from Carma under the express promise that a newly replaced…read moreturbocharger carried a 12-month warranty. The car recently suffered a major failure. A certified European automotive specialist inspected the vehicle and uncovered severe mechanical negligence by Carma's attached shop. They installed a completely incompatible, no-name aftermarket turbocharger that cannot communicate with the vehicle's computer, omitted critical safety heat shielding, and shortcutted the job by spraying copper sealant over reused exhaust gaskets. To make matters worse, they also put the completely wrong coolant into the vehicle, forcing me to pay for an immediate, full system flush and replacement to prevent catastrophic engine damage. Good luck trying to get a human on the phone to address these issues--Carma uses an aggressive AI telephone system designed to screen and filter customer calls, making it nearly impossible to reach an actual person when you need help. When I finally bypassed the system, management refused to correct their shop's faulty, unsafe installation with a functioning factory part, offering only to slap on the exact same failing aftermarket brand. I have been forced to pay almost $7,000 out of pocket to a specialized shop to make the vehicle safe and operational. I have officially filed a consumer fraud and deceptive practices complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Be incredibly careful trusting this dealership's word or their internal shop's work.

I attempted to purchase a 2018 Audi S5 from them in February 2026. I was buying from out of state…read more The vehicle was advertised for $19,780 across multiple online automotive platforms. Prior to authorizing a down payment, I confirmed with dealership staff that the total purchase price would equal the advertised price. After I provided written authorization for a refundable deposit contingent upon an independent inspection, the dealership introduced additional mandatory dealer-imposed fees totaling $1,245, including documentation, administrative, and reconditioning charges. These fees were not disclosed in the advertised price and were required in order to complete the transaction. Imagine, the dealership was trying to add on charges after the fact from them cleaning the car to sell! When I objected and requested that the dealership honor the advertised price inclusive of mandatory dealer fees, communication ceased on their end, not returning my messages. The vehicle was temporarily listed as pending and later relisted at a higher price on their site. Although no funds were processed, this conduct raises concerns regarding advertised price transparency and disclosure of mandatory dealer charges in direct violation of Georgia anti bait-and-switch laws. *UPDATE AFTER COMPANY RESPONSE*: As clearly admitted by the company, they completely agree with my entire review. Their made up bait-and-switch fees (such as attempting to add on a charge for cleaning the car) were told to me AFTER I had asked them for the total and provided written authorization (per their instructions) for a charge to my credit card based on that total, out-the-door price. Attempting to keep this original review brief, I left off many details. But here is another point which others should know: since I was buying from out of state, I wanted a dealer pre-inspection (of which I was going to pay from out of my own pocket). The salesman kept trying to get me to not send it to the local Audi dealer, but a CarX down the street. That raised more red flags.

Someone other than George txted me and told they won't take their cars there for inspection. Who doesn't let the manufacturers dealership inspect a car?!? Made an appointment with Solo Motorsports 10 min away. They're an independent audi/vw/porsche shop with a nation wide reputation. Atlanta Direct refused to let them inspect it, said they "did damage to one of their cars." Nick at Solo has no record of working with the dealership, doesn't have any clue who they are...lol. Said I could find any other place to take it. I found another reputable shop. Eurofed, also a German performance shop, also within a 10min drive. Atlanta Direct told me they don't do business with Eurofed either. No reason was given. Eurofed also had zero record of working with them. When I questioned the new sales person (not George,) on refusing an inspection at 3 highly reputable businesses, he got VERY defensive. Claiming the car was still "his," and his choice, not mine. They offered a Firestone next door to do the inspection for $25. That doesn't sound very trustworthy to me. Inspections cost $200+ The lack of transparency and sketchy behavior turned sour so fast upon inspection request, there must be something wrong with the cars that they don't want found or to have to disclose. Solo and Eurofed didn't break any cars. If they did look at any of Bobby's cars, they only discovered the flaws that Bobby covers up because that's their job and they know what they're doing. Bobby's terrified of reputable businesses. They discover his unethical business practices. Other Yelps reviews on "Bobby's" business character and demeanor are below to make your own judgement. He uses a copy and paste reply to all negative reviews. You only need a script to copy if you use it repeatedly. Very telling. Scammers don't like it when you catch them and call them out.
